She Drinks a Lot of Water
Gal prioritizes hydration. "I wake up and drink water like a camel," she recently revealed to Shape. "I have a full, chilled bottle of Smartwater + Clarity before coffee or anything else."
She Follows the Mediterranean Diet
"I'm all about the Mediterranean diet. I love to cook it, and I enjoy eating it too," she told Shape. In previous interviews she has noted that some of her go-to foods include eggs, avocado, veggies, quinoa, and grilled steak and fish.
She Allows Herself to Cheat
"I'm not a saint," she revealed to Shape about allowing herself to cheat on occasion. "I eat cheeseburgers and stuff like that. But the majority of the time, I keep it healthy. And when I do, I'm more vital."
She Does Interval Training
Gal is a fan of interval training and goes hard when she needs to. "I try to get to it every day, but sometimes it's more like three to four times a week," she said. "Let's do this," she captioned a recent Instagram photo taken from one of her workouts.
She Likes Being Strong
After packing on 17 pounds of "all muscle" to play Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, she told Glamour that she prefers being strong over thin. "I feel so much better now. When you feel strong, it changes everything — your posture, the way you walk. I look at photos from five years ago and think, Whoa, I was too skinny. It's not cool."
She Prioritizes Wellness
"Wellness is such an essential part of my life because the better I feel, the better I look, the better I am," Gal explained to Shape. Meditation is a practice that helps her get her zen on. She likes using the Headspace app. "It's quick, it's easy to use, and it really helps me feel present," she said. "That and getting enough quality sleep are the keys for me."
