She's Newly Sober

"I'm actually a hundred days sober today and I'm so excited," Teigen told Hoda Kotb on the Today Show yesterday. "I feel so good, I feel very clear-headed. I feel like I've done the work and I just hope these people can forgive and be able to welcome the fact that hopefully they've seen me be better." She knew she had a problem with alcohol. "I've been struggling with it honestly, for the past couple of years when I knew it was kind of an issue," she said. "Just even like doing interviews and things like I would think I needed a glass of wine, and then it just started to get embarrassing like at award shows and things and everyone memes it and thinks it's funny and cute that you fell asleep or something." She continued: "I just was like, I can't be the messy one."This is embarrassing, and I don't want to be waking up in the morning and being like, 'Oh, what did I say?' Like that's so embarrassing and then it was just not worth it."

She Has Resolved to "Be Better"

Teigen apoloigized after claims she cyberbullied model Courtney Stodden years ago. "I think you learn so much in the moments where you do lose so much, you lose it all, your world is kind of turned upside down," Teigen told Hoda. "For me it was a big moment of, 'Wow, I need to find out how I can be better, how I can grow from this, learn from this.' There's that old cliché like I'm glad it happened, but truly it made me a stronger person, a better person." She added: "I look at my kids and I look at what I want their values to be and how I want them to treat people, and to see that in myself that I wasn't doing that. The hardest part for me was realizing, my goodness, this really had an effect on people. … You don't really think about the impact and the person on the other side."

She Had Surgery For Endometriosis

"Please endo this pain lol," Teigen said via an Instagram Story from the hospital. "Endometriosis (en-doe-me-tree-O-sis) is an often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus," says the Mayo Clinic. The pain after the operation was worth it.  "It makes it hard, every little cough and stuff, but it is truly still better than the contractions and the pain of endo."

She Works Out when She Can

"Sometimes I'll go two months without working out and them my trainer will be like, 'What the hell, get your ass back here!' And then I go really hard," she told People. "It's all about balance," says Teigen. "And yes, I definitely stray, I go crazy, but if I did that all the time I would be very unhappy, like physically sad and just feeling lazy and horrible."

Here's Her Breakfast Recipe

Chrissy Teigen/Instagram

Teigen once Instagrammed a luscious breakfast: "low and slow creamy eggs, garlic roasted bacon and burst tomatoes from this morning! To feed 3, I cracked 10 eggs into a big bowl, whisked with a hearty splash of heavy cream and a good amount of salt and pepper. On low, I heated a tablespoon or so of olive oil with a tablespoon of butter in a non stick skillet and poured in the egg mix. Don't stop gently stirring and scraping (edges and all) for more than a few seconds! The first 10 minutes won't look like much but then boom…you'll notice it getting thicker and thicker. As it gets thick enough to stop flowing all over the entire pan, make sure to spread out the eggs throughout the pan and keep stirring. Like cheesy eggs with no cheese! Then out of nowhere, the moisture is mostly gone and you're done! More than worth the wait! (The bacon is roasted at 400 for 10-15 mins with chopped garlic cloves on a baking sheet and tomatoes tossed in olive oil and shaken in a hot pan for a bit)"

She Wants to Be Happy-Fit

"Since I was 20 years old, I had this weight in my mind that I am, or that I'm supposed to be," Teigen told Women's Health. "I've been so used to that number for 10 years now. And then I started realizing it was a swimsuit-model weight. There's a very big difference between wanting to be that kind of fit and wanting to be happy-fit."

"We had the most beautiful, wonderful time in Bali. Como Shambhala, my body and mind have never felt so clear. Thank you for getting me to move again … and giving me some much-needed body and nutrition schooling!" she said in 2017.
