Aly broke down her nighttime routine with Self, and she says that she takes it very seriously. Aly is open about her mental health, namely her struggles with anxiety. She tells Self that she’s been doing things that help her manage her anxiety and mental health. “Going to therapy, doing meditation, and writing in a journal is also really helpful. I do that before bed because I really don’t like going to sleep feeling anxious. I try to figure my anxiety out, because if I don’t, then I’ll be thinking about it, and then I can’t sleep. I’ve just learned the value of that for me. Whether that means not looking at an email, or if I know something’s going to stress me out, I’ll try not to do that thing later in the evening.”
