This Is What She Eats in a Day
Anna eats a really healthy diet. "I haven't been eating as soon as I get up in the morning, my first meal would probably be around 11 to maybe one o'clock and that would be a breakfast meal. I love eggs or I even go to one of my favorite cafes and they do a breakfast bowl with eggs, kale, peas, nuts and then I normally add crispy bacon, because I love bacon," she Women's Health Australia. "It's funny, when I order a salad, even for dinner I'd add a plate of chips or bacon and still feel like I'm doing the right thing by ordering the salad. But before breakfast, I wake up and get a coffee or green tea with lemon in it then my breakfast/lunch. Then in the afternoon, I think it depends on how I'm traveling, I might get a snack on the run, something like a piece of fruit or corn thins with cheese on them, or I might have a sushi roll." She adds that every day her diet changes. "Then for dinner, we try and have a piece of protein, vegetables or salad and then fruit and yogurt for dessert. We love dark chocolate too. Or as an alternative, last night we made a chicken curry with cauliflower and mash. Even if we're having spaghetti, we try and do half zucchini noodles or a healthy alternative."
She Doesn't Diet
Anna maintains that healthy living is all about consistency. "I definitely have to work on it but health and fitness is more of a constant lifestyle thing for me," she told Marie Claire Australia. "I don't ever diet, but I make it a priority to be healthy and have exercise a part of my life every single day, whether it's just going for a walk or choosing to walk as opposed to getting into the car and driving somewhere."
She Eats Off a Smaller Plate
One of Anna's tips to eat less? "If Tim and I are cooking at home, I try and eat off a smaller plate than him. It kind of tricks your mind into thinking you're eating the same amount. So if you're going back for seconds, it's probably like just having the meal I would have had it on a larger plate. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway," she told Marie Claire.
She Mixes Up Her Workouts
Variety is key when it comes to Anna's approach to fitness. "Mixing things up keeps me motivated, I find it extremely important because I don't want exercise to become a chore. It's about enjoying every form of exercising. I go for long walks, I do body-weighted exercise on the rings, I go on the pump and most recently I've started doing Infinite Cycle classes which I kind of just added onto my fitness regime," she told Marie Claire.
Her Husband Is Her Workout Buddy
While she exercises alone most of the time, she does work out with her husband on occasion. "I don't always train with him, I like to mix it up. But Tim and I might do a boxing class together on a Sunday and we recently went to the Ninja Warrior gym (laughs) where I had to do some of the ninja obstacles, it was pretty funny," she told Marie Claire.
