Hire a Trainer
Meghan is all about hiring a professional for fitness help."A lot of people have asked me how I got my body back after having Aspen – well this is it: combined with breastfeeding, it was also important for me to consult someone who not only talks the talk, but walks the walks – @nancyandersonfit!" she wrote on Instagram she wrote after welcoming her first child. "She's a trainer and nutritionist (and fellow Mama!) who specializes in designing effective nutrition and workout programs for women (like me!) I know from experience: If you are looking to lose weight, while also increasing your energy, check out her 30 day slim down launching April 10. It's a 30 day meal plan that will jump start your weight loss and get you back on track and feeling great!"
Maintain an Active Lifestyle
Meghan maintains that outdoor activities are a key part of staying in shape. In a blog shared on her website, she revealed that running, hiking, fishing, boating, and bike riding kept her fit during lockdown.
Meditate
Get your zen on, says Megan. "I've started meditating every day for 10 minutes," she wrote on her blog. "I'm terrible, can't focus, and I have to set a timer. Sometimes I fall asleep. But I do it every day without fail because I'm trying to love me more."
Do Hot Yoga
Turn up the heat of your yoga practice. Meghan loves hot yoga. "It's like the most beautiful measured pain in the universe – half meditation/half workout," she wrote on her blog.
Actively Practice Self-Love
For Meghan, self-love is the name of the game. She maintains that "the hardest" activity is self-affirmations. "Looking in my own eyes in the mirror at yoga and saying 'I love you. You can push yourself farther because I believe in you.' And looking into the mirror after a shower and saying to my most loathed features 'I love you, broad shoulders. You have carried the weight of the world and I am proud you are mine.' Actually, even just looking into my own eyes as if I am an observer who has fallen in love with ME, well that's hard," she wrote.
