She Cooks

Peta recently started coking. "I have fallen in love with cooking for my little family. I used to loathe it, because I never had to do it and therefore never had the passion for it. Now that I'm a mother and I am concerned with what my child is eating, I am more inclined to cook at home, to ensure I know exactly what's going in his mouth," she told People. "It took a while to find a love for it, but now that I have the bug I'm cooking three days a week."

She Hydrates

Peta understands the importance of hydration. Because her lifestyle is so active she drinks a lot of water. She revealed to People that in an average day, she downs 2.5 liters of water.

This Is What She Eats in a Day

Peta detailed her daily diet to People. She starts her morning with an omelet with four eggs, a handful of goat cheese, five slices of smoked salmon, capers and dill. For lunch she eats a salad with 1 cup grilled chicken, two tomatoes, half a cucumber, red onion, dill and a flaxseed-oil-and-balsamic-vinegar dressing. For a snack, she will eat a bowl of raspberries, blackberries and strawberries. For dinner, she eats a 5 oz. steak with dry seasoning with steamed broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts with cranberries and balsamic vinegar. And for a post-dinner sweet dreek, Greek yogurt with dried mango followed by a pre-bedtime beverage of mint tea.

She Works Out

Aside from dancing, Peta does other workouts including taking hot yoga, boxing, and pilates classes. "Anything that would just be different from dancing helps me keep my physique because craft services are great on tour, too," she told People. "We eat well!"

She Breaks Up Her Workouts

When doing strength training and cardio workouts, she has a trick so she doesn't get bored. "If you have trouble focusing thru a cardio workout, break it up w/ 15 min cardio & 15 min weights & repeat," she shared in a tweet, along with a photo of herself at the gym.
