She Plays Tennis

Ketzner enjoys playing tennis as part of her fitness regimen. "A good lifestyle includes a balanced blend of adequate physical activity and a modulated diet. While dietitians can advise people to eat a balanced diet and even curate a dietary schedule, it is important to supplement that with a good exercise regime. And for those, who find that too boring, you could invest in a sport like tennis. Tennis requires full body coordination and hence, it keeps the brain active. This further results in the active release of serotonin, which helps you to sleep soundly," says dietician and fitness expert Vidhi Chawla.

2

She Loves Green Tea

Ketzner enjoys the energy boost she gets from green tea. "Green tea contains a number of natural stimulants, including caffeine, which although not as high as coffee, may still help maintain alertness and focus," says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. "In addition to this, green tea is a source of the amino acid L-theanine, which has a relaxing effect; it does this by increasing mood-enhancing brain chemicals including GABA, dopamine and serotonin. The beneficial polyphenols of green tea may also help slow the effects of aging on the brain."

She Eats Plenty Of Fresh Fruit

Ketzner loves big plates of fresh fruit, especially delicious pineapple. "Pineapple is the only food known to contain bromelain, an enzyme that helps your skin and tissues heal," says Julia Zumpano, RD. "Bromelain appears to produce substances that combat in pain and swelling. Choose canned pineapple packed in its juice, not syrup. Pineapple is sweet enough on its own, so skip the added sugar when you can."

4

She Loves Cauliflower Pizza

Ketzner enjoys subbing out pizza crust for one made of cauliflower. "Cauliflower is a source of choline, an essential nutrient we need for mood, memory and recall," says registered nutritionist Kerry Torrens. "As such, it is a key building block of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger involved in signaling the central nervous system. Choline is also essential for brain development."

5

She Enjoys Lobster

Ketzner loves to eat lobster, especially when she's on the east coast. "Shellfish – especially crustaceans – are high in amino acids, known as the 'building blocks' of protein as we need them for growth and repair and the synthesis of hormones and neurotransmitters," says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook.
