Soledad practices regular meditation. "Rest and close your eyes. What do you seek to achieve? What are in your dreams? How would you like to feel when you reach your dream? Feel it in your body and your mind," she captioned a recent TikTok video. "Meditation is thought to work via its effects on the sympathetic nervous system, which increases heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure during times of stress. Yet meditating has a spiritual purpose, too," says Harvard Health. "True, it will help you lower your blood pressure, but so much more: it can help your creativity, your intuition, your connection with your inner self," says Burke Lennihan, a registered nurse who teaches meditation at the Harvard University Center for Wellness, to Harvard Health.
She Does Yoga
Soledad's main form of fitness is yoga. "Trust, find what you love," she captioned one of her posts. "I always do what I'm passionate about, I study what sparks my interest, what I didn't know was how they were going to connect all these interests in my future. Years ago I heard a lecture Steve Jobs gave for Stanford University in 2005, where he said just this: 'You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only do it by looking back, so you have to trust that to somehow those dots will connect in your future.' And so it is. I found how to connect all those dots in my life today."
She Eats Healthy
Soledad maintains a healthy diet. For breakfast she often eats oatmeal or Acai bowls. She also loves green smoothies. "One of my favorites and always recommend for those who want to start taking green smoothies and taking care of their skin 💚🌿 Ginger Peel Lime (I like it a lot! ) Frozen Mango (gives creaminess) Spinach (if you don't want it sweeter, you can avoid adding it) Collagen Hemp seeds or Chia seeds," she captioned a recipe for her go-to drink.
She Does a Lot of Ab Work
Soledad does a lot of ab work to keep her midsection tight. "My ABS routine I call 10-20-30-40-50 for all those who asked me 😉 I do it this way because I find it easier and practical to get my head sorted and relax. I do it x3 or x4, you can start trying with one or make it shorter 10-20-30 or 30-40-50 whichever you like! Try what works for you and consult with a trainer to help you with technique," she captioned a post showing off her movies.
She Views Exercise as Self-Care
For Soledad, exercise is self-care. "No filter no make up no hair but focused on my goals. 😉 I often get asked how do I get in the mood to workout. Truth is I do it for my mental health and for my body health, not just to look pretty, but obviously the results help and motivate to follow! I see physical movement as something I need to do for myself. It's part of my self-care, my Self-Care routine. It motivates me to do it for me and not others.
