Not only does it come with lots of physical benefits, like working out your whole body, being outdoors is a mood-booster.
She Takes Pole Dancing Classes
Ary has fun with fitness. Instead of taking regular exercise classes, she enjoys pole dancing. "Let's go to class," she captioned this post. "Let's go to pole dancing class," she adds in the video, showing off her moves. "In accordance with ASCM guidelines, an advanced-level 60-minute pole dancing class can be classified as a moderate-intensity cardiorespiratory exercise; when completed for ≥30 minutes, ≥5 days per week (total ≥150 minutes) satisfies the recommended level of exercise for improved health and cardiorespiratory fitness," says one study.
She Takes Time for Self-Care
Ary takes care of her body and her mind. She is all about self-care and getting the rest and relaxation she needs to recharge. "Spa day," she captioned this post. "While there are many strategies to manage stress and anxiety, Kristin Lothman, a mind-body counselor with Mayo Clinic's Department of Integrative Medicine and Health, says intentionally setting aside time to be quiet and practice self-care is a practice that can reap significant benefits," says the Mayo Clinic, soon quoting Lothman: "I recommend developing a daily self-care practice. It is important to take care of ourselves so that we can show up more powerfully in our own lives and for the people we love."
She Rides Bikes
Ary also rides bikes, a great low-impact aerobic exercise that is ideal for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance, per The Cleveland Clinic. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
She Runs
Running is also part of Ary's approach to staying in shape. "Our first race," she captioned a post, revealing she completed a 5k. According to the Mayo Clinic, hitting the pavement is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
