She Does Regular Breast Cancer Checks
Simpson opened up about her life to The Sun. She revealed that she had a breast cancer scare previously, and that she has started doing regular checks ever since. "I am very lucky," she says. "People have been through much worse than me, but I was terrified. Because of my dad's condition, I always check my breasts, and the lump was huge. My GP sent me to the hospital for a biopsy. I remember waiting for the results. It was awful."
She Walks On The Treadmill
Simpson tells The Sun that she made a lot of life changes after her cancer scare. "Now I try to be healthy." She says that she likes to do cardio exercises regularly. "I walk a lot on the treadmill," she said. "Sometimes for two hours at a time, and I've lost over 2st in weight since then."
She Sews
Simpson is an avid sewer. She tells The Sun that this is something she does for her wellbeing. "In about 2017, after my breast cancer scare, I was feeling so down I decided to get a sewing machine," she says. "I couldn't sew, but I knew I needed to do something creative for my mental health." Simpson began up-cycling her clothes, and that it helped her feel more confident in herself.
She's Charitable
Simpson likes to speak out on causes that are important to her. She also supports a lot of charities. Simpson shared this post on Instagram for the charity, Childline. She captioned it, "Emotional abuse is never your fault. If you're struggling at home, visit Childline for support and talk to a counsellor. To any of my young followers – you are not alone."
She Skydived
To support the charity Homeless House, Simpson went skydiving. She shared highlights from the day and opened up about it in this Instagram post. She captioned it, "Diary of a seagull. Yesterday was an unreal experience in many ways. Firstly the charity @_homelesshouse – it has been a privilege to be a part of your fundraiser and here's to many more.
