Hamlin opened up about her career to Vogue. She says that she prioritizes her downtime, especially after a busy day. "I am an extremely introverted person, which is of course a blessing and a curse. After a shoot, it is very important for me to mentally recharge, as I probably have another one the following day. I need to decompress from the character(s) that I have been putting all my energy into all day so that I can master a new one tomorrow!"

Hamlin is what you might call a "nepo baby", as her parents are both actors. However, she tells W Magazine that she isn't afraid to acknowledge her privilege. She also says that she is grateful. "The way I grew up was an asset," she said. "I can't sit here and deny that. No situation is solely positive or negative, but I do know that I'm really lucky."

Hamlin is all about kindness. She tells Vogue that she was taught to value this trait. "My parents taught me how important kindness is. I truly live by the idea that the most beautiful woman can walk in the room and quickly become the ugliest simply by how she treats others."

Hamlin has a large platform, and she wants to use it for good. She tells Vogue that she wants to inspire people. "I want to be known as an artist that inspires people. I want to represent unapologetic and unique beauty from the inside. I want to embrace my flaws and insecurities to inspire others to love themselves for who they are. Everyone deserves to feel beauty and confidence. I hope I can play a role in that."

Hamlin tells Vogue that she is a creative person. She says that this helped her not only know herself better, but led to her modeling career. "As I grew up and time went on, I began to realize that I am a very creative person," she says. "I started spending my time studying the craft, rummaging through magazine stores, tearing apart magazines, taking out images that inspired me and pasted them on boards. Slowly, I curated my personal vibe and I got to know myself as an artist a lot better."
