Keep Gluten, Sugar, and Carbs to a Minimum

Molly isn't into crash diets diets. "It's more about living healthy and how you're feeling," she told Women's Health. "I truly, truly don't like the word 'diet.' I don't even like the scale. I use a pair of jeans; the jeans don't lie I can tell you that." Her method of eating eliminates a few things. "I tend to stay away from anything super sugary, like orange juice grapefruit juice, because it really spikes me," she added. "I try to stay away from dried fruits; it's ultimately full of sugar." She also avoids gluten. "It's not that I'm celiac; I just feel better when I have less of it," she said. One of her tricks? Ordering a salad as soon as she sits down to eat. "I don't care if I'm being rude to the rest of the table," she added to Shape. "Then I'm not tempted to reach for that bread," she explained. Finally, she fuels up on healthy fats. "I would have never eaten an avocado 10 years ago if you paid me," she told Health. "Like, are you joking? But now, instead of binging [and] not eating all day, eat it and then you won't binge."

Do Intermittent Fasting

Molly swears by intermittent fasting. She starts the day with a smoothie with blueberries, almond milk, Vital Proteins protein, and greens at noon. "I will normally not eat much past 6:30 or 7 p.m. because I find that it's easier to lose weight," she told Women's Health.

Do HIIT Workouts

Molly claims that HIIT style workouts are much more effective than cardio. "I used to be that girl who wouldn't pick up the 2-lb weights at SoulCycle with the fear that I'd bulk. That mentality has shifted drastically," she explained on her blog. "On good days, workout. On bad days, workout harder," she added on Instagram. "Today's circuit is what I do when I just have 20 minutes with @lauralizkeller [Sims' personal trainer] to get it in and still break a sweat!"

Mix Up Your Workouts

Molly, who revealed to The Newsette that she gets in an early morning workout at 6 a.m. every morning, mixes up her workouts. A few of her go-tos include Tracy Anderson Method, Dance Body, Blogilates, and Megan Roup's The Sculpt Society. The Tracy Anderson Method is a fitness program developed by personal trainer Tracy Anderson. The program is based on the idea that by performing specific exercises that target small, often ignored muscles, it is possible to create a long, lean, and toned appearance. The method involves a combination of dance-based cardio, strength training, and stretching, and is often presented in the form of DVDs, streaming workouts, and in-person classes. Some people who have tried the Tracy Anderson Method have reported positive results, including weight loss, increased muscle tone, and improved overall fitness. However, as with any fitness program, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting and to be aware of any potential risks or limitations.

Prioritize Self-care

Molly maintains that "you have to" prioritize self-care and maintains that it is anything but selfish. "You literally have to calendar your own self in. As we all know, guilt isn't real; it's just what we tell ourselves. The better you feel about yourself, the better person you are; the better mom you are," she told New Beauty. "You feel more prepared to take on the world. Like yesterday, I was like, 'I want to go to summer camp. I want to be fed, I want to sleep. Put in me summer camp, OK? Send me to mom summer camp."
