Martina Colombari is closing out her Miami vacation week in her swimsuit. The 47-year-old Italian actress shows off her forever young figure in a tiny bathing suit via social media, while on the beach in South Florida. She Lifts Weights
In order to keep her muscles toned, Martina lifts weights daily. "An hour and a half, even every day, of physical activity in the gym with weights together with my personal trainer, Gabriele Corradi, who has been following me for 16 years," she told Vanity Fair in 2020.
She Does Calisthenics
Then, she heads "outdoors and with the equipment of the parks I do calisthenics, which uses the weight of your body as resistance, it is the same method that Jury Chechi used," she told the publication.
She Also Runs
Martina's go to form of cardio? "I run a little," she told Vanity Fair. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
She Gets Body Shamed for Being Thin, But Doesn't Listen
"Even those who are thin, who do not have the ideal weight of what people expect, because they have a sporty, physically fit, trained body, or suffer from an eating disorder, is subjected to criticism," Martina told Vanity Fair about being body shamed over her thin figure. "Negative comments don't bother me much, because I know how I feel, if I'm good or bad, if I'm serene or not, or how much physical activity is useful for me to feel fit, healthier, with less make me sick and keep me away from dysfunctional habits that lead to a bad lifestyle."
She Eats Healthy
Martina maintains a healthy diet. "Through nutrition, first of all, important choices are made for health, what you put on the table is already a step towards a better life. Just inquire a little and learn how to eat tasty and healthy, avoiding too many refined carbohydrates, for example," she told Vanity Fair. She loves chickpea flour pasta and "a lot of legumes," she says. "I cook them in soups, or as burgers, or I prepare an Indian dish, it's called 'dal', made with yellow lentils and turmeric, sometimes stung on salad and feta, it's a way of eating that takes more time but it is more balanced. (…) A diet is a discipline and each discipline brings only good results."
She Gets Vitamin Drips
Martina infuses vitamins into her body by getting regular drips "of minerals, vitamins, glutathione, substances that are used to regenerate the tissues and to nourish them from within," she revealed to Vanity Fair. "I do two a month and I feel very comfortable."
She Hydrates
Martina also hydrates drinking water "frequently, not only after physical activity. Usually a liter and a half of water a day," she told the magazine. "And I have recently discovered the functional waters that I drink with pleasure because they have a good enrichment of minerals and vitamins and help to replenish zinc, magnesium, potassium or the B vitamins, without them being present sugars or calories."
