Prior to her appearance on Paradise, Genevieve already spent a lot of time at the beach. She loves to swim as a way of staying in shape. Genevieve has a lot of photos on Instagram of herself in the water. On her Fiji trip, Genevieve, and her friend, Bachelorette star, Rachel Recchia, spent some time in the pool. They shared this Instagram collaboration photo, which she captioned, “Actual paradise.”
She’s More Open
Genevieve opened up about her time on The Bachelor to BachelorNation.com. She says that she is working on being more open. “On the show, I realized that I need to be better about opening up, being vulnerable, and letting my walls down. So since getting back from ‘The Bachelor,’ I haven’t done much dating since I’ve been back but I have been more open. That’s really what I learned from the experience is that I need to be more open or I’m not going to get anywhere when it comes to a relationship.”
She Sticks Up For Herself
Genevieve isn’t afraid of sticking up for herself, which was evident in her season. She tells BachelorNation.com that she wants others to do the same. “I just hope that I gave people some confidence to stick up for themselves. I did my best to do that the entire time on the show. I was myself and stood up for myself and my friends when I felt like it was the right thing to do.”

During 2020, the Black Lives Matter movement was in full swing after the death of George Floyd. Genevieve made sure to support the movement on Instagram.
