She Drinks Coffee

Alisha loves coffee – both hot and iced. Why should you drink a few cups a day? According to science drinking coffee is great for your health. A new 2022 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death.

She Snorkles

Alisha loves putting her fins and mask on and going underwater. Here she is snorkeling with sharks. "A real life mermaid," she captioned a video. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

She Runs

Alisha loves running. She captioned this post "protect your energy," adding running emojis. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

She Hydrates

Alisha prioritizes hydration. "Living life," she captioned a photo of herself drinking out of a coconut in the Dominican Republic.  According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

She Rides Bikes

Alisha also stays active on her hike. Here she is riding in the country. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
