In her recent Instagram post, Rouass talked about the importance of not comparing herself to others. "Growing older is a privilege," she writes. "Don't waste precious time comparing yourself to others. If you want to make changes in your life…Want those changes for you and not because you feel you should have accumulated this or that by now."
She Goes After What She Wants
Rouass is extremely determined. She talked about this quality in the caption of her recent Instagram post. "I enjoy the things I have," she starts. "And if I want more…I go out there with a lot of focus, determination, purpose, self compassion and manifest the hell out of it."
She Loves Herself
In this Instagram post, Rouass talked about the importance of self-love. She shared some of her tips for reaching self-love in the caption. "Self-compassion…Hmm, now that's a tough one. Learning to change the internal dialogue you have with yourself is a hard hack to learn but I can show you how. Through affirmations, meditation and grasping the true meaning and power of self compassion, you can learn to understand yourself better, be kinder to yourself and start believing that being compassionate to yourself is not contingent on your successes alone."
She Worked With A Nutritionist
In an interview, Rouass talked about how she lost weight after having a baby. She says that she sought help from a nutritionist to change her diet. "I know people may have looked at me and thought I was slim, but I didn't feel good about myself and wanted that kick start," Rouass says. "That's when I decided to turn to my friend Claire Goulding, who was a consultant for The 1:1 Diet. I liked the fact the products contain so many nutrients and minerals. I managed to lose just over a stone and I can really notice the difference – even my fingers have slimmed down."
She Cooks
Rouass shared some of her favorite meals to the DailyMail. She says that she likes to cook a lot of meals with her family. "I want my daughter to grow up with memories of home-cooked meals," she explains. "Just as I did as one of seven children by Moroccan parents. And, as a single parent, it's even more important for me to build on those family traditions, so I always cook dinner for us."
