Rapper GloRilla is joining the beautiful people at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California. Alcohol Cleanse

GloRilla took part in a 60-day cleanse where she didn't drink any alcohol. Taking a break from drinking can be beneficial for health, experts say. "Addiction sneaks up on you," says UC Davis Health patient navigator and substance abuse counselor Tommie Trevino. "When someone starts questioning whether they have a problem, I suggest they abstain for 30 days. I say, 'If you can't stop for 30 days, why not?' Then we may need to reevaluate the person's relationship with alcohol."

Exercise Every Day

GloRilla says part of her cleanse was making time every day to exercise. She also avoided going to any clubs, and says it was a highly rewarding experience. "We had to exercise Monday-Friday for an hour and drink water," she says

Strict Boundaries

GloRilla protects herself by enforcing strict boundaries. "I don't got a problem cutting people off, and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But I have no problem cutting people off once I see what type of stuff they be on," she says. "They just got to go. Because it ain't no room for that no more."

Seasoned Salt and Hot Sauce

GloRilla refuses to travel without salt and hot sauce, as she finds food outside of her hometown of Memphis unappetizing. "They food don't got nothing," she says. "They don't put seasoning in their food. I got to have seasoned food. I hate bland food."

Strong Work Ethic

GloRilla has a strong work ethic, and stays focused on her goals. "People don't understand you actually got to put in the work," she says. "It don't happen overnight. It looks like it happened overnight for me because a lot of people didn't know me, but people from Memphis, they know I've been rapping, I've been doing this. I've been actually putting in the work to be here."
