Shanvi revealed to Times of India how she stays fit. "Gym workout and eat healthy," she said, revealing that she hits the gym five days a week. Her favorite workout? "Any workout targeting my legs." She also revealed that her best body feature is her glutes "if I am regular at my workout session."
She Boxes and Does Kick Boxing
Shanvi also enjoys boxing and kickboxing, regularly sharing photos and videos of her workouts. "Kicking a** since forever!" she captioned a recent post. "This kind of boxing has many health benefits, because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's hospital tells Harvard Health."You're swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you're in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you're strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs."
She Does Yoga
Shanvi also does yoga. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."
She Runs
Shanvi also runs. "Why only JOG?! When you can _ _ _ _ !!!!" she captioned a post. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
