Out-Training Her Sweet Tooth

Squerciati loves training with weights at the gym. "I really love going to the gym because I have a ginormous sweet addiction," she says. "I have to keep that in check. I don't like training lightly, I like to train hard and put all my body into it. I want to lift heavy weights. I want to do what footballers do. I go to Performance Training Systems, which a couple other cast members go to. It's an amazing training place."

Indoor Rock Climbing

Squerciati enjoys indoor rock climbing, which is a great full-body workout that's also fun. "Climbing + making friends at @brooklynboulders!" she captioned an Instagram picture of herself climbing a wall. "Everyone has been so friendly and helpful as I learn to climb. A big THANK YOU to my new climbing community!"

Weight Training

Squerciati uses weights as part of her workouts. "Strength training, in particular, has bone benefits beyond those offered by aerobic weight-bearing exercise," says Harvard Health. "It targets bones of the hips, spine, and wrists, which are the sites most likely to fracture."

Work-Life Balance

Squerciati tries to balance her work life with being a mother. "It's the balance that most working moms deal with," she says. "It's a really hard dance to work and be a parent. There's a couple of times where I show up late to work and [Sergeant] Voight [Jason Beghe] shoots me a look. It's just a matter of doing everything 80 percent well. I don't think — since I'm a mom — I get everything 100 percent right. I'm late. I sometimes have food at the bottom of my bag, like apple sauce on everything. You do the best you can."

Drugstore Cleanser

Squerciati uses basic drugstore products to cleanse her skin. "To clean my face, I always use Cetaphil," she says. "I've tried pricey face-washes and I always get burned. Not literally, but I end up breaking out. So, I'm a die hard $10 Cetaphil girl. To take makeup off, I use a wipe first, though. I was at Whole Foods recently, they had these wipes for $3.95 called Alba Botanica Hawaiian at the checkout counter. It smells like I'm rubbing pineapple on my face and I like it."
