La La Anthony Shares Swimsuit Video of "October Vibes"
October is swimsuit season for La La Anthony. In a new social media post the reality star shows off her amazing curves in a variety of bathing suits, modeling various styles for her fans. "October vibes," she captioned the Instagram video. "Damn ma," commented a follower. "One of the most beautiful women on this planet," added another. How does the 41-year-old keep herself looking forever young? Celebwell rounded up her top health habits.
Strength and Weight Training
La La trains with Kirk Meyers, founder of The Dogpound, on a regular basis. "I come here almost every single day and Kirk, the owner, has become one of my closest friends and a real inspiration in my life for getting myself together and focusing on myself," she told E! "I definitely have lost weight. I definitely feel better about myself, more toned, have more energy."
Boxing and Cycling
"I love boxing as well, I love doing things outdoors … I still love my bike because it's here at the house, so anytime I get up and I want to just get 30 minutes in or 45 minutes in and I can do that," La La added to People. "I positioned my bike outside my bedroom door because I want to walk past it every single day."
Eating Consistently
"With looking right, it's mostly about your eating," La La told HollywoodLife about the importance of a healthy diet. "And, I feel like a lot of us struggle with that. I'm trying to stay consistent in making better choices when it comes to food. I can't say I'm always great at it, but I try to keep that in mind. You can't work your a-s off in the gym and then just throw it all away by eating horrible."
Hydration
"I'm always staying hydrated," La La told HollywoodLife. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
Loving Yourself
La La also stresses the importance of self-love. "My dad has always said that you have to love yourself from the inside. I used to be like, 'Yeah, yeah, OK.' But now I know it's a really powerful statement. If you walk into a room with confidence, other people feed off that energy. That confidence starts from the inside, and people see it from the outside," she told Health.
Meditation
"Once you start doing it, you realize that you have to find ways to recharge and rejuvenate—even if it's just taking five minutes to meditate," she told Health in April 2021 about the zen practice that helps her maintain her mental health. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:
- "Building skills to manage your stress
- Increasing self-awareness
- Focusing on the present
- Reducing negative emotions
- Increasing imagination and creativity
- Increasing patience and tolerance
- Lowering resting heart rate
- Lowering resting blood pressure
- Improving sleep quality"
