Meghan Markle on 'Suits' Comeback & The One Item She Kept From the Set
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, will always be remembered as Rachel Zane, our favorite paralegal turned lawyer on the original Suits series. Fans were excited to see Zane marry attorney (well, not really) Mike Ross, then sad to learn they were leaving to begin a new chapter in Seattle, Washington.
Meghan Markle Shares Her Thoughts on Suits LA
It's likely bittersweet for cast members and diehard fans to see the series move to LA without the original New York office family. However, viewers are excited to see appearances from Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and "at least one other original Suits character," according to creator Aaron Korsh in an interview with TVLine.
The Item Markle Kept From Set
There's one thing we're guessing won't be making an appearance in the new LA law firm—and it happens to be an iconic piece of apparel.
In a March 2025 interview with PEOPLE, Markle shared, "I still have the pencil skirt from the first episode! That's the one thing I kept." After all, it was Zane's statement look—and she wore it well!
Markle also told the outlet she looks forward to streaming Suits LA on Peacock: "I love that it gets a new breath of fresh air."
Markle's Latest On-Screen Venture, With Love, Meghan

Markle posted a preview of the show on Instagram in January that features gorgeous fresh flowers, fun cake decorating, donut making, bruschetta marinating, bee keeping, bouquet arranging, and so much more. The video is captioned, "I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it."
The Duchess of Sussex says in the clip, "I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it; surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them … This is about connecting with friends, making new friends, and just learning … love is in the details."
