Yoga has been a big part of her life, benefiting her mental and physical health. “I realised that I had pursued strength and stamina at the expense of mobility, so I’m incorporating things I haven’t done in so long, like yoga. I have to back up to go forward,” HELLO! shared that she said.

Jennifer truly enjoys creating beautiful, colorful, healthy salads. Especially when the veggies come straight from her garden! “#PretendCookingShow: Crunchy Salad. 🥗☀️ Today I made for you a salad outside in my garden…because I can,” she said. Using a cordless system from KitchenAid, she said “enjoy this salad without ever setting foot inside,” so she’s also spending more time outdoors.

Whether she’s enjoying time outdoors, in the gym, or in her home gym, she prioritizes working out and staying active. Even the healthiest individuals and those who prioritize their wellness routine need to be pumped up once in a while, like Jennifer as she shares with her go to song to get motivated in the gym on Instagram.

She knows the importance of staying active, even connecting it to fighting for a cause that she stands behind. “I have and, God willing, will continue to donate to Save the Children. This moment in time feels like a larger call to action is needed. So I am running (not my best or favorite activity, I’m a 🐢 🦥 🐌) one mile a day, no matter what, for the next 67 days,” she said. “Run, walk, bike, wheel, skateboard, crawl for kids. Join me for one mile or for 67—any time between now and June 22nd—tag us at #67Strong4Kids and we’ll keep each other going.”

Being healthy can be fun

While promoting healthy snacking, she can have fun with activity, hula hooping and being silly. Just another great way to get some movement and activity in! “@onceuponafarm @savethechildren and @mattel together are a good time! I had so much fun celebrating play, summer reading, and healthy snacking with these amazing kids! (And yes, hula hooping and limbo are top of my to do list for the summer) ♥️ #PlayItForward #MakeSummerFair,” she said.
