Want to get into shape like cover model Christie Brinkley? Let's check out her go-to fitness habits, along with the 20-minute Peloton workout that keeps the celeb tone and sculpted at 71.
Christie Brinkley Loves Peloton Workouts—and Cycling in General
Christie enjoys cycling—especially Peloton classes.
"When I'm in a place where I can get on a bicycle and just go for a long ride, I love doing that, but I also like to jump on a Peloton or to take a spin class of some sort," she shared with PEOPLE. "I do a 20- or a 30-minute class several days a week, and then I'll do some of the floor exercises and arm and core [the other days]."
According to Peloton, not only is an indoor cycling session convenient and productive, but it's also a spectacular mood booster, stress reliever, and calorie burner. Pedaling at a moderate speed for 30 minutes can torch approximately 252 calories for a 155-pound individual and 294 calories for a 185-pound individual, while bicycling at a vigorous pace can burn around 315 calories for a 125-pound individual and 441 calories for a 185-pound person, Harvard Health Publishing reports.
In addition to cycling indoors, Christie takes her love for the exercise outdoors. In one Instagram post, Christie snapped a selfie with her beach cruiser on the sand. She captioned it, "Sunset bike and stroll. PS if you don't ride the bike it will rust. Same thing with your body! You've got to move it ! Move it!" In another post, Christie cruises along a lush, tropical path on her cruiser, captioning it, "This is my kind of exercise ! It's got to be fun! I could ride all day!"

She Moves Her Arms When Exercising
Christie has impressive arms, and she works hard to keep them in shape.
"When I was doing [the musical] Chicago I noticed that the second you do any activity and you add your arms as though you're dancing, it revs you up," she explained to The Cut. "Whether it's walking down the beach and moving your arms like you're swimming, or picking up rocks and walking with them, you really start sweating and breathing heavily. The second you try to adjust those teeny changes, they make a huge difference."

She Makes Time for Fitness in Her Busy Schedule
With keeping a busy schedule, Christie doesn't always have time for long gym sessions. Some days call for multi-tasking. Christie shared how she squeezes in a sweat session during her interview with The Cut.
"Some days the only thing I can get in is a seven-minute run on the Total Gym. Then while I'm brushing my teeth, I'm doing leg lifts. When I'm drying my hair, I do all kinds of squats," she said.
