The Queen's Gabmit's Anya Taylor-Joy captivated us in her chess plays—and just wait until you hear about her exercise routine. It's no secret that Anya stuns on every red carpet she graces. The actress never fails to look amazing in all of the roles she plays, leaving many fans wondering her workout secrets. We have a few of them, including the workout combo that keeps Anya Taylor-Joy in top shape.

Anya Taylor-Joy Loves To Dance, Kickbox, and Do Pilates

The workout combo that really works for Anya Taylor-Joy to keep her body fit and trim? Dancing, kickboxing, and Pilates.

"I used to be a ballet dancer," Anya told Harper's Bazaar. "I haven't danced properly now for a couple of years, but I do one exercise class and immediately my poise comes back, and my muscles remember. I always dance first thing in the morning, silly crazy dancing. I do it to at least three songs, because it sets me up for the day."

Dancing is a great form of cardio that provides a wealth of benefits, such as enhancing bone and muscle strength, improving flexibility and balance, and decreasing the risk of osteoporosis, according to The Nation's Health. It's also great for your brain, lungs, and heart. Some forms of dance can also boost the strength of your core muscles, including your stomach, thighs, and glutes.

Another form of exercise Anya swears by is kickboxing. To get in a dose of high-intensity interval training, kickboxing is a great choice. Research shows that individuals who do kickboxing can experience significant improvements in aerobic power, upper-body muscle power, flexibility, agility, and speed. Kickboxing is also a stellar calorie burner.

Last but not least, Pilates classes are structured to kick up endurance, muscle strength, and flexibility, in addition to improving balance and posture.

"I just did my first Pilates reformer class and loved it," Anya shared in 2019. "So I'm trying to find a way of incorporating exercise more into my routine simply because you have to be strong to do this job."

Hence, the three forms of exercise combined make a total powerhouse. Clearly, Anya Taylor-Joy is a prime example.

Despite the celeb's busy schedule, she always prioritizes her fitness and wellness regimen.

"If you're not taking care of yourself, you are not going to make it. It's too demanding on you physically—you need that strength. But also, I just have too much energy and it is better for me to put it into something like boxing than to be let loose into the world with it," she said.
