Twilight star Ashley Greene knows it can be hard to get motivated for a workout—but she does it anyway. Greene, 37, shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a white t-shirt, doing a kettlebell workout at the gym. “Didn’t feel 100 today but still got it in,” reads the text over her Instagram story. Greene has detailed her fitness journey since welcoming daughter Kingsley in September 2022—here’s how the actress prioritizes her health and wellness.

1. Yoga and Zumba


Greene changes up her workouts to avoid boredom and fitness plateaus. “I started doing CorePower Yoga a lot because I feel like I'm getting all these little aches and pains if I'm not paying attention to stretching,” she told Parade. “I like high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and for that I do STRONG by Zumba, which is right up my alley. I don't generally go into the classes, but I download them. There's a 60-minute one, there's a 20-minute one and there are some shorter ones too. And it’s impossible for me to get a butt, but they have one geared towards that so I’ve started doing that one.”

2. Clean Beauty

Greene loves clean beauty products. “Basically, I try to find things that are going to be clean and aren’t going to include anything that doesn’t need to be in there, and I love Beauty Counter for that reason,” she told New York Magazine. “Each one of these oils serves a different purpose.”

3. Postpartum Fitness

Greene is embracing her postpartum figure. “I am dedicated to putting in the work to rebuild a strong base,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I am also dedicated to giving myself grace and remaining eternally grateful for the beautiful life my body graciously helped me create and nurture. I don't think my body will ever be quite ‘the same’ and I'm learning to be ok with that.”

4. Mental Health Partnership

Greene partnered with mental wellbeing platform Aura Health as mental health is a cause close to her heart. "I have always tried to be honest and vulnerable to help others not feel so alone, and this partnership with Aura Health is an example of that in its purest form,” she said in a press release. “Opening up about my mental health journey was daunting but I am so proud to share my story on Aura and encourage others to care for their mental health with the help of the many features Aura Health has to offer.”

5. HIIT Me Up

HIIT is Greene’s favorite workout. “What I love about HIIT is the fact that you can use your own body weight, which really works for me versus trying to lift a thousand pounds,” she told Parade. “Whenever I work out with my body weight, I find that I can track how strong I'm becoming and I'm able to do things later in the week that I maybe wasn't able to in the beginning of the week. So for me, that's just a really fun thing to be able to track.”

"For me, I was diagnosed with Lyme earlier this year, and I definitely lost a couple of LBs," she said in a video chat with model Hunter McGrady for Yahoo Life. “And people's reaction of like, 'You're losing weight,' you know, like they're congratulating you. And I'm like, it's really just about my health. I don't know if I lose or gain weight."

If I’m honest, I lost a little too much weight after my divorce, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the number I saw. But that’s an unhealthy way to look at it. It should never be about the number. It should be about how you feel,” she explained. “I have been actively becoming strong again for me. I look at this pic now and I’m proud of myself for the hard work and commitment to loving myself. This body made two beautiful humans. I’m proud of my body." In a new social media post the Selling Sunset star shows off her amazing body-after-baby and reveals the program she followed to get back into shape the healthy way. “Let’s talk about my postpartum body….” she started the Instagram caption. 1. Her Postpartum Workout Journey “Wasn’t Easy”

Heather starts by explaining that her postpartum workout journey “definitely wasn’t ‘easy’ and didn’t go as expected,” she writes. “I thought I was going to bounce back within 9 weeks!! HUGE LOL but the reality of being a mom to a newborn, breastfeeding, 2 kids, balancing my hormones, my work, my marriage and my life set in.”

2. She Found a New Way to Workout at Home with Paulina Hefferan

She reveals that she “didn’t want to leave the house and leave Tristan to workout,” so she knew she needed to change the way she worked out and what fit for her “new” life. “It was hard guys, I felt weak, old & not super motivated. I had never been someone who lifted weights or did at-home workouts until I met @paulinastein. It was a complete change for me but I lost 25 pounds, leaned out & got my strength back while working out with Paulina.” She adds that the workouts are “accessible and affordable.”

3. She Lost 25 Pounds

“Believe it or not, you guys, I lost 25 pounds postpartum and I did it straight from my living room using two 10 pound dumbbells, a mat, sometimes some ankle weights, sometimes some bands,” she continues in the video.

4. Paulina Helped Her Feel “Really Comfortable”

“Transforming your body after a baby or any time in your life is not easy. It takes a lot of discipline. It takes a lot of structure. It takes someone pushing you Sometimes, especially if you're like me. After I had Tristan, I thought, okay, I'll be back at the gym. I'll be back in hot yoga. I'm going to get my body back in nine weeks. Reality set in, and that did not happen. I don't think I really started working out until I met Paulina. She made me just feel really comfortable. She made me feel like this is a slow journey. This is my journey. I don't need to compare myself to anyone else,” she says.

5. She Worked Out While Tristan Was Napping and Even with Him

She adds that she was able to get the exercises in, even with her baby, because Paulina is “also a mom,” and the fact that I can do it from my home, I can incorporate Tristan, I can do it while he's napping, made me say yes and made me feel like, you know what? I can do this. Working out with her changed my life. I am so proud of myself.”

6. Her Body Was “Back” After Four Months

“I started really noticing that, wow, my body is back around eight and a half months postpartum, and I had started working out with Paulina when I was about four and a half months postpartum. Now that she has this app on days, I can't work out with her when I'm traveling, I can use her app, could work alongside with her, so it really makes you want to do it because she's doing it with you,” she concludes.

7. Walking and Weight Lifting

1. She Works Out At Night

Baker shares her workout secrets with Muscle and Fitness. She says that she makes sure to get workouts in. Even if she’s doing so late at night. “I’m, admittedly, a very late-night workout girl,” shares Baker. “I’m at the gym, usually at 10pm, finishing up around 11.30pm or midnight. That’s just how it works for me now because that’s the only time I can fit in. When I’m home, in a typical day, I wake up, go to the dental office and I’m there sometimes until 7pm, come home, eat really quick, say hello to my boyfriend (who just happens to be fellow AEW superstar; Adam Cole then I go to the gym.”

2. She Does Pilates

Baker is a big fan of Pilates. “I’m really big on Pilates too,” she said to Muscle and Fitness. “It’s something I have got way better at in the last year or so. I actually work with a stretch therapist twice a week just to help with my flexibility because I’ve had my fair share of injuries. I think one thing that is really important for your body is mobility.”

3. She Believes In Moderation

Baker shared her diet in her Muscle and Fitness interview. She says that she believes in moderation. “If there’s a piece of cake in front of me, or sweets, I will definitely eat those sweets. I’m not going to torture myself with food because I don’t think food should be used as punishment or reward. If I want to eat something I will, but at the same time, I like to stay healthy, I like the healthy foods.”

4. She Works Her Entire Body

When it comes to fitness, Baker likes to focus on one body part at a time. “At least four days a week, I’m in the gym, picking a body part, whether it’s legs or glutes or arms, shoulders,” she explained to Muscle and Fitness. “That’s pretty standard. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel. I’m a big, big advocate on incline walking for my cardio. I broke my leg, I have bad knees, so running just does not work for me anymore, so I definitely love the incline walking and the stair master and, again, any type of HIIT fitness class, like F45.”

5. She Went For Her Goals

Baker talked about balancing her wrestling career with dental school with UpRoxx. She says that she wanted to go after her dreams. “It was such a hard time to balance the two of them that I think, deep down, in my gut, if I didn’t think that I had what it takes to be successful with both of them, I wouldn’t have pursued them both. So in a way I think I knew I could do it the whole time. But of course you doubt yourself, of course you hope and pray that you’re going to get to wrestle on TV, or get to the end of dental school and get the DMD after your name. So there are kind of multi-answers to that question.

While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”
