Brooke Burke has been a regular fixture on TV for years and proves that healthy lifestyle choices pay off. The 52-year-old famously hosted E's! Wild On series over 20 years ago and hasn't aged. Burke looked amazing in a recent video posted of her wearing hot pink workout pants and a black sports bra and shared fun clips from her weekend. "Weekend recap," she wrote. "BOOTY BURN next level & cheating just a little road-trip to the #emfest so much fun teaching class on the beach! A day of beauty, wellness & body sculpting. 10k squats!" The mom of four teaches fitness classes, hosts yoga retreats, and has her own app, Brooke Burke Body. The former Dancing With the Stars co-host attributes her eating habits and wellness journey to defying age and we take closer at her diet and workout regime.

1. She Does Intermittent Fasting

Burke follows the 16:8 intermittent fasting practice She fasts for 16 hours a day and told Sports Illustrated how much it's worked for her. "I've been intermittent fasting for years and it's been a game-changer for me, not only digestively, but it's also the most convenient way of living I've experienced," She told Women's Health. "I make it very simple and basically eat in an eight-hour window."

2. She Follows the Mediterranean Diet

Burke follows what's considered to be the healthiest diet in the world according to U.S. News & World Report--the Mediterranean diet. She told SI, "I like to follow a Mediterranean-inspired diet with lean meats, fish, and lots of vegetables. My daily diet is rich in olive oil, avocados, olives, macadamia nuts, and a morning smoothie packed with good fat and collagen proteins."

3. She Stays Hydrated

Another way Burke stays healthy and youthful is by staying hydrated. "I drink a lot of water, a lot of green tea, and a lot of lemon water; no sugary drinks," she told Women's Health. "I probably drink my body weight in water every day."

4. She Gets Enough Sleep

Quality sleep is a vital part of our overall well-being and weight goals. Burke told SI, "Get your Zs. A good night’s sleep reduces stress, improves metabolism, and gives you the energy to live a vigorous and healthy life.”

5. She Doesn't Snack Often

Burke isn't typically a big snacker, but if she does need something to munch on, she'll have nuts. "I probably eat two meals a day and I'll only snack if I need it," she told Women's Health. "I'll do raw macadamia nuts or almonds—and walnuts are really good," she said. "I also just discovered that Brazilian nuts are very anti-inflammatory, so those are great, too."

6. She's Learned How to Fuel Her Body with Nutrition

While Burke lives a healthy lifestyle, she didn't always know how to make the best nutritional choices. “In my 20s, I did not know how to fuel and feed my body," she told SI. "I spent too much time weighing food, working my body for endless hours in the gym, and making sacrifices that were not enjoyable. I wish I would’ve known about good fats. And how to fuel my brain and body with mindful nutrition. I have more delicious food freedom today."

7. She Knows How to Work Out Smarter for a Shorter Period of Time

Burke also shared with Si that she doesn't need to spend hours in the gym because she's learned how to tone up with certain moves. "I spend less time sculpting my body now than I did in my 20s because I know how to target, tone, use compound moves, and hit all the trouble areas to get the most out of a shorter workout," she said. "For example, the booty burn on Brooke Burke Body is designed for the female body to tone, lift and sculpt the glutes."

1. She Exercises

What is Brooke’s favorite workout? “Anything that makes me sweat! When I've completed an intense workout session and I leave the gym puffing and sweating - I feel like I've got somewhere,” she told Buro. She particularly enjoys HIIT workouts. “I love F45 so if I have a big shoot I might throw in an extra class if I can!

2. Her Diet Is Healthy

Brooke dished about her diet to Husskie. “For breakfast either toast, eggs and avo or coconut yoghurt, muesli and berries or a smoothie. Lunch is either tuna on a cracker, some protein and salad, or a yummy roll. Dinner I like to mix it up – we love salmon and veggies but I cook lots of different things: pho, curry, stir frys, healthy schnitzels etc.” she said.

3. Chocolate Is Her Guilty Pleasure

What is Brooke’s cheat food? “One hundred percent, without a doubt chocolate,” she told Buro. “I am a chocolate lover and always have been. I could eat it for breakfast haha! (but seriously). In my opinion everything in moderation is fine and I never deprive myself of things that I love. If I feel like chocolate, I'll have some, just in moderation of course!”

4. She Mixes Up Workouts

What is Brooke’s number one exercise tip? Mix up your workouts. “Don't do the same thing every day. Find something you actually enjoy doing. If you hate running and you set your alarm for 5am to go for a 5k run, you'll most likely snooze and not want to get up. Do things that you enjoy and will make you excited to get up and get moving. For me I love F45, when my alarm goes off in the morning I look forward to getting up and going to class!” she told Buro.

5. She Makes Fitness a Priority

Brooke makes exercise a priority. “I work out four to five days a week for about 30 to 50 minutes,” she told Women’s Health. She even works out when she is on the road. “When I travel, I’ll maybe do a 10-minute workout in my hotel room to get my body moving; or a two-minute plank, a couple of push-ups and even just stretches. I try to take a skipping rope and also booty bands in my suitcase, which are super light and easy to transport,” she added.

6. She Also Loves Pilates

Brooke has another favorite workout. “I really love pilates; it’s sort of like meditation for me – my time to refresh my mind, re-energize, switch off and put my focus on being in the moment,” she added to Women’s Health.

Brooke relies on diets to lose weight. “I feel great at this weight, but I’ve started sticking to a diet again,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’m trying hard to get down even more. You need to keep to the old-school bodybuilder diet of eggs, fish, chicken, meat and broccoli.”

3. She Loves Her Body

Brooke is happy with her body, no matter the shape or size. “I do. I love my body,” she told OK! “Thick or not, I’m firm. I don’t have cellulite. I’m happy with how I am. People should know, I’m only doing the diet for the entertainment business. It’s not really what you’re supposed to look like in real life.”

4. She Does Yoga

Brooke is a fan of yoga – even goat yoga. Still can’t get over this absolutely incredible experience we had yesterday with little baby goats! So good for the soul! #goatyoga #fun #fit #healthy,” she captioned this photo. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

5. She Eats Healthy

Brooke has a healthy but balanced approach to nutrition. “I eat whenever my body tells me I need something, but I try not to eat too late at night. If I do, no carbs,” she told Shed Your Weight. She eats small meals and healthy snacks including almonds, walnuts, grapes, fruit, salad, tuna with low-fat mayo, LaraBar energy bar, organic mac and cheese, and low carb vanilla crackers.

Brooke Burke is giving fans and followers a glimpse at her picture-perfect morning rituals, from morning smoothies to exercise sessions. Burke, 52, shared a reel of how she starts her day, including a snippet of her wearing yellow workout gear, doing a sunkissed mat workout outdoors. “Morning Rituals. Rise with the sun, hydrate with full 🍋 water, journal, meditate, grind my coffee beans + froth my full cream (made with love ❤️) make my bed with intention of beginning my day with a completed task, exercise!!!! Yes, of course there is the work|life balance in between all of these tasks. I kiss my fiancé, and tell him that I love him, Make love 🥰, prepare my son's school lunch, make him a smoothie to go, drive him to school, check in with my daughter, The list is long, but my priorities are in order. Yep, make your bed!!!! The way you begin sets the tone for your day,” she captioned the post.

1. Devoted Yogi

Burke is passionate about the benefits of regular yoga sessions. “Yoga is an incredible way to strengthen and support your mind‑body-spirit connection,” she writes on her blog. “The combination of breath, movement, and mindfulness is especially powerful. Not only does it help you increase your flexibility, core strength, balance and mobility, studies have even shown physical improvements in blood pressure, heart disease, digestion and sleep. And that’s in addition to psychological improvements in both stress management and symptoms of depression.”

2. Meal Prepping For the Week

Burke is a big fan of meal prepping and having healthy food on hand at all times. “I think most of us understand the basics of eating a healthy diet,” she writes on her blog. “Obviously, a mix of lean meats, fish, and fresh vegetables and fruits are excellent choices, while simple carbs, saturated fats, and processed foods should be kept to a minimum. Make sure you keep plenty of healthy options on hand like almonds, crunchy veggie sticks, low carb / high fiber fruits, green tea, etc.”

3. Healthy Breakfast After Fasting

Overnight,Oats,,Chia,Pudding,With,Fresh,Strawberry,,Banana,And,ChiaShutterstock

Burke fasts until 11 a.m. and then enjoys a healthy breakfast. “Overnight oats are a heart‑healthy breakfast option filled with fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals,” she writes on her blog. “Of course, I personally love to start the day with a yummy and satisfying breakfast smoothie. They are fast and easy, plant-based (fruits, veggies, and/or nuts), nutrient dense, and wonderfully hydrating. And they don’t leave me feeling bloated.”

4. Advocate For Women’s Health

Burke’s thyroid cancer diagnosis in 2012 resulted in a new appreciation for her body. Fitness was always a big part of my life,” she told Jewish Life Now. “I think I have a much better and much clearer understanding of my body today than I did back then. Being diagnosed with thyroid cancer segued me into being an advocate for women’s health, and it was really because of the process of being diagnosed during a yearly physical. It gave me an understanding of the value of medical knowledge and kind of fighting for that and telling my story to inspire and to help many other people. It was about understanding the value of being a great patient and understanding the medical possibilities that we have today.

5. Body Positivity

Burke believes many different body shapes can still be healthy. “I love body confidence and it’s super important when raising children,” she told Jewish Life Now. “With my daughters, I’m so careful with my words. I’m a size two, so take that off the table and who cares what size we are and how much we weigh. I think it’s about finding your feel-good and feeling beautiful at different stages of your life, and with every size. I don’t like to use numbers and sizes, and what you weigh on a scale anymore. We’re talking about strength, body confidence and I want women to tap into their self-love space and their own inner dialogue, and to find their own self-confidence.”

Brooke Burke is sharing all her diet and fitness secrets – in her swimsuit. The model and actress shows off her amazing body in a gingham bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts, teasing a new interview where she reveals her top tips for diet and fitness. “Just pure gratitude + a few summer tips to keep you inspired & rewored. Story link in my bio. Thx @dailymail for sharing our 21 Day Challenge,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Brooke Burke stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Intermittent Fasting

Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation "Big Fighters, Big Cause" Charity Boxing NightJon Kopaloff/Getty Images

Brooke is a proponent of intermittent fasting, eating during an eight-hour window and then not eating for the remaining 16 hours in a day. “It’s a simple yet powerful concept: confine eating to an 8-hour window and fast for the remaining 16 hours of the day,” she told DailyMail.com. “For example, if you eat dinner at 7 pm, your next meal will be at 11:00 am the next morning. This timing cycle essentially tricks your body into burning stored fat. During a ‘fasted state’ – the hours when your body is not consuming or digesting any food – your body doesn’t have a recently consumed meal to use as energy, so it pulls energy from the fat stored in your body instead. Intermittent fasting trains your body to consume food more efficiently and to burn fat as fuel. Fasting can leave you feeling hungry or fatigued, but by bridging the time with your regular sleep cycle, it is much easier to embrace.”

2. She Has “Mindful Mondays”

Brooke practices “Mindful Mondays,” she told the publication. “Start each week by taking time – before your schedule gets busy – to calm and cleanse your mind as well as your body. Whether you practice yoga, meditation, or even simple breathwork, the important thing is that you find a way to center yourself, focus your intentions, and make conscious choices about the week ahead.”

3. She Goes “Green”

GettyImages-1389233635Alex Goodlett/Getty Images

“Mondays are the perfect days to “Go Green” with fresh, delicious, and nutritious veggies and fruits,” Brooke added. “Check out your local farmer’s market or organic food store and stock up. 'Here are just a few examples of mostly plant-based meals that are simple, fresh, and light. There’s no reason to go hungry when you fuel your body with crunchy vegetables, healthy soups, hot green tea, and plenty of water. One of my favorite meals is a junks salad.”

4. She Meditates

Another healthy habit of Brooke’s? “A daily meditation practice. Trust me on this one, the mind and body benefits are incredible,” she told Daily Mail. “Meditation is the practice of training the mind in order to induce a state of relaxation, focus, and inner peace. A daily meditation practice helps control our thoughts, emotions and inner dialogue to positively retrain our brain and elevate our well-being. “We meditate, not to find peace, but to meet reality. The practice of meditation can take many forms, including silence, prayer, visualization, and breathing exercises. The main goal of meditation is to stay present and focused on the current moment, rather than dwelling on past experiences or worrying about the future.” She also suggests guided meditations. “Through this daily commitment, you will develop a deeper sense of personal awareness and spiritual connection. In the space of stillness, you will find your strength. Make meditation a habit. Forming new habits is easier than we think. We actually do it all the time. Perhaps the reason we so easily accommodate change for others, but not ourselves, is because we view self-care as optional. That’s where we need to shift our mindset. Meditation helps decrease stress, control anxiety, and improve sleep. It helps lengthen attention span, reduce age-related memory loss, and promote emotional health. It can even help manage pain, lower blood pressure, and support recovery. Most importantly, meditation fosters kindness. And the world can always use more kindness!”

5. She Recommends Her 21-Day Fitness Challenge

Brooke strongly suggests committing to a 21-day program. “'We can reshape our bodies and reconnect with our authentic ourselves. We can fold fitness into our daily routine and discover the power of nutritious (and delicious) food. And we can embrace mindful meditation that will help us stay centered and focused,” she said. The new 21-Day Fitness Challenge is the ideal program to reach your summer health and wellness goals, focusing on both fitness and mindfulness. It is about new beginnings and letting go of old patterns.”

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones

This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Improving your sense of balance

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
