In recent years, GLP-1 injections— like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, and more—have been used to help people lose weight. The medications were originally intended to treat diabetes. However, their appetite-suppressing nature has also helped individuals manage their overeating habits. Now, millions of Americans, including celebrities, are on some form of injectable weight-loss drugs.

Although the side effects can be intense, plenty of stars have lauded the results of taking a GLP-1 amid their wellness journeys. Here are 10 celebrities who have taken weight-loss drugs to slim down.

1. Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer, 43, is another celebrity who has been transparent about her use of a GLP-1 medication for weight loss.

In a March 2025 Instagram video, the Life & Beth star shared that although she tried Wegovy three years ago but stopped because of the side effects, she has since found a weight-loss drug that she tolerates well.

"Mounjaro's been great," the actress revealed. "…I'm having a really good experience with it, and I wanted to keep it real with you about that."

In his comedy special The Skinny, the comedian poked fun at taking the GLP-1 injection.

"These people will come up to me and accuse me of being on an appetite suppressant. They're like, 'You're on Ozempic! Admit it, you're on Ozempic!' And I'm not, all right?" he said. "I'm on a different one. I'm on Mounjaro, which is better, right? 'Cause it sounds like an Italian restaurant."

She later stopped the drug, telling the Daily Mail, "I feel really great. I don't know what everyone else's experience with it is, but I never gained any weight back."
