Demi Moore in Workout Gear is in "Post Oscars Pilaf Recovery Mode!"

Here is everything the actress does to stay forever young.

Demi Moore is recovering from the Oscars – in her tracksuit. In a new social media post the 61-year-old actress shows off her forever young figure in workout clothes the morning after the big ceremony. "Post Oscars Pilaf recovery mode!" she captioned the post, posing with her little pooch Pilaf. How does the star manage to look half her age? Here is everything you need to know about her approach to longevity.

1

Healthy Diet

Demi priotizes a healthy diet, she told CNN. This includes eating healthy fruit. "Freshly cut pineapple, cold," she said when asked about her favorite snack. "It's refreshing, deliciously sweet and hydrating and makes me feel like I'm on vacation."

No Drastic Measure

Demi used to take drastic measures to be in shape, but not anymore. "I couldn't stop exercising…I would be on display again, and all I could think about was my body, my body, my body…I doubled down on my already over-the-top exercise routine. I cut out carbs, I ran and I biked and I worked out on every machine imaginable," she wrote in her 2019 autobiography, Inside Out. She shifted her priorities after G.I. Jane. "I had reached my limit," she said. "When I got home to Idaho, I had an epiphany in the shower one day: I just need to be my natural size."

Moore uses a foam roller. "As someone who loves to stay active, it's so essential to show my muscles some love before and after exercise," she told CNN about her foam roller, adding that "it's made for travel and so easy to take with me when I'm on the move!"

Mirror Workouts

Moore works out at home with The Mirror, a virtual workout platform owned by Lululemon. She has shared videos of herself getting in a workout class via the tool. In this Instagram video, she does planks, plie squats, and stretches.

5

Meditation

Moore meditates with the help of Justin Michael Williams' "Intention Setting" on the Insight Timer app. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Reducing negative emotions
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality

Gut Health

Moore told CNN that "prioritizing care for my mind, body and spirit starting from the inside out, is key and gut health is a big part of this. She takes watermelon mint digestive tablets created by Wonderbelly, a gut antacid, that is a "known and needed product on the most clean level."

7

Living with Intention

"For me, well-being is a choice of living consciously with intention, being mindful and making choices that are memorable and meaningful," Moore told CNN. "It isn't something I fit into my lifestyle; it's just how I live my life."
