The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne McCann puts the hard work in when it comes to her fitness routine. McCann, 33, shared a video of herself wearing leggings and a blue sports bra, using weights and resistance equipment at the gym. “Visualize your higher self… And start showing up as HER! Since the beginning of Jan, I’ve had a goal in my mind & that’s to create a body that I enjoy living in. Don’t get me wrong, self work, development and bettering yourself isn’t linear. There’s ups and downs & challenges along the way. However If I didn’t exercise I wouldn’t be able to show up for my girls, my fiance, my family and I wouldn’t be able to show up for myself. So with one workout at a time…I am getting stronger mentally and physically,” she captioned the post. Here’s how McCann stays fit, focused, and healthy.

1. Protein and Salads

Ferne.McCannFerne McCann/Instagram

McCann enjoys a protein-packed diet during the week. "I wake up and have a shot of Symprove mixed with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar followed by my Herbalife thermo tea and morning breakfast," she told Express. "I drop Sunday to nursery and exercise then have a protein shake within half an hour of exercising. I have a mid morning snack - this could be anything from a boiled egg, handful of nuts or a banana - then I will have a healthy lunch, such as a salad, wholemeal wrap or a soup. I have a mid-afternoon protein snack then I will cook dinner which could be anything. I am a proper foodie and love experimenting in the kitchen."

2. Yoga and HIIT

McCann has learned how to make working out a sustainable, regular part of her lifestyle. "I make exercise and keeping fit a priority. If I didn’t I wouldn’t do it,” she told Express. “For me, to keep engaged I have to mix things up, from yoga, going for a walk, a HITT workout or dance workout. Variety is key. Everyday I try to drink 2.5 liters of water and I aim to do 10,000 steps which I track via my Fitbit. I aim to be in bed at 11pm and listen to a sleep meditation. My alarm goes off at 6am."

3. Healthier Lifestyle

McCann is happy to leave the reality star lifestyle behind her. “I feel the best I’ve ever felt in my life,” she told Closer. “My old lifestyle left me bloated, lethargic and demotivated. Now I feel strong, super lean and have a real sense of strength. Back then I didn’t have anywhere near as much self-love as I do now. It’s amazing!”

4. Skincare Routine

Cleansing,Wet,Wipes,On,Table,With,Copy,SpaceShutterstock

McCann’s skincare regimen changes depending on her schedule. “If I'm on the go I'll use a wipe, if I'm at home or on holiday I'll definitely use a cleanser and a toner,” she told OK!. “I think the key is a really good eye make-up remover, I use a blue one I think it's Clinique or Estdee Lauder. Just some cotton pads, wash your face with water, use a really good cleanser. Exfoliate twice a week, that's what I do.”

5. Feeling Good and Looking Great

McCann makes healthy choices as much for her wellness as for beauty. “If you can fill your body with good food and get moving, it can have a huge impact on everything else in your life – from work to relationships,” she told Closer. “It’s about how it makes you feel more than how it makes you look.”

Danni Menzies is showing off her fit figure – in a sports bra and leggings. In a new social media post the A Place in the Sun presenter shows off her washboard abs during an intense workout circuit. “Last session in Glasgow with @chantelwilkie_fit ready to get down the road and take on London,” she captioned the post. How does the 34-year-old stay fit? Celebwell has the details on her latest workout and the other health habits responsible for her amazing figure.

1. She Goes Running

Danni told Runner’s World UK that she has been running since she was 8. “Running is an escape from London life. I live in Fulham and run 10km in a loop from Putney to Hammersmith along the Thames. I usually run two to three times a week but if I’m busy with work I’ll do that route once a week and then 5-8km on the other days,” she said. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

2. She Eats Healthy During the Week

On weekdays, Danni keeps her diet ultra healthy. “Before every run I have green juice and a coffee, and then an omelette with avocado when I get back,” she told Runner’s World. “On the weekends, she cheats! “I’m a health freak Monday to Friday but I love a Domino’s Pizza on a Sunday.”

3. She Uses Fitness Apps

Girl,Uses,Fitness,AppShuttestock

Danni is a fan of fitness apps. “I use Nike Running Club's running app. If I see that friends I follow have gone out and ran 7km, I’ll go and do 9km. It’s a great motivator and I like the training programmes you can get on them,” she told Runner’s World.

4. She Does Reformer Pilates

“I do reformer pilates,” Danni told Daily Star UK. “I’m a bit of a fitness freak from Monday to Friday and then I party at the weekend.“I’m good at keeping on it Monday to Friday. I’m pretty health conscious.” Should you do Pilates? The Mayo Clinic confirms that there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

5. She Also Does Yoga

“I try to do a lot of Yoga as well. I find it helps space doing exercise,” Danni added to Daily Star UK. “It makes you feel good as well as put your head in the right place too.” There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

6. Here Is Her New Workout Routine

Strength training is also part of her routine. Here are the exercises she does in her latest video:

  1. Sumo deadlifts
  2. Barbell rows
  3. Front raises with a plate
  4. Chest press on the ground
  5. Gorilla kettlebell rows
  6. Skierg cardio
  7. Burpees
  8. Shoulder taps

Binky Felstead, aka Alexandra Felstead, the TV personality, is on vacation in gorgeous Ibiza. She’s making sure to get some stunning photos for her Instagram followers. Felstead posted a new set of photos of herself perching on an infinity pool, in the sun. She wore a white one piece swimsuit, looking gorgeous. Felstead captioned the post, “Day 3. The generic pool shot.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Binky Felstead stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Lives An Active Life

After having her daughter, India, Felstead wasn’t as focused on losing weight. However, she told The Sun that she found herself working out a lot more by just living her life. “At first, fitness and getting in shape is the last thing on your mind. All you care about is this wonderful baby and you’re so exhausted everything is a bit of a blur. But without realizing it, you’re picking up prams and cots and you’re constantly on the move.”

2. She Works Out In The Morning

When it comes to working out, for Felstead, the earlier, the better. Felstead tells The Sun that she likes to work out first thing in the morning.“Going to the gym in the morning really calms my mind, and sets me up for the rest of the day.”

3. She Doesn’t Want To Set A Bad Example

After Felstead lost the baby weight, she was naturally asked how she did it. However, she tells The Sun that she doesn’t want other women to feel pressure to look like her. “So many mums say to me, ‘How did you get into shape so quickly?’. It’s so important for me to stress that I absolutely didn’t. Aside from the fact that it’s dangerous, it’s also not what being a new mum is all about. It’s a time to enjoy being a mum without any pressure of ‘getting back in shape’.”

4. She Works Out With A Personal Trainer

attends the World Premiere of "Another Mother's Son" on March 16, 2017 in London, England.

Felstead, like many, works out with a personal trainer. She tells The Sun that this has helped her work out a lot more consistently. “I wanted to feel better and had no idea where to start by myself. Everyone said ‘you’re going to get the fitness bug’, and I thought that’s NEVER going to be me, I just tolerate it. But after a few months of training once or twice a week, I found myself looking forward to the sessions. I noticed a new confidence.”

5. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Amy Winehouse Foundation Gala attends the Amy Winehouse Foundation Gala at The Dorchester on October 5, 2017 in London, England.

Felstead tells HealthWellBeing.com that she and her personal trainer like to do a lot of different exercises. “I do high intensity bodyweight workouts nearly every day with Tyrone,” she says. “He got me back to where I am after having India. We mix it up with strength and high intensity because I like getting a sweat on. Tyrone does yoga and Pilates too, but I’m more of a ‘go for it’ girl.”

1. She Starts the Day with ACV

Ferne starts the day off with a healthy shot. "I wake up and have a shot of symprove mixed with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar followed by my Herbalife thermo tea and morning breakfast,” she told Express UK.

2. She Fuels Up with Protein Post Workout

Ferne emphasizes the importance of refueling your body after exercise with a major dose of protein. "I drop Sunday to nursery and exercise then have a protein shake within half an hour of exercising," she told Express about her after sweat session ritual.

3. She Snacks

Ferne is all about regular snacks. "I have a mid morning snack - this could be anything from a boiled egg, handful of nuts or a banana - then I will have a healthy lunch, such as a salad, wholemeal wrap or a soup,” she told Express. "I have a mid-afternoon protein snack then I will cook dinner which could be anything. I am a proper foodie and love experimenting in the kitchen."

4. She Hydrates

Ferne also understands the importance of hydration, especially when she is very active. "Everyday I try to drink 2.5 litres of water and I aim to do 10,000 steps which I track via my Fitbit,” she told Express.

5. Fitness Is Her Priority

"I make exercise and keeping fit a priority. If I didn’t I wouldn’t do it,” Ferne admitted to Express. "Having something that is flexible around being a parent and work is key, which is why my online fitness and wellbeing platform Embodyment fits perfectly into my busy life. It slots in around your kids as you can do it anywhere, anytime."

6. She Mixes Up Her Wokrouts

Ferne maintains variety with exercise, which prevents her from getting bored. "For me, to keep engaged I have to mix things up, from yoga, going for a walk, a HITT workout or dance workout. Variety is key," she told Express.

7. She Has Cheat Meals and Days

Since Ferne eats healthy most of the time, she explained to the Belfast Telegraph that she allows herself cheat meals. “For me, it’s all about making healthy choices, not starving yourself or denying yourself every day. I try to make healthy choices but it’s not like I cut out carbs or alcohol or Chinese takeaways completely because they are things that I absolutely love. You have to treat yourself or else I think you’d be miserable,” she said. “As long as you’re exercising and making good choices for the majority of the time then why not give yourself some cake if you want it?”

8. She Takes the Weekend Off

The U.K. Family Gala Screening of Disney's EncantoGareth Cattermole/Getty Images

Ferne is much more relaxed during the weekends. However, she still makes sure to stay active. “Of course I have Netflix days, but my weekends are very active with walking, playing with Sunday and other tasks. On weekends I read, enjoy myself and don’t go to the gym. I have my daughter to look after so there's no way I can exercise. I think if you stick to your rest days then you won’t fall off the wagon in the week. I do the same with alcohol - I don’t drink unless I’ve got an event in the week, then have a wine at the weekend,” she told Women’s Health.

Ferdinand spilled some of her secrets to The Daily Star. She says that she makes both working out and rest days a priority. “I love working out, I love feeling active and it’s really good for my mind, but I also have a day off and I don’t beat myself up about it. I don’t cry if I don’t do it. I used to feel like something terrible would happen if I didn’t work out and it used to really take over my life.

2. She Works Out Multiple Times A Week

Ferdinand tells The Daily Star that she works out multiple times each week. “I work out four or five times a week, doing a mixture of high-intensity interval training and weights depending on how I am feeling. I do squats and lunges and I feel my bum is getting there – it’s a work in progress.

3. She Works Out Her Abs

Ferdinand has amazing abs, which means she does a lot of ab workouts. She tells The Daily Star that she does an ab workout at the end of each session. “At the end of every workout, I do an ab finisher, which has five ab exercises – 20 of each so 100 in total. I think the best one is the bicycle crunch, which is good for the obliques on the side of your body.”

5. She Combines Pilates And Weight Training

Rayna Vallandingham is flashing her washboard abs – in a two-piece exercise set from Alo. In a new social media post the actress flaunts her impressive midsection during a workout at the gym. “dojang diaries,” she captioned the series of snaps. “Magnific! Very very beautiful,” commented one of her followers. “♥️More like diaries of a hottie♥️” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Be Consistent

Consistency – at the gym and the martial arts studio – is the key to success. "It is a way of life," Rayna says. "It's not only teaching your body movements and being in synchronicity with your body, but also just like the mental aspect of it."

Fight Your Way to a Hot Body

Rayna is a big fan of martial arts. She has been doing taekwondo since she was 2, earning her first black belt at 6. "In the very beginning, my parents put me in the sport because I was just really shy, and I think they could tell that I needed something," says Vallandingham, who lives and trains in Los Angeles. "Immediately, I just loved it. I felt at home, and every single day, instead of watching Dora, I wanted to go to the dojo,” she told Well + Good. Studies confirm that the practice helps with balance, cognitive function, psychological health, weight loss, and physical fitness.

Work on Strength and Flexibility

Rayna recommends prioritizing strength, flexibility, and power. "Of the three, I think strength and flexibility are the top two," Vallandingham says. "We used to have people stand on my legs and force my knees to come down in butterfly stretch," she says. "I have permanent damage to my body—I have tendonitis [because of this]."

Lift Weights

If you want a strong, lean body like Vallandingham, you must lift for it. The star strength trains, focusing on supersets, doing two moves back-to-back that target the same muscle groups to double down on their gains. One of her favorite exercises is a goblet squat. She stands with her feet shoulder-width apart, folded forward until she can slide her palms underneath her soles (you could also hold your ankles or calves), then bends her knees, lowering her butt toward the floor while lifting her chest, coming into a deep squat. She'll bend and extend her legs several times in this position. Then, it's on to the main event, holding a weight in her hands while bending down into a deep squat. "I love utilizing a Bosu ball—they're pretty much in every single gym," she adds.

Stretch

Rayna never skips stretching. She starts by by lying on the floor with her legs up the wall and then allowing them to open out into a side split. "I let gravity do its work because that's my body telling me, okay, this is where we're at," she says. "My hips are opening on their own, and I'm not having to force anything." “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Charli Hawkins is training in the snow – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the Olympian shows off her fantastic figure – including her flat abs – in an exercise set while enjoying the winter weather. “TRAINING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND! ❄️🥶❤️✨Gearing up in this altitude for the LONDON MARATHON this April! I’m so excited to see what my mind and body can make happen! To my marathon runners: it’s your time to shine, PLEASE tell me ALL of your tips, all of your advice, and for all of you who understand what I’m about to attempt, please send your words of encouragement 😂 Also feel free to try to talk me out of this as well thanks👍 We are on the training countdown. Turning a sprinter, jumper, and thrower into a long distance runner 🫣🙌 What do you think my time will be?” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Minfulness and Meditation

Charli practices mindfulness. Before going for a run, she says words of intention. “I am willing. I am grateful. I surrender,” she revealed during an interview with San Diego Magazine. Meditation:

“When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Reducing negative emotions
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality

Stretching

She also makes sure to stretch. “If you ever can think of some dynamic stretches: F.A.S.T. ✨🙌 My left hip and right QLs have been SO tight lately so I’m on a journey of getting them right! What’s bugging you at the moment???” she captioned a post. “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Here Is The Right Way To Run

During her interview with San Diego, Charli explained how you should be running. “Remember, the sole of the foot is showing right in front of us,” she said, doing a type of high-knee movement. “To do this, you’re over exaggerating your running form while standing still. Raise your knee up, point your toes to the clouds (forming an A), and then pedal the sole of your foot forward before striking your knee down. It’s more complicated than it sounds after 30-plus years of moving a certain way,” the writer explained.

Positive Attitude

In a recent post Charli revealed things she learned about positivity. “Patience is easier when it isn’t required,” she said. “The people around you are BLESSINGS (which I feel like I already understood but sometimes it’s nice to have it emphasized).” Also, “We are up, we are down, but trusting the process sometimes means knowing that it’s all good even when it’s not the best” and “Making a plan is the best option for everything. It’s ok if the plan doesn’t go perfect, but just willy-nilly-ing it is not the best option when you want to get things done.”

Never Giving Up

Charli refuses to give up. “Understand what you want first, and then go for it. Then keep going for it all the time, and, eventually, you’ll get it,” she said during her interview.
