1. She Believes In Balance

Gadot opened up about her diet to Good Housekeeping. She says that she makes sure to eat healthy. For Gadot, that means eating a balanced diet, and not cutting anything out. “I try to eat healthy yet balanced. I don't like to deprive myself of anything. I believe in balance in everything, by the way. I love to cook, and I’ve always been a foodie."

2. She Loves Mediterranean Food

Gadot tells Good Housekeeping that she loves Mediterranean food. "Since I’m from the Middle East, I’m very much all about the Mediterranean diet. I look at food as fuel, and I want to give the best to my body so I try to eat healthy on most days." Gadot loves fresh produce, olive oil, and proteins.

3. Subhead Goes Right Here

Gadot makes sure to get enough protein in her diet. She shared some of her favorite options with Good Housekeeping. "I love all different kinds of fish, but my latest obsession is Chilean sea bass,” she says. “I also like chicken and filet steak." Piedmont Healthcare states that getting enough protein in her diet is important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are comprised mostly of protein.”

4. She Loves Salads

Gadot tells Good Housekeeping that she loves vegetables. She says that she likes to make salads with them. "I’m also big on salad with delicious dressings," Gadot shares. "The ones I make are either based with olive oil or Greek yogurt with lots of herbs and spices for a delicious kick." Salads are a great way of getting a lot of ingredients into your diet. Colorado State University states, “Lettuce, spinach, and other salad greens are an important part of a healthful diet because they can be year-round sources of vitamin A, vitamin C, and other nutrients. Red and dark green leafy vegetables are generally higher in antioxidants, Vitamin B6, and other nutrients than lighter colored greens.”

5. She Makes Healthy Snacks

A,Healthy,Traditional,Breakfast.,Granola,With,Yoghurt,,Green,Apple,,YellowShutterstock

Gadot makes sure to eat healthy snacks. She shared some of her favorites in her Good Housekeeping interview. "In the afternoon, when I get hungry again, I'll have a snack, which is usually dates or yogurt with green apples.” Yogurt has a lot of benefits, according to Harvard Health. “Yogurt offers several important nutrients including protein and calcium. However, much of the research on yogurt’s health benefits centers on its live bacterial content, which is also present in other fermented foods like kefir, kimchi, and sauerkraut. It has been proposed that a lower number of some bacterial strains in the body may influence risk of certain disease conditions including obesity, type 2 diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, and chronic inflammatory diseases such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and rheumatoid arthritis.”

6. She Works With A Trainer

27th Annual ELLE Women In Hollywood Celebration - ArrivalsAmy Sussman/Getty Images

Gadot also shared some of her favorite workouts with Good Housekeeping. She says that she works with a trainer on a regular basis. "I work out with a trainer about four times a week so I can be the best version of myself.” The Australian Institute of Fitness states that working with a trainer has a lot of benefits. “Your personal trainer will be able to help you become further educated on how your nutrition plays a role in your fitness journey, what exercises target which muscles, the correct exercise form and so much more. Being able to turn to a fitness professional for any questions you have rather than turning to Google will result in detailed, educated and personalised answers that will help you succeed.”

7. She Works Her Legs

In order to prepare for her role in Wonder Woman, Gadot worked with trainer Magnus Lygdbeck. He shared some of the actress’ workouts in an interview. Lygdbeck gave Gadot a lot of lower body workouts. “Leg press, front dumbbell squats, skaters and skate jumps — that’s such a good one because it recruits fast-twitch muscle fibers and works all three of the glute muscles — pull-ups, lateral raises and a ton of core work.”

7 Body-Sculpting Tricks From Danai Gurira for a Strong and Inspiring Physique

Black Panther star Danai Gurira has a history of playing strong, powerful women—and she absolutely looks the part, thanks to a hardcore training regimen worthy of a warrior. Gurira, 45, is known for roles where her physical strength is key to the performance. This is just one reason why she revels in having a toned, muscular body that can effortlessly wield a katana or run for miles. So how does she do it? This is what it takes to have Gurira’s amazing physique.

1. Pilates and Circuit Training

GreenSlate Greenroom At The 2022 Gotham Awards - Cipriani Wall Street - New York, NY - November 28th, 2022Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images

Gurira exercises with personal trainer AJ Fisher four times a week. Fisher puts the actress through a circuit training/Pilates-inspired workout, using a heart rate monitor and resistance bands. “If I haven’t worked out, if I haven’t exercised and connected with my body in some way, it chips away at my feeling of well-being,” she says.

2. Swimming Sessions

African,American,Woman,Resting,In,Outdoor,Swimming,Pool,On,SunnyShutterstock

Gurira was inspired to start swimming when she saw her sister doing it. “I don’t remember ever not being able to swim,” she says.“I jumped in the water and was insistent on learning to swim with her. It’s a stunning form of exercise, and the lack of impact on the body at the same time is amazing.”

3. The Walking Dead Training

2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones - ArrivalsJemal Countess/Getty Images

Gurira trained to effectively wield a heavy sword for her role in The Walking Dead. "The power comes from the way you pivot your hips. Your feet have to be well placed, your shoulders dropped, your core engaged,” she says. “And your arms have to be very precise. My katana is solid steel, so it's like swinging a 5-foot-long dumbbell.”

4. Tough Chick

AMC Networks' 2023 UpfrontJamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Gurira grew up playing tennis, field hockey, and running track. "I've always been a bit of a tough chick," she says. "That's what made me work for the part of Michonne. Taking care of my body, knowing I'll never get another, is one of my top priorities. I'm happiest when I feel strong. And I do what I need to do to get there."

5. Mostly Vegan Diet

Green,Detox,Smoothie,From,Avocado,And,Baby,Spinach,In,AShutterstock

Gurira follows what she calls a “pesca-vegan” diet, having given up dairy and most meat except fish years ago. “I used to have spinach when I was a kid, and my mom wouldn’t let me leave the table until I’d eaten it,” she says. “Somehow that worked its way into me feeling like I have to eat spinach. And now I love spinach—I mean, I love spinach. I want it in my smoothies, I want it on the side, I want it with my meals.”

6. At Least 20 Minutes of Exercise a Day

Gym,Background,With,Fitness,Equipment,Dumbbells,Weight,For,WorkoutShutterstock

Gurira never travels without her mat, dumbbells, and workout DVDs. "There's always enough time in the day to get in a 20-minute workout," she says. "I've trained in my garage, my living room, in a pool and even an underground parking garage. It never stops!"

7. Focusing On Strength

2022 SFFILM Awards NightMiikka Skaffari/Getty Images

Gurira loves feeling strong from her workouts, even when she isn’t motivated to do them. “It’s not like, ‘Oh, I’m in so much pain from that,’” she says. “It’s like, ‘Oh, I feel the strength in my core, I feel the strength in my back.’ As women, we’re not always encouraged to find the fullest extent of our physical power. There’s something so exciting about tapping into that part of ourselves.”

Zoë Kravitz is something of a chameleon when it comes to her on-screen roles—from The Batman to Mad Max: Fury Road, she manages to make having a lithe yet muscular physique look effortless. The 34-year-old actress has an approach to health, wellness, and beauty that focuses on diet, exercise, and most important of all, happiness. Here’s how Kravitz stays so fit, and what her wellness mantra is for her most fulfilling life.

1. Cardio and Squats

Tiffany & Co. NYC Flagship Store ReopeningTaylor Hill/Getty Images

Kravitz has a simple yet effective approach to her fitness—she works out at home, and doesn’t make it complicated. “I do simple cardio, and sit ups and squats,” she says. She also loves visiting her favorite Korean spa in Los Angeles for self care.

2. Lots of Water and Vegetables

Baked,Seasonal,Vegetables,With,Herbs,,Healthy,Vegetarian,Meal,,Top,View,Shutterstock

Kravitz focuses on a vegetable-heavy diet with room for the occasional treat. “Trying to drink enough water is such a huge thing,” she says. “I really don't. Sometimes I'll realize it's five o'clock and I've had the tiniest glass of water. I try to go to the gym or at least walk and move my body around. I try eating well—making sure you're eating greens or steamed veggies, or stuff that doesn't have a lot of oil or chemicals. But if you want to go to McDonald's every once in a while, do it! But it's about clean food that hasn't been processed.”

3. Hiking and Elliptical Machine

Sporty,Girl,Exercise,On,Elliptical,Cross,Trainer,At,GymShutterstock

For Kravitz, working out is a form of self-care. “Working out is my alone time,” she says. “Depending on where I am, I go on runs or hikes or do the elliptical at the gym. I don’t get too fancy.”

4. Personal Trainer Five Days a Week

2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones - ArrivalsLionel Hahn/Getty Images

Kravitz mostly likes to work out by herself, but used a trainer during the pandemic lockdowns. "I’ve been working out virtually with my trainer David Higgins five days a week,” she says. “And it’s actually been really great because it’s been giving me some kind of structure because I do it at the same time and it also makes the weekends feel like a weekend because I don’t workout on the weekends and it gives me just, oh, it’s a different kind of a day."

5. Catwoman Training

2022 GQ Men Of The Year Party Hosted By Global Editorial Director Will Welch - ArrivalsGregg DeGuire/FilmMagic

Kravitz says her training regimen for her role as Catwoman in 2022 movie The Batman was hardcore. "It’s pretty intense," she said at the time. "We started shooting two weeks ago, but before that I was in London for two months, just getting in shape, training, learning fights… I can fight now."

6. No Processed Foods

Omega,3,Capsules,In,The,Wooden,Spoon,On,White,ConcreteShutterstock

Kravitz enjoys a healthy, gut-friendly diet not just for health but for skincare. “[Facialist] Terri Lawton tells me food directly affects your skin,” she says. “So does stress. Eat well and stay calm. Water, organic non-processed foods, supplements like fish oils for the skin, and probiotics for digestion.”

7. Embracing Her Beauty

94th Annual Academy Awards - ArrivalsDavid Livingston/Getty Images

Kravitz has no interest in looking like everyone else when it comes to her physique and appearance. “To me, beauty is an attitude, you know?” she says. “When I see someone who is comfortable in their own skin and knows who they are, I think that’s gorgeous. I’ve seen so many people who on paper are ‘beautiful,’ and there’s just nothing behind the eyes—they’re totally insecure, and all of a sudden, the beauty doesn’t mean anything, and I don’t find them beautiful anymore. That beauty lasts about two seconds.”

Sharvari isn’t just making waves in the film industry—she’s dominating the fitness game too. Known for her roles in Munjya, Maharaj, and Vedaa, the rising star proves that strength and discipline extend far beyond the big screen.
In her latest Instagram post, Sharvari showcased her grit with a hardcore beach workout, flipping a massive tire in the sand. Adding a playful pun to her caption, she wrote, “Never tyre’d of a good beach workout.”
So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats
