While Goldie sticks to the classics, she also likes to incorporate new workouts into her routine to keep things fun and fresh. In that past few years she (literally) jumped on the trampoline bandwagon and started doing workouts on a Jumpsport trampoline. “My crazy @mindup mindful movement for today. Dance, jump and twirl like nobody’s watching ❤️💃🏼⁣⁣ and thanks @dualipa for the best addition to my trampoline playlist!,” she captioned a post, including a video of her workout.

2. Walk Daily

Goldie told People that she tries to “stay positive and be very, very active,” and doesn’t skip a day of exercise. “I walk every day and I run and do all kinds of that,” she said. She especially likes heading outdoors for her walks. “Connecting with nature and the environment can improve our mood, lower blood pressure, and reduce feelings of stress and anger. Research also shows that spending time outside is linked to higher levels of concentration, creativity, and improved mental clarity,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post. Even if you live in a city or urban setting, there are many ways to connect with nature. Watching a sunset, going for a walk around the neighborhood, or even just adding plants to our home, are just a few of the many ways we can reap the benefits of nature.”

3. Golf

Goldie also stays in shape with the help of Golf. “Golf is another way to experience mindfulness,” she said in an Instagram post taken from the golf course. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

4. Drink Juice, Eat Less

“I do a lot of juicing, I don’t put a lot of food in my stomach and I don’t mix my foods too much,” Goldie told People about her unique approach to eating. “So if I want to have protein, I’ll just eat a bowl of lentils, I won’t mix it with a bunch of stuff.” She added: “I don’t eat a lot. I think we overeat.”

5. Eat and Drink a Lot of Green

In an interview with Self, Goldie answered that greens were basically her solution to everything. “What's in your fridge?” they asked. “Green juice,” she responded. “If you feel like you are gaining weight or getting out of shape, what do you do to stay on track?” was the next question. “Drink more green juice,” she said. “What's your go-to breakfast?” And, she said: “Green juice!” As for her “typical” lunch and dinner? “Green salad and broccolini for lunch. Green watercress soup and green beans with fish for dinner.”

6. Do Short But Effective Workouts

No time for a long workout? No problem, says Goldie. “If I don’t have an hour, I’ll do 15-minute intervals. Actually, it’s a very good thing to do. If you’re taxing yourself too much in an hour, you’re taxing a lot of things.”

7. Make Health a Lifestyle

According to Goldie’s daughter, Kate Hudson, her mom’s secret to success is prioritizing a healthy lifestyle over dieting. "I think it's more the stuff we eat. Like green juice — mom's been drinking green juice forever," she told Allure. "In terms of the real stuff that I've learned from mom, it's her lifestyle. She was always healthy and active and drinking something green."

Kate Winslet has been the poster child for strong, curvy women since bursting into superstardom with her role in the 1997 blockbuster movie Titanic. Winslet, 47, has a down-to-earth approach to health and wellness that focuses on energy, happiness, and real beauty. So how exactly does she stay so strong and maintain her physique? Here’s what her diet and exercise regimen looks like.

1. Yoga and Cardio

73rd Primetime Emmy Awards - ArrivalsRich Fury/Getty Images

Winslet enjoys a variety of workouts to help keep herself happy and healthy. “Power yoga class a couple of times a week, some barre, cardio, and we have a dog, so I love going on walks,” she says. “I drink lots and lots of water! I’m really trying to be healthy.”

2. At-Home Pilates

Winslet likes working out in the peace and quiet of her home when possible. “I have a mat and little hand weights and I do a stomach thing and a bum thing. It’s very simple – you barely break into a sweat,” she says. “Here’s what’s so great about it: no one’s looking at you, no one’s telling you what to do or work harder or anything like that. I know it seems slightly tragic but it’s my way of exercising in a time-efficient way.”

3. Lots of Juicing

Green,Juice,From,AboveShutterstock

Winslet drinks plenty of green juice she makes at home from fresh vegetables. “Our fridge is always full of spinach, kale, cucumbers,” she says. “I’m vegetarian and my husband is vegan, so there’s a lot of plant-based focus in our home. My husband turning vegan is relatively recent, so that’s been a really fun education because you have to learn to be a little more inventive with foods.”

4. Her Beauty and Wellness Mantra

Photocall for "Avatar: The Way of Water" At The Corinthia LondonGareth Cattermole/Getty Images

Winslet believes in the power of good habits to ensure optimum wellness. “Beauty in your 40s is about depth and experience. And good habits,” she says. “Drink lots of water. Get outdoors as much as you can. Also, I exercise a lot and that makes an enormous difference in terms of endorphins and skin health.”

5. Portion Control

Isolate,Cookie,On,White,Background,,With,Clipping,Path.Shutterstock

Winslet refuses to diet, but is sensible about indulging in treats. “When it comes to dieting, I just don't care,” she says. “I watch myself as much as any average woman does, you know? I'll eat one cookie, not a whole box of cookies. But I'll still eat the one cookie...sometimes two, or even three. But not the whole box.”

6. No Scales, Ever

Bathroom,Scales,On,White,Background,,Top,View.,Weight,Loss,ConceptShutterstock

Winslet refuses to weigh herself, instead focusing on overall health. The actress relies on a healthy diet and regular exercise to look and feel good. “I don’t know how much I weigh, I haven’t weighed myself in 12 years,” she says. “Top tip: it’s a great move.”

7. Health For Beauty

Winslet knows that exercise and diet make a huge impact on appearance. “These days, I’m a little more health-conscious in terms of thinking about the next 10 years of my life,” she says. “[I] want to maximize my physical strength and keep my skin good without doing anything to my face. I do believe that beauty and wellness really reflects in your face, in your eyes, and how you feel. It goes hand in hand with elegance as well. I think a woman that looks well and confident is innately elegant.”

Diane Keaton is 77 and thriving. The iconic actress beloved for her roles in Annie Hall, The Godfather and many more is still working out, staying fit, and focusing on how to make her life better. "I've had a lot of independence, and nobody's telling me what to do," she says. "I had a mother who encouraged that and helped me achieve the things I wanted to achieve. I've followed the paths I've wanted to follow. I like redoing houses, I like architecture, I like visuals, I like fashion, I like all of it." Here are 7 ways Keaton takes care of her body and her mind.

1. Spin Classes

Los Angeles Premiere Of "Mack And Rita" - ArrivalsRodin Eckenroth/WireImage

Keaton takes spin classes, and admits they can be challenging. “It’s rough,” she says. “But at least I’m there. I’m sweating. I think the key here is that you don’t have to be like everybody else. Just do it. Do it the best you can do it. I know in spin class that for 45 minutes, I’m using my body to its fullest. And that’s big.”

2. Plant-Based Diet

Vegetables,Ingredients,Composition,Summer,Plant,Based,Food,Vegan,,Alkaline,DietShutterstock

Keaton follows a mostly plant-based diet. “I don’t eat meat, I’m a vegetarian and I’ve been a vegetarian for 25 years and I’ve stopped even eating fish,” she says. “I stopped five years ago. I don’t want to eat something that was an animal. It’s nuts. I think I eat pretty good, I drink red wine, I want to stay healthy, I want to stay active, I want to work, I want to keep in the world of the world, I want to participate, be a member.”

3. Treadmill and Walking

Close,Up,Shoes,Woman's,Muscular,Legs,Feet,During,Running, TreadmillShutterstock

Keaton makes sure to get her cardio in whenever possible by what she calls “fast walking”. “I exercise,” she says. “I get on the treadmill by myself at home. I walk all the time, I walk my dog, I do all that.” But she doesn’t run. “I’ll walk really fast to break a sweat,” she says. “One thing is for sure – I don’t run. It’s too hard. But the fast walking does give me a lot of energy to face the day.”

4. Healthy Snacks

Premiere Of Netflix's "Green Eggs And Ham" - ArrivalsGregg DeGuire/FilmMagic

Keaton doesn’t eat meat. “I’m a vegetarian now. I don’t eat meat or fish. I eat eggs and cheese,” she says. “And I do watch what I eat.” Her favorite snacks? “I enjoy a raisin,” she says. “Raisins are good for you and they smell great. [Almonds are my] favorite nut in the world. It’s salty and there’s nothing like it. I don’t like [walnuts] as much, but it’s probably healthier for you.

5. Black Coffee and Supplements Every Day

coffee-2Shuttterstock

Keaton enjoys black coffee every day before taking plenty of supplements. “I get up early, around 6 a.m,” she says. “And then in the remarkable, wonderful mess of life, I go and get coffee. Plain old black coffee. I take the dog, who sleeps with me on top of my bed—she’s a golden retriever and her name is Reggie and she takes up a good portion of the bed—on a walk in the darkness. We walk around the neighborhood; we really enjoy that.”

6. Healthy Habits vs Cosmetic Surgery

Premiere Of STX's "Poms" - ArrivalsRodin Eckenroth/WireImage

Keaton believes healthy habits are more effective than cosmetic surgery. “Of course I’m going to do the best I can. Given the circumstances. I exercise — I really enjoy my treadmill,” she says. “My hair is now white. It’s better to have light around your face — I think it looks better on older people. Darker hair is not as softening… My feeling is that [with cosmetic surgery] everybody has their hands and their hands are always at the face, so if the hands don’t match the face it’s a little weird. My hands are the hands of the age I am. They’ve been through a lot and they look like it!”

7. Embracing Her Looks

2021 LACMA's Art+Film 10th Annual Gala - ArrivalsFrazer Harrison/Getty Images

Keaton has learned to appreciate her looks over the years. “The other day I was looking at trees, and all my life I’ve said I never like sycamores. Well, guess what, I love sycamores now. I love looking at them! All these things are reawakened by the fact that the more you change, the more you see differently,” she says. “And the more you see differently, the more you’re open to different kinds of beauty. I think the more we embrace what our own feelings about beauty are, the more fun it’s going to be for us as we go along.”

50 is the new 30 – in Hollywood at least. These celebrities have been in the public eye for decades, but somehow manage to majorly delay the aging process. From taking care of their skin and undergoing the latest treatments to remaining dedicated to healthy eating and exercise, we have compiled the longevity secrets of some of the most high-profile stars who look sensational in their 50s.

1. Bethenny Frankel: She Doesn’t Diet

2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Bethenny Frankel, 52, has one big dietary secret – she doesn’t diet. "I’m old enough to know that fat-free was a craze, low-carb, eat your weight in meat and cheese was a phase, keto is a fad, the Zone was a moment, and so on .... so yes, I eat carbs. I eat everything, but I don’t binge," the Real Housewives star dished to Good Housekeeping. "What I eat has no consistency. Today, it was an egg white vegetable omelet with a baked potato and a few french fries for lunch. Sometimes, it's arugula with tomato, avocado, and Parmesan. Pureed soups are a mainstay for me."

2. Jennifer Lopez: No Alcohol, Healthy Diet, and “Harder and Smarter” Workouts

The Mother New York Tastemaker EventKevin Mazur/Getty Images

"I'm in the best shape of my life," Jennifer Lopez, 53, told InStyle in 2021. The star attributes her ageless beauty to a healthy diet, lots of water, and zero alcohol. She has also been extremely devoted to exercise. "In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now," she revealed. "It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter. And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. I do it more for my health than I do for looks, which is funny. When you do things for the right reasons, you actually look better!"

3. Paulina Porizkova: Gracefully Aging with Daily Exercise

Fifth Season And Vertical Host A Special Screening Of "Maybe I Do"Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Supermodel Paulina Porizkova, 58, believes in aging gracefully. And while she didn’t start exercising until she was 40, she now works out almost daily. “I try to exercise at least 3-5 days a week. And you know what? I ... hate it,” she said in one of her workout videos. “I don’t like to sweat and huff and puff and hurt. If sitting on a couch, eating cake, drinking wine and reading did the same for me as exercise, there would be no contest. BUT. I have come to find out that ‘working out’ is that perfect little pill everyone is looking for. It makes you feel good, look good, good for your brain and body - a small miracle that has to be paid of by a little discomfort.” Her favorite workouts include dancing, rowing, and pilates.

4. Kelly Ripa: “I Work Out Seven Days a Week”

Variety's 2023 Power Of Women - ArrivalsDia Dipasupil/Getty Images

Kelly Ripa, 52, never skips a workout "I work out seven days a week," she told In the Know. "And I try to workout an hour and a half a day, no matter what — whether I'm working or not. If I'm working, maybe I'll start it a little bit later or a little bit earlier, depending on what day of the week it is. But I am very religious about my fitness." She also avoids alcohol and maintains a super clean alkaline diet.

5. Jennifer Aniston: She Switches Up Her Workouts

Los Angeles Premiere Of Netflix's "Murder Mystery 2" - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Jennifer Aniston, 54, recently revealed to Bustle that she toned down her super-aggressive “feel the burn” approach to exercise. “I work out about three to four times a week, which is basically all your body really needs. I’ll do Pvolve, and then to switch it up, sometimes I’ll do Pilates, or sometimes I’ll take a hike,” she said. She also focuses on recovery. I love an infrared sauna or an Epsom salt bath. Those are two really good for drawing that lactic acid out, and I’ll even use my hands or a little gua sha on my legs for the same purpose.”

6. Jennifer Garner: Daily Cardio Sessions

On Jennifer Garner’s 51st birthday earlier this year she appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show and revealed her secret to longevity. “What I do in the morning is I work out,” Garner said. “You’ve gotta do hard cardio to get that—to get yourself—I’m sorry, you do,” she said. “We need it in our bodies, but we need it in our brains. Your brain needs it!” she exclaimed. “You find something that actually makes you feel joyful while you’re doing it or it won’t work.”

7. Sofia Vergara

2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones - ArrivalsJon Kopaloff/Getty Images

Sofia Vergara, 50, regularly jokes that she isn’t a fan of exercise. However, as she has gotten older she has incorporated weights into her routine. “The one thing that I have done that really has made a difference in my body is lifting weights. Not crazy weights. But, you know, like five pounds, seven pounds, 10 pounds. Twelve pounds is the maximum I can do. It keeps your muscles tight, and your skin tighter to you,” she explained to Health. “I’ve done Pilates and spinning, and I’ve tried all sorts of things—and they’re great.”

1. Avoid Fad Diets

Paramount Pictures' Premiere Of "Book Club" - ArrivalsFrederick M. Brown/Getty Images

In a 2012 video for BeFiT, Fonda revealed that diets are not, in fact, the key to weight loss. "Most diets focus on weight loss on the scale, and they impose temporary and often unhealthy restrictive behavior," she said. "Unfortunately, this scenario sets us up to fail." She cited research stating that 80% of dieters “will regain all or most of the weight that they lost within two years.” This is why drastic diets are not part of her approach. “Fad diets are the ones promising unrealistic results. You should not try to lose more than two to three pounds per week, max," she said.

2. Always Eat Breakfast

A,Healthy,Traditional,Breakfast.,Granola,With,Yoghurt,,Green,Apple,,YellowShutterstock

You won’t find Fonda on any intermittent fasting plans. "Every morning, commit to starting the day with a nutritious breakfast. People who do so tend to lose weight," she said in the video. "Breakfast, by the way, is the most important meal of the day, and making a good choice there will set you up for success for the rest of the day."

3. Indulge on Occasion

Los Angeles Premiere Screening Of Paramount Pictures' "80 For Brady" - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Fonda says, allow yourself to indulge on occasion. "You don't want to feel deprived," she points out in the video. "You can't sustain that over the long haul. So, if you have a piece of chocolate, it's OK—just don't eat the whole box, or maybe take a longer walk tomorrow."

4. Eat As Plant-Based As Possible

Salad,With,A,Baked,Pumpkin,,Chard,,Broccoli,,And,Pumpkin,SeedsShutterstock

Fonda eats a healthy, clean diet that is as plant-based as possible. "I eat a fairly healthy diet. I'm not rigid," she dished to Vogue. "I have cut way back on red meat. I've cut back on fish because fish supplies are dwindling. I eat vegetables. I eat salads. I eat fresh food. I'm just careful about what I eat. I don't eat a lot of sugar, except lately I have."

5. When You Overeat, Exercise More

2019 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards - Arrivals And CocktailDimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images

When Fonda does indulge in "unhealthy" food she will exercise more. "I was in Italy for two and a half months making the sequel to Book Club, and ate gelato and pasta every single day while I was there," she told Vogue. "But I never gained weight. I would get up at six in the morning before the heat hit and walk for an hour, hour and a half, two hours on days when the work permitted me to do that. I walk a lot, and that helps me."

6. Just “Keep Moving”

Netflix Presents A Special Screening Of "GRACE AND FRANKIE" - Season 6Charley Gallay/Getty Images

Fonda encourages movement. "I have to keep moving, because when you get older, it's more critical than when you're young. You have to keep your body moving," she told Well + Good. "For me, if I don't, not only does my body begin to deteriorate, but so does my mind, and I know that I need those endorphins."

7. Do Cardio and Resistance TRraining

Mix up your workouts, says Fonda. "It's important to do both cardio (aerobic) as well as resistance exercises. Aerobic activity is the only thing that gets rid of fat from all over your body including the marbled fat deep inside your muscles — dieting alone can't do this," Fonda wrote in a blog post.

On Instagram, Hewitt revealed the secret behind her impressive eyebrows. "I have been using this product and I'm noticing people bringing up my brows. I don't have anything on them today really, except this product, but it's the Rare Beauty lifting gel stuff. I mean, Selena, 'thank you' is all I can say. I love it, so I'm going to put it up so that you know what it is, but that's what it is. That is the brow lifting that people are talking about. That's all I got."

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”

She Builds Confidence

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
