Ice Spice is a breakout star in the rap scene. She is known for her songs “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj. She also appeared on the remix of Taylor Swift’s song “Karma.” Ice recently shared some highlights on Instagram. In them, she posed in different outfits, including a leopard print swimsuit. Ice captioned the post, “EU Love.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Ice Spice stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Enjoys Music

For Ice, being passionate about music is important to her. She said on The Today Show, “I always had a passion for music and I feel like whatever people are passionate in, they’re going to end up doing something along those lines. The second I stop having fun while recording, I need to just close the session and come back to it later. I don’t really think, ‘How am I going to get people to come into my store?’ consciously, but I probably do without even realizing it.”

2. She’s Comfortable

In her Today interview, Ice opened up about being nominated for a Grammy. “I was really nervous when I first found out that I was nominated,” she says. “But now I’m more calm and collected, and I’m just excited to experience the Grammys in general. Being on the carpet and the interviews are fun, and seeing other celebrities is really fun.”

3. She Wants To Be A Role Model

Ice wants to be a positive representation for black women in the music industry. She revealed to Today that this is why she was proud to win a Billboard Women In Music Award. “I’m really proud of that too. Because, of course, women are the minority in almost every industry. It’s just a huge blessing to be part of the women really moving things in music.”

4. She Wants People To Enjoy Her Music

Ice Spice.2Ice Spice/Instagram

Ice tells Complex that she wants her music to be enjoyable. “I wouldn't consider myself a lyricist. Obviously, lyrics go into music and I do think about them and I do be having bars in my music but they're just super simple. I want them to be digestible, I don't want them to fly over people's heads and they never catch it. I want people to hear it right away and be like, ‘OK, that was cute.’ But it's also fun at the same time.”

5. She Gets Vitamins From the Sun

"Vitamin D is a health benefit given to us by our oldest pal in the sky. Vitamin D plays a big role in bone health and low Vitamin D levels have been linked to rickets in children and bone diseases like osteoporosis. So how much sun do you need to get enough Vitamin D? It only takes 5-15 minutes of sunlight exposure on your arms, hands and face to get your daily value. The darker your complexion, the more time in the sun. Forget choking down a chalky vitamin every morning, just get outside for a bit and let the sun do its thing," says Intermmountain Health.

Tennis star Elena Rybakina went on a beautiful trip to Mexico, and shared the highlights on her social media. Rybakina, 24, shared an Instagram reel of the experience, including a short video of herself jumping rope in blue shorts and a white t-shirt. “Taking the best out of everything and focusing on the good. Gracias Mexico for making this stay memorable and cheering for us through all of sky’s mood swings 🇲🇽,” she captioned the post. Rybakina is the first Kazakhstani tennis player to ever win a major tournament—here’s what keeps her focused on the court.

1. Jump Rope

Young,Fit,Woman,Is,Taking,Jumping,Rope.Shutterstock

Rybakina jumps rope as part of her training, which is a highly effective cardio exercise. “You can jump rope at a slow, steady pace if you want to use it as low-impact, steady-state cardio or you can increase the intensity with techniques like high knees or double-unders (when the rope passes under the feet twice per jump) if you want to use it for HIIT-style training,” Mike Matthews, ISSA-certified personal trainer tells Nike.com. “Plus, if you’re pushed for time and looking for an effective full-body workout, jumping rope is an excellent solution.”

2. Wimbledon Success

Rybakina’s 2022 Wimbledon success inspired her to have confidence in her game. “I think of course I got all the experience at Wimbledon and it’s helping me now this time here in Australia and I know what to expect,” she told PA Media. “I already did it once and of course I got confident that I can do it again. I did really good preparation with the team. I’m not really surprised with the results. I’m happy. I’m just hungry to work and improve more.”

3. Ice Queen on the Court

Rybakina is known for her composure on the court, something she says gives her the edge against the competition. “I'm trying to be calm and not show if I'm upset or angry - no matter the situation,” she told Mind Set Win podcast. “It helps me and maybe also sometimes confuses the opponents, especially in the beginning when nobody knew me. It took them longer to figure out my weak spots. Maybe other players are too angry or showing too many emotions, they work to become calmer, for me it’s the opposite which is a bit rare.”

4. Adrenaline Junkie

Skydiving,PhotoShutterstock

Rybakina is a bit of an adrenaline junkie—although her team doesn't always approve. “I like cars but I don’t have my driver’s license yet, I just haven’t had time yet because I am always on the road,” she told Mail Online. “I really like roller coasters as well, and I have ridden quite a lot of them in America. After a tournament it’s sort of a treat. One of the things I want to do is jump out of an airplane, but my coaches are telling me this is not the right time. I think they are worried about the landing.”

5. Covid Chaos

Rybakina was forced to stop training during the pandemic lockdowns. “It was tough, because I was at home in Moscow with my family and the restrictions were very hard there,” she told Tennis Majors. “I couldn’t get out of the apartment for two and a half months — only with a special permit. I didn’t hold a racquet for two and a half months. I was just trying to do fitness as much as I could. I was following my diet. I was on the phone with my coach; we were watching some (of my old) matches together. It was a tough time, but also I enjoyed spending time with my family.”

Kelly Burglund is recreating a movie scene – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the actress shows off her figure in exercise clothes while recreating an iconic movie moment from 10 Things I Hate About You with her boyfriend. “0 things I hate about you ♥️,” she writes in the caption. “Cute,” commented one of her followers. How does the Heels star approach diet, fitness, and self care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Prior to Heels, She Was a “SoulCycler”

Berglund discussed her physical transformation for Heels with SheKnows. Prior to shooting she had a dance and gymnastics background and enjoyed spin classes. “I go to SoulCycle and that’s about it!” she told her trainer for the show. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

2. Three Hours of Training Per Night

To get in shape prior to shooting, Berglund spent three hours a night wrestling. Then, for season two, she amped it up even more. “I trained for five months going into season two, because Crystal is much more of a wrestler now. I wanted to bulk up and look more like a wrestler,” she added to The Hollywood Reporter.

3. Bulking and Cutting

Much like real wrestlers, Berglund bulked and cut. “So I was eating a pretty strict bulking diet of lots of protein, and then cutting closer to when we were filming the show, I was training for about three hours a day, five days a week. And that continued on as we started filming in Atlanta. They built us another gym like they did in season one, and we were in there on all of our off days with the stunt team. Even the cast that aren’t wrestlers were coming into the gym; it became this community. So it was extremely difficult, but I’m so proud of myself for getting through it. And in watching the second season, I’m grateful that it comes across,” she told THR.

4. Ice Baths

Kelli cools down with ice baths. “Thank you for having us @denmotherwellness 🌿 pure bliss is fighting for your life in an ice bath together,” she captioned a recent post. There is limited research supporting the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increased focus, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes basic post-sport recovery.

5. Dance

Kelli also blasts calories via dance. “I take dance classes (when I can) in my free time… it’s still such a love of mine, plus, it’s a great workout!” Kelli told Naluda. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

Professional skier and snowboarder Ester Ledecká isn’t content with being a double threat—she wants to add ice hockey to that list, too. Ledecká, 29, shared a funny video of herself wearing black joggers and a blue and white sweatshirt, pretending to play hockey while cleaning up a cow barn with a broom. “I'm still working on the farm and waiting for a call from @nhlbruins 😁,” she captioned the post. Here’s how the Olympian focuses on her many sports, and lives her best life.

1. Skiing and Snowboarding Training

Ledecká worked hard to excel at both skiing and snowboarding but admits it’s difficult. “Inside, I still feel like [I am] half snowboarder and half skier,” she told Olympics.com. “The thing is that we wanted to see what is possible for me in the overall rankings in skiing... But the problem is that when I want to try it, it's even more difficult to fit the snowboard racing schedule because it's at the same time. And if I want to compete in both, then I have to cancel some ski races, and that means that I lose a lot of points in the overall rankings.”

2. Double Threat

Ledecká can’t decide between snowboarding and skiing. "Inside, I still feel like [I am] half snowboarder and half skier," she told Olympics.com. “I can still do a triple or even a quadruple. There is still a lot of space for improvement… It depends on my feeling in that exact time of the season. And if I just feel that if I want to go snowboarding, I go snowboarding and nothing is going to stop me. And it's also the other way around!"

3. Mikaela Shiffrin Is a Fan

World Cup champion Mikaela Shiffrin is a big fan of Ledecká. “She’s an incredible athlete—obviously she has to be to compete in both sports so well,” Shiffrin told Powder. “I think she has a really natural feeling for speed and really great technique. Watching her ski, I wonder what everyone else is doing.”

4. Friendly Competition

Ledecká jokes about the competition between skiers and snowboarders. “As long as I’m having fun and doing it for myself, I think I’m in a good way,” she told Powder. “Sometimes, I want to stay in bed (in the morning), but as long as I’m on the hill, I feel like I’m at home.”

5. Always Improving

Ledecká is improving with every single training session. “It's not like going to the top and then back, like that one race in South Korea,” she told Olympics.com. “But when you see [all of the results], I was improving that season too. I just wasn't on that level that I would be able to reach [the podium] more than once through the season. Then the next season, I [took] a step a little [further] and then more, and more. So, I feel I'm going in [the] right direction, for sure. Even though I am now a much better skier, and I have much more experience, I still [don't have the] experience, which I would consider is enough for me to be able to win every race.”

WNBA star Breanna Stewart went into 2024 with good intentions and lots of gratitude. Stewart, 29, shared a picture of herself wearing a blue shirt and gray shorts, beaming with happiness as she posed on the court. “How I’m entering 2024… with love, happiness & my people,” she captioned the post. “Happy New Year Stewie! 2024 is going to be even more amazing, if that’s possible 😜,” commented Rennae Stubbs. Here’s what Stewart’s diet, training, and recovery regimen looks like, and the home-cooked meal her fellow athletes go crazy for.

1. Basketball Training

Stewart says basketball is the best workout. "I don’t really know any other speed than basketball. I’ve just been playing it forever,” she told Red Bull. “It’s a stop-and-go game. You can be running up and down for a while, then stop, then you have to go again. We don’t do much conditioning work during the season, because we’re playing almost three games each week. But during the preseason we do some sprints on the court, and riding the Airdyne bike, which really sucks—whether you’re in shape or not, you’re dying on that thing. And a lot of different cardio machines and kinds of cardio exercises. And just playing—nothing compares to it."

2. Weight Training and Pilates

Stewart uses weights to build strength and muscle. "I need to make sure that my body is ready and that means getting in the weight room,” she told Red Bull. “I just work everything—upper and lower body. I also do Pilates to make sure that my core is strong. When I’m on the court, I’m using everything, so I want to make sure that my whole body is ready to go. I usually spend an hour in the gym, then we spend about two hours on the court for practice. I do drills—like I’ll work on my post game. It helps to have someone to work with you to make sure you’re getting pushed. After practice, I do an hour of shooting drills. I like to have a schedule and keep things consistent.”

3. Spicy Rigatoni For the Team

Rigatoni,Pasta,With,Tomato,Sauce,And,Cheese,-,Traditional,ItalianShutterstock

Stewart’s mother makes incredible rigatoni noodles for her teammates. "My mom makes these chicken riggies that are off the chart,” she told Sports Illustrated. “She usually makes it when I have a team over or my family gets together because it's a bigger dish. It's rigatoni noodles with chicken and a tomato sauce. She can add red pepper flakes to make it spicier. She puts diced tomatoes in it, and she can add peppers and all types of things. I made it for my team when I was at UConn because they'd had it before—my mom would bring me leftovers that she'd frozen, and the team came to my house one time and she made it. I don't want to say it was as good as my mom's, but they all approved."

4. Pre-Game Meal

Stewart loves asparagus, which is low in calories yet packed with nutrients. "[I had a] pre-game meal of penne with meat sauce, brown rice, mashed sweet potatoes, and of course, asparagus," she told USA Today. "I could eat asparagus pretty much every day and not get tired of it."

5. Steam Room and Cold Tub

Stewart knows how important recovery and rest days are for athletes. “My muscles get really tight, so I’ll get them worked on before and after practice,” she told Red Bull. “I like going in the steam room and the hot tub; that makes my body feel good on the day after games. And doing yoga and really all the recovery things—the foam rolling, muscle flossing, the list goes on and on. I’ll go in the hot tub before practice and the cold tub after. The cold tub helps get the lactic acid and everything out of your legs. I try to make sure that I’m doing everything I can to keep my body feeling good. I want to stay ahead of letting my body break down, which allows injuries to happen.”

I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
