She Believes "Everything in Moderation"

Jana eats healthy…most of the time. "I personally think everything in moderation," she explained in an Instagram Q&A. "I had a chocolate chip cookie last night. I will eat another one tonight. I don't think you should deprive yourself of anything. I think, eat when you are hungry. But all-around diet is how I do it."

Here is what Jana eats in a day: "Two eggs over easy with some avocado toast and fresh squeezed OJ. I'm not much of a lunch girl, but I snack throughout the day – apples, cottage cheese, carrots and hummus, almonds…I'm always snacking. I love a good hearty dinner: Salmon with risotto or a strip steak and a sweet potato with a kale salad. Okay, now I'm hungry!" she told The New Potato. She is also a big fan of nutritious drinks. "My perfect smoothie would consist of kale, spinach, cucumber, parsley, lots of ginger and lemon. I love all salads, but my favorite would be a Kale Caesar," she added.

She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Jana works out regularly with Nashville based trainer Erin Oprea, doing workouts both in-person and virtually. She regularly shares clips from her sessions via her Instagram stories. "I work out with Erin two times a week," she explained in one of them, doing "a ton of squats, sumo squats, lunges." She also loves getting outside. "I love to hike outside. Recently, I've really enjoyed running again. I honestly find barre workouts overrated," she told The New Potato.

In an interview with Parade, Jana revealed that music helps with her mental health. I've got some new music coming out in a couple of months. I'm excited about that. She Sweats for Mental Health

Jana believes in the mental health benefits of exercise. "Still not feeling 100 percent," she explained in a recent Instagram story. "But I'm still going to run it out, sweat it out." She also considers exercise self-care. "Working out for me is my sanity…Even just going for a walk, that is a place where I come back and I'm like, 'I feel good, I feel balanced. Working out is 100% how I stay level," she told Us Weekly.
