Jennifer Connelly is enjoying an action-packed vacation in Norway with her daughter. Connelly, 53, shared highlights from the trip, including one of her wearing hiking gear, posing for a selfie against a beautiful mountainous background. “Road trip in Norway with my girl. And some llamas 🇳🇴♥️,” she captioned the post. Another picture shows some of the random wildlife sharing the hill with Connelly. The actress is happiest when she’s outdoors in the fresh air—here’s what else makes her happy, fit, and full of energy.
1. Outdoorsy Woman
Connelly is happiest when she’s being active outside. “When I’m not working, we’re with our kids, we’re walking to school, going to soccer matches, spending time in the country,” she told The Guardian. “I’ve always loved being in nature, and in the mountains in particular, and crave it more and more as I get older. If I don’t go outside, I get a little stir crazy. My kids and my husband joke that my favorite go-to line is, ‘Let’s go outside and move around a little.’”
2. Running and Yoga
Connelly runs, does yoga, and follows a vegan diet to stay fit and healthy. “My thought is that even if you only have a few minutes to get a run (or your workout) in, it helps to get your energy going and the blood flowing,” she told New Beauty.
3. Love For David Bowie

Connelly has nothing but fond memories of working with David Bowie on Labyrinth (1986). “Another film with a magic set. David Bowie was adorable and generous,” she told L'OFFICIEL USA. “He had a great sense of humor and made everyone feel at ease in his presence, and I admired him for that.”
4. Beautiful Brows
Connelly rarely allows anyone to touch her beautiful brows. “I don’t get my brows professionally done,” she told New Beauty. “I kind of just wrangle out the stray ones myself without doing too much. The only time that I ever had them trimmed was when I was filming a Beautiful Mind.”
5. Gratitude and Positivity
Connelly is grateful for the experiences, both good and bad, which have brought her where she is. “This might sound trite but the truth is I feel so blessed with where I am,” she told The Guardian. “And even the more uncomfortable chapters that might have been nice to have sidestepped or skipped over, are valuable in some way, and give me perspective to appreciate where I am now, and how things have turned out.”
