1. Whole Food Diet

Jennifer eats very clean. She avoids all processed foods and sticks to the basics, consuming "mostly whole foods—vegetables, beans, grains, fish, nuts, fruit," she revealed to Allure. “I’ve been a vegan for a pretty long time but I do eat fish on occasion depending on where I am and what’s available,” she added to New Beauty.
2. Running
Jennifer’s favorite workout? “I like to run a few times a week,” she told New Beauty. “My thought is that even if you only have a few minutes to get a run (or your workout) in, it helps to get your energy going and the blood flowing.” She added to Allure: “I tried doing jumping lunges for a while. That was dreadful."
3. A “Holistic” Approach to Health
“I’m very much aligned with the philosophy of taking a holistic approach to health, well-being, and beauty. I try to do things that complement each other and work from the inside out,” Jennifer told New Beauty. “I eat well, exercise regularly, and live my life in a pretty balanced and healthy way.”
4. Skiing
Another outdoor activity Jennifer enjoys is skiing. “Greetings from beautiful Zermatt,” she captioned a family photo from the ski lift. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.
5. Yoga
Jennifer also enjoys yoga, “which I’ve been doing for many years,” she told New Beauty. “My thought is that even if you only have a few minutes to get a run (or your workout) in, it helps to get your energy going and the blood flowing.”
