Jennifer Love Hewitt is hitting the gym in her workout gear. In a new social media post the 9-1-1 star shows off her amazing body as she steps into the gym for a session with her personal trainer. How does the former teen star, now 45, stay in shape? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Switching Up Workouts

In a 2013 interview with OK! Magazine, Hewitt discussed her approach to exercise. "I try to switch it up a bit. I've found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing,” she said. "The best trick for me right now is to constantly shock my body into different things. So I never do one thing all week,” she added to Extra.

2. Dancing

Hewitt is a fan of dance fitness, she revealed to OK! Magazine. "I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house." Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

3. Strength Training and Boxing

The actress works out with Leyon Azubuike. Most of their sessions consist of boxing and strength training. “I do a day of push ups and abs,” she reveals. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

4. Workout Classes

Jennifer loves trying out new workout methods and taking classes. I've done this fluidity workout, which is sort of like a cardio bar thing,” she told Extra TV.

5. Running

She also makes sure to get her cardio in. “I do a little bit of running on the treadmill,” she added. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

6. Cycling

Another form of cardio you might find Jennifer doing? “I'll do some riding on bikes,” she says. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

7. Yoga and Pilates

Yoga and Pilates are two other workouts that Jennifer enjoys. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Jennifer Aniston, the beloved star from Friends and a whole roster of hits like The Morning Show and Horrible Bosses, not only dazzles on screen but also rocks her fitness regime. Fresh from a gym session with her buddy—clad in sleek black workout attire and looking absolutely fabulous—she lets us in on how she maintains that enviable physique. Dive in as we uncover five of Jen’s top fitness strategies, complete with stunning snapshots that show just how well they work!

1. She Makes Time For Herself

Aniston shared some of her wellness secrets with Shape Magazine. She says that making time for herself is important to her. "I think it's important. I think you have to have a nice amount of ‘me’ time-whatever it is. Even back [at the start of my career], I'd come home from work and-as corny as it sounds–I would always sit and watch the sunsets because they're so beautiful and it would just be a nice little time to chill out. Now, the morning is my self-care time because it gears me up for the day ahead. For me, that's meditation, which I do first thing when I wake up before I have my coffee, because if I get out of the room I won't sit back down. So I'll start with that to just kind of calm myself before I head out to exercise."

2. She Does Interval Training

Aniston shared some of her favorite workouts with Shape. She says that she does a lot of interval training. "I still love yoga and cardio, but these days it's been interval training. I think muscle confusion and switching it up is important. I work out at Rise Nation [a 30-minute total-body climbing workout] and with my trainer [Rise Nation founder] Jason who just has me carrying really heavy ropes around and throwing medicine balls against walls and stuff. I'd never really done anything like that before, but I love it.”

3. She Takes Fitness Classes

Aniston tells Shape that she likes to take fitness class. “I take the class Taryn Toomey's The Class, which I am in love with because it's sort of a fantastic moving meditation. You get your emotions out, you get your psyche cleaned, you get your body sweating-it checks a lot of boxes. So that's one I'm very into right now. You feel the power of the group energy-it's kind of an extraordinary experience. Not to expose too much, but the first time I did it I was in tears!"

4. She Eats Healthy In The Morning

Aniston shared her typical breakfast with Shape. "I make a quick shake with protein powder, spinach, maca powder, berries, and vitamin C powder I put in there that's pretty good. I'm not a big breakfast person, but I made myself become a breakfast person. I was always one of those people that just didn't eat in the morning but, of course, you're always hearing it's the most important meal of the day so I find that the shake is really good. Sometimes I do a fasted workout and just have a cup of coffee and then go and work out. You actually have more energy than you expect and [burn more calories] because you're dipping into the reserves as opposed to using the food you've just processed and ingested."

5. She’s Living A Healthy Life

Jennifer.AnistonJennifer Aniston/Instagram

Aniston shared some of her secrets for living a healthy life to CR Fashion Book. “I drink a lot of water, move my body daily, try to eat whole, fresh foods, and get as much sleep as I can. That last part is chal- lenging for me, but it’s so important. I feel it when I don’t get enough rest. In addition to all of that, I try to be really mindful about what I let into my head- space. Our world is really going through some challenges, and I know we all care a lot, but sometimes I think it’s imperative that we turn off the noise.”

‘90s teen queen Melissa Joan Hart is killing it at the gym—and the results speak for themselves. Hart, 48, shared a video of herself wearing green pants and a black tank top, lifting weights at the gym. “Getting stronger every day feels amazing! Hit a goal at @bft_brentwood in my military barbell press! 5 reps at 75lbs. Woohoo!!” she captioned the inspiring post. “Dang!!! 75lbs you go!!! I’m not there yet but working on it 👊🏼” commented Candace Cameron Bure. Hart is getting fitter and stronger with every year that passes—here’s how she does it.

1. Social Workouts

Hart loves working out with friends and family. "I make it a social event,” she told Us Weekly. “I chitchat with friends on walks or run with my husband," Hart reveals of her fitness routine. "It's so nice not to be busting out of things or having to wear undergarments to keep things in. I feel good!"

2. Busy Moms Relate

Hart says she has less time for self-care as a middle-aged busy mom. “During the Sabrina years, I had a lot of time for self care, and now I’m trying to squeeze it in,” she told New Beauty. “But it’s funny because I also wore a lot more makeup back then and it was every day, so I think my face care routine has actually gotten simpler over the years. It used to be so complex. I also used to work out diligently when I had the time. Then that went away. I’m back on a great workout program now, though.”

3. She’s a Bookworm

Hart loves to read. “I’m reading two because we recently moved and I haven’t been able to finish them up. ‘The Great Alone’ by Kristin Hannah is about a family who moves to Alaska,” she told Apartment Therapy. “She has a book called ‘The Nightingale’ and I’m obsessed with her writing, it’s so descriptive. My husband and I are also reading ‘The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work,’ it’s really helpful when you’ve been married a long time to rethink how you see each other.”

4. Fan Support

Hart loves the support she gets from her fan base, especially in relation to weight fluctuations and aging. “There’s this nice thing about people that have grown up with me,” she told New Beauty. “While they don’t want me to be older—they all freaked out when I was playing a grandma in a movie last year—they don’t want me to get older because it means they’re older, but they’re still nice to me. I think they’re about it because they’re going through it. It’s relatable. I think everyone else is going through the same things, whether it’s perimenopause or starting to head towards menopause if you grew up at the same time as me. It’s an interesting experiment.”

5. Advice For Younger Generation

Hart says if she could give her sons one piece of wisdom, it’s to be fearless. “Learning to be okay with yourself is huge because then what you think about yourself won’t be dependent on how other people feel about you,” she told New Beauty. I feel like it’s common, especially growing up in the arts, for kids to need validation, but if you’re comfortable with yourself and comfortable in your own skin, you won’t need all that. And just be nice to people. Even if they’re not nice to you back, if you’re nice to people nothing else matters.”

Jesscia Szohr is an actress. She’s best known for her roles in Gossip Girl and The Orville. Szohr shared a gym video on Instagram this month. In it, she is seen lifting weights, doing Russian twists, and doing toe touches. She captioned the post, “I’m no pro at working out…need to straighten my legs more and get deeper in a squat. But at least I’m out here trying. I don’t love the gym or weights but I love how I feel after! Okay- have a great Tuesday.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Jessica Szohr stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Uses Weights

Szohr weight trains, as you can see in her Instagram post. The Mayo Clinic states that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls.”

2. She Does Core Workouts

Jessica Szohr.2Jessica Szohr/Instagram

Szohr also does core workouts, as you can see in her Instagram post. Having a strong core has a lot of benefits. Harvard Health states that good balance is one of them. “Your core stabilizes your body, allowing you to move in any direction, even on the bumpiest terrain, or stand in one spot without losing your balance. Viewed this way, core exercises can lessen your risk of falling.”

3. She Does Pilates

Szohr likes to do Pilates to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing exercises and stretches on a reformer. Szohr captioned the post, “Exercise = Extra Fries… right?” Better Health states that Pilates has a lot of benefits. “Pilates (or the Pilates method) is a series of exercises inspired by calisthenics, yoga and ballet. Pilates promotes mobility and strength of all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fashion, whilst also having a key focus on the deep core muscles. It improves posture, flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness.”

4. She Hikes

Szohr shared these photos on Instagram of herself hiking. Piedmont states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise, which builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis.”

5. She Zip Lines

Jessica SzohrJessica Szohr/Instagram

Szohr likes to zip line. In 2022, she shared these photos and a video on Instagram of her family on a ropes course. Dani Elle Speegle isn’t just strong—she’s unstoppable. The elite CrossFit athlete and social media sensation has built a massive following by sharing her intense training sessions and inspiring fitness moments. Recently, she posted a series of weightlifting photos on Instagram, proving once again why she’s a powerhouse in the gym.

“Just a girl and her barbell,” she captioned the post, letting her strength do the talking. From lifting heavy to outdoor adventures, here’s how Speegle stays in peak condition.

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram post, Speegle is seen lifting weights. According to ACE Fitness, doing this has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

She Golfs

Speegle likes to golf to keep herself in shape. She shared a video of herself on the course in this Instagram post. According to Randa aerobic exercise. “Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise. On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

She's Into Jumping Rope

Speegle shared this video on Instagram of herself competing in Crossfit events. In it, she is seen jumping rope. According to The Cleveland Clinic, jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “Benefits of jump rope can help improve your coordination, get your heart rate going and help burn calories — and it’s an easy, affordable way to get some cardio in.”

She Hikes

Speegle likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself hiking the Koko Head Summit. Speegle captioned the post, “Woke up and chose pain today. Every 45 min X 3 rounds: Koko head 💀💀💀 Then sat in my car and stared into the abyss while munching on Banan 🥲🥲🥲”

She Does Cold Plunges

Speegle makes sure to recover. One thing she likes to do is cold plunges. Speegle shared this video of herself jumping into a tub. According to The Mayo Clinic, these have a lot of benefits. “Research on cold-water immersion has found evidence that it helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day. These benefits may be the result of rapid constriction of the blood vessels due to the cold water. The cold can trigger responses in your body, such as decreased metabolic activity, alterations in hormone production and blood flow, and activation of the immune system.”

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises

Discover how Tvesa Malik, SuperSport Ladies Championship winner, stays in peak shape with weightlifting, core work, and golf.

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises
Tvesa Malik / Instagram

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

She Uses A Stairclimber

And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”
