Jessica Alba is an actress and a phenomenal entrepreneur. She’s known for her roles in Dark Angel, Good Luck Chuck, and Fantastic Four. She recently shared some highlights from a trip to the Cenotes on Instagram. In them, she and some friends went swimming. Alba captioned the post, “A glimpse into the most magical afternoon visiting the cenotes.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Jessica Alba stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She’s All About Self-Care

Alba talked about the importance of self-care in an interview with InStyle. "I think self-care is interesting. I think it's important whether you're a mom or not. And I think creating a way to preserve your time and really it's really forcing that sacred time that you need to just ground yourself and center yourself. Even just spending three minutes breathing and focusing on air that's coming into your nose and out of your mouth is so important. I didn't realize how important that self-care was and carving out that time."

2. She Gets Enough Sleep

Alba shared her secrets for getting enough sleep in an interview with Shape Magazine. "Sleep is the foundation; a good night's sleep is your chance for your body to repair itself and start your day on the right foot," she says. “The key [to a good night's sleep] is being disciplined about not being on my devices at least 30 minutes before bed. Doing things that bring you calm and relaxation as part of your night time ritual is super important.”

3. She’s Comfortable With Herself

Alba talked about her journey to finding confidence in her body in an interview with Cosmopolitan. "It's certainly been a journey to become this body confident. As a teenager - and even in my 20s - I always saw the negative and didn't focus on the positive, and then I felt like being part of something so life-altering and profound like having a child just made me feel differently about it all. I also thought 'how do I want my girls to feel about their bodies?' I don't want them to have certain hang-ups, so my attitude to myself shifted.”

4. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Alba shared her fitness secrets with Shape Magazine. She says that she likes to do a lot of different things. "I try to work out with Ramona [Braganza, her longtime trainer] when I can, but we keep my fitness routine flexible — I'm not overly stringent with it. I'll rotate strength training, dancing, cycling, yoga, and walking. Mixing it up makes it easier for me to stick with it."

5. She Boosts Her Mood

Alba shared her favorite ways to boost her mood in her Shape interview. “It's also important to support your mood because we live in such a high stress world and in my opinion, health and happiness go hand in hand. Meditation helps tremendously. Going on a short walk, listening to upbeat music, looking at photos that bring you joy, or calling a loved one or someone that makes you laugh are also helpful for getting out of a funk."

Jessica Alba is dancing in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the 43-year-old actress looks half her age in a black bikini, dancing to Charli XCX’s Apple. “I heard it’s a #brat summer 💚,” she captioned the Instagram Reel. “Absolutely stunning,” commented one of her followers. “Lovely 😍,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Ramona Braganza’s 321 Method

Jessica is a big fan of her longtime trainer Ramona Braganza’s 321 Training Method, created specifically for the actress. “I developed it when Jessica Alba and I were shooting many films on location so I needed something effective, requiring minimal equipment, flexible whether you have 20 minutes, half an hour, or a full hour to train,” the celebrity trainer tells Celebwell.

2. Hiking

Alba mixes up her workouts so she doesn’t get bored. Braganza told Harper’s Bazaar that they sometimes hike together. “Sometimes when the gym is absolutely not what Jessica wants, we will go outside and walk the hills near her home.”

3. Three Cardio Exercises, Two Circuits, One Core Exercise

The 3-2-1 Method starts with three cardio exercises. “An example of cardio could be either treadmill, spinning, or dance. Next up, the 2, which translates to two circuits. “Usually it’s three in a row exercises that train specific body parts on different days,” Braganza tells us. Then, one part core. “Twisting moves target obliques and transverse, the muscle that cinches in the waist,” are an exercise that Jess demonstrates in a recent workout video.

4. Meditation Before and After Workouts

Braganza reveals that Jessica gets her zen on before and after her workouts. “Our workouts have become more of a mind body spirit evolution as Jess is now in her 40s which includes meditation before we train that raises our vibrations to give us a positive mindset and finishes with a gratitude meditation,” she says.

5. Confidence In Herself

“Before becoming a mom, my femininity was defined by society’s standards of what it means to be desirable to men,” Jessica told The Cut. “Now I understand what feeling powerful from a woman’s point of view means. It has nothing to do with whether someone desires you, it’s more about how connected you feel to yourself. You end up attracting people when you’re confident and you feel good in your skin. And that’s a by-product of being connected to your feminine energy.”

Exposure to light might make it more challenging to fall asleep. Avoid prolonged use of light-emitting screens just before bedtime. So yeah, I think that that kind of definitely put it in a full-speed stop."

They’ll throw balls around, and I’m going, ‘You can’t throw balls in the house! That’s our lamp!'”

5. Self-Care

Alba starts the day with some gentle self-care. “In the mornings, I put on a face mask and a thick swipe of lip balm so I can be under this layer of hydration while I’m getting my coffee,” she says. “My son is always like, ‘Mommy, what’s that?’ Every time he looks over at me when I’ve got the mask on, it’s like he’s seeing me for the first time. But it reminds me that I’m allowed to take care of myself as well. It’s a little bit of tender loving care to start the day.”

Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Jogging

Brenda enjoys jogging. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Walking Her Dog

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Dancing

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

Swimming

Brenda spends a lot of time in her swimsuit so it isn’t surprising she loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

Hydration

Finally, Brenda hydrates, especially after a long workout or sun exposure. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Cats rely on volunteers for their food and water and there’s a huge amount of them. There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats . We feed close to 200 and when Batman got paralyzed took him and other special needs cats under my care … @stevensachs69 with the cat room and the amazing people involved devote their lives to these special souls … My life has changed a lot too … way less spare time, way more sweat and tears and lost the person I had by my side who had sadly other priorities … yet gained so much love from these lovely creatures !!! If you can please get involved in any way … follow @helpmiamicats , share, volunteer, adopt … donate … Only together we can make their world a better place !!! And yes … just me feeding the kitties and talking to them … 🤷🏻♀️👀😆❤️🙌”
