Jessica Lowndes is heating up British Columbia in her bathing suit. In a recent social media post the 90210 star shows off her amazing body in a swimsuit while on vacay with her family. “The perfect family getaway,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps, including one of herself in a hot tub clinking glasses with her sister, Jacqui. How does the 35-year-old approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

1. Healthy Food

“I live a healthy lifestyle and I crave healthy food,” Jessica dished to Cosmo UK. “I love porridge, I have bizarre cravings for it. I love it with brown sugar and bananas, and I'm a huge fan of cinnamon – I put cinnamon on everything.” Jessica revealed that she has “a sweet tooth” and “I don't like to deprive myself,” she continued. “I think everything in moderation is the key.” For dinner she loves salmon and beetroot salads, “but any kind of grilled fish with veggies is amazing,” she says.

2. Circuit Training

“A lot of the time” Jessica is “on location or living out of a suitcase,” so she doesn’t have time to go to the gym. “So basically all I do is sit-ups, push-ups and jumping jacks (or star-jumps as you call them!) lunges and the plank, and you repeat it five times,” she told Cosmo UK. “I love circuit training where you can do five exercises, 15-20 reps of each exercise, and I do it five times in a row – it only takes twenty minutes, and you can do it anywhere. You feel instantly better.”

3. Hydration

Closeup,Water,Pouring,Into,Glass,With,Ice,On,Green,BlurredShutterstock

Jessica also makes sure to hydrate. “I drink a lot of water – it speeds up your metabolism, makes everything run smoothly, and it makes your skin glow,” she told Cosmo. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

4. Yoga

Jessica, who describes herself as “a pretty active person” that is “always on the go,” has a workout that calms her down. “I love yoga,” she said. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

5. Personal Trainers

Jessica relies on professionals to help her with her routine. “If I'm in LA and have time, I love going to the gym and I work with different trainers, so it's something I've just picked up,” she said.

"I use this every other day,” Jossa says. “This is like the face mist from my BPerfect range (£12.95), but honestly it's the best thing I've ever been a part of, I absolutely love it. You know like when you come up with something new and you hope it's good? This is actually a game-changer for me, because you wake up looking like you've just been on holiday. I literally just spray it before I go to bed.”

The Conners star Emma Kenney is thrilled for some sunshine after lots of overcast weather. Kenney, who plays Harris Conner-Healy on the ABC comedy, shared pictures of herself wearing a swimsuit and jean shorts, posing by a car while snacking on a popsicle. “Haven’t seen the sun in a while,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Kenney feels about her role on the show, and what her plans for the future are.

1. Growing Up On TV

Kenney grew up on TV thanks to her role on Shameless. “Growing up on TV the way I did is something I never expected,” she says. “Nobody knew we would go on and on and on for over a decade! I definitely didn’t think that when I was so young and booked the job. It’s a special feeling to have a lot of people be able to connect and relate to you, even though I don’t know them personally.”

2. Dog Mom

Kenney kept busy during the pandemic lockdowns by taking care of her dogs, and doing other things that make her happy. “I have 4 rescue dogs, so I’m constantly on dog mom duty, which I thrive from,” she says. “So a lot of dog adventures, road trips, I started cooking, baking bread like so many of us, and tons of random crafts and FaceTime with my friends.”

3. Proud of The Conners

Los,Angeles,-,Aug,05:,Emma,Kenney,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Kenney is thrilled to be a part of The Connors after all these years. “I think that all of us are very professional,” she says. “And there’s just so many more stories that need to be told through the Conner family and so many other different aspects of life that we’re going to get to tell, and I’m really excited and grateful for that.”

4. Reality TV Fan

Shutterstock

Kenney likes to relax in the evenings, focusing on her skincare routine and watching reality TV with her family. “I never go to sleep with my makeup on (I also rarely wear makeup), moisturize and always use sunscreen,” she says. “I love La Mer and use it almost exclusively. Reality shows are my guilty pleasure. I just binge-watched Making of a Model with my mom.”

5. Self-Love and Her Future Plans

Kenney is all about being down to earth when it comes to self-care. “Self-love, to me, kind of goes hand in hand with the best acting advice I have received, which is to not judge yourself or take yourself too seriously!” she says. Kenney has big plans for the future. “I definitely want to further pursue directing. I haven’t in a long time since pre-Shameless! I was young. But my biggest passion is photography, and that’s something I am really enjoying lately. I strictly shoot on film.”

Hallmark and Great American Family Star Jessica Lowndes Shares Swimsuit Photos

Jessica Lowndes, the actor and singer, is best known for her Hallmark movies (Over the Moon in Love, Mix Up in the Mediterranean, Christmas at Pemberley Manor), but a new deal with Great American Family is already paying off: She writing the movies she’s starring in (check out Harmony from the Heart). As an artist, her journey has taken an intriguing turn, transitioning from acting to music and screenwriting. Lowndes has opened up about her musical roots, the driving force behind her music career, and her passion for crafting stories that resonate. With insights into her creative process and remarkable collaborations, discover how she's shaping her path in entertainment, one artistic venture at a time—and check out the swimsuit photo she shared, which she captioned "Swipe to see some Summer highlights!"

1. She’s a Musician

“I grew up in a really musical household,” she told Bringin' it Backwards. “And then my dad's family are all singers and piano players as well, and musicians, but I guess I would've, I don't know, I guess I started singing when I was a kid and then got into acting professionally when I was 14. And at the time I was a kid, I'm going to focus strictly on acting, and then I'll put music kind of over here, even though I love it so much. And this summer before I moved down to LA, I'd had this little breakup and I—with my friend—went into the garage and wrote this 'I Hate Men' EP … and then did nothing with it. I literally had it on a CD burner and left it in my laptop case. And what was so crazy is after I moved to LA, one of my first trips back to Vancouver, I was sitting next to this guy on a plane and we were just talking about music. I had no idea what he did, and I gave him my demo CD that had Sharpie on it, and I was like, here's my music. Dunno if you're interested, but here you go. And he ended up being a producer on this CBS show called Moonlight, and they ended up buying one of my songs from that ep.”

2. This is What Sparked Her Music Career

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - JULY 26: Actress Jessica Lowndes attends the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries summer 2019 TCA press tour event at a Private Residence on July 26, 2019 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic)Getty Images

“I think I had been going through a breakup at the time and had lots of stuff to get out,” she told Bringin’ it Backwards, “Music has always been very cathartic for me in such a huge form of therapy. And so that was part of it. But I also was just really passionate about this story, about reconnecting with your inner child and really healing. And it was such a healing time as well. And so I just thought it was really cool to just have the music reflect that. And what I like is it's a blending of genres where it starts in one place and ends up somewhere completely different. And that's the story arc as well.”

3. She Loves Creating

EDISON, NEW JERSEY - DECEMBER 10: Jessica Lowndes and Paul Greene attend Christmas Con New Jersey 2022 at Expo Center on December 10, 2022 in Edison, New Jersey. (Photo by Emily Assiran/Getty Images for That’s 4 Entertainment)Getty Images

“I love creating, I love telling stories, writing stories, and I feel like music and now screenwriting are just such a great way to get those stories out there and impact people and help people. And yeah, it's my favorite thing ever. It doesn't feel like work for me at all. It's one of my favorite things to do. So even on my days off when I'm not filming, I literally, I'm usually doing Discord sessions with them in LA or in the studio, or just creating something or screenwriting. It's always something. I'm just doing something creative,” she said on the show.

4. She’s Part of Great American Family Now

UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 01: Actress Jessica Lowndes visits Hallmark Channel's "Home & Family" at Universal Studios Hollywood on October 01, 2019 in Universal City, California. (Photo by Paul Archuleta/Getty Images)Getty Images

Lowndes, although known for her Hallmark films, also appears in movies on the Great American Family Network now, and is writing the movies, too, she told Hallmark Happenings. “I just feel so blessed and fortunate to be a part of GAC family and Bill Abbott [President and CEO of GAC Media] has always been such an incredible supporter of me, of my writing. And so a couple of years ago I wrote “Over the Moon in Love” for Hallmark and he was a huge reason why that happened. And then when he moved to GAC family, he brought me on board as a writer and gave me such an incredible opportunity to hone in on that skill and I'm eternally grateful to him….It means the world to me. And I think it's also, it's a beautiful story about love and romance, but more importantly, it's a story about hope and resilience and I hope the viewers take away from, I hope the viewers can take that away from this.”

5. This is How She Writes

On writing, she says, “It's the best feeling in the world from start to finish. It's incredible,” she told Hallmark Happenings. “I feel like my baby is seeing the light of day this week and yeah, it's been four years in the making. I had had a weird year a couple years ago with work where I was auditioning and pilot season after pilot season, and I was getting down to the final two and I wasn't booking. And so I decided that I was going to go home every night and write for just one hour, and that was the script, and I wasn't doing it for anybody else other than me. And to remind myself why I became an actress and why I got into this industry in the first place. And I fell in love with it and it was challenging. It was hard, but I wanted to do it. And then it turned into this whole thing."

The Bold and the Beautiful star Jennifer Gareis had a wonderful trip to Lake Tahoe with her family, and posted the photos of her vacation on social media. Gareis, 53, shared pictures of herself paddleboarding on the lake in a black bikini, looking absolutely stunning as she soaked up the sun. “My dad was a sweetheart and actually got in the water to take these pictures so I feel obligated to show a few of them! Thanks dad for your hard work to get these 📸 #southlaketahoe #dadsanddaughters #paddleboarding #familyvacation #familyiseverything #lakelife😎,” she captioned the post. Gareis works hard to stay in shape and eat a healthy diet—here’s how she does it.

1. Her Workout Routine

Pasadena,,Ca,Usa,-,June,18,,2022.,Jennifer,Gareis,AttendsShutterstock

Gareis lifts weights and does Pilates. “I like to shock my body every once in a while with something new because if I do the same thing every day, I get bored," she says. "I swim. We have a pool at home. I use my home gym. I go to the gym and do it on my own and sometimes I’ll use a trainer. I’m training with weights. Today, I did Pilates. Pilates works the smaller muscles, whereas lifting works the bigger muscles. I always try to incorporate three things: cardio, stretching and lifting. Sometimes, I’ll walk with my cousin, just put on my sunblock and my hat and we’ll go power walking, or maybe go to the beach and take a really nice beach run — just as long as I’m doing something. But don’t forget to rest.”

2. Healthy Balanced Diet

Los,Angeles,-,Mar,17:,Jennifer,Gareis,At,The,50thShutterstock

Gareis enjoys a healthy, well-rounded diet for herself and her family. “I eat healthy about 90 percent of the time: protein, vegetables, fruit, yogurt and milk,” she says. “I always try to prepare a well-rounded meal. For breakfast, I will make a veggie omelet or I will make pancakes, but I make oatmeal pancakes now, as opposed to making them with flour. We’ll squeeze fresh orange juice. For lunch, we all have those containers that have five different spaces and I make sure I have every little food group. At dinner, I will have four kinds of vegetables, and one, sometimes two proteins. I’ll have a complex carb, like brown rice. Sometimes, I’ll get a pasta that has quinoa in it instead. My kids don’t know the difference and they love it.”

3. Wake Surfing On the Lake

Gareis also did some wake surfing on her Lake Tahoe vacation, and posted the video on Instagram. “I figured out how to let go of the rope and navigate the wave! I am now completely addicted!!!!” she captioned the post. “Wakesurfing is a great way to release stress and tension,” says Krish Tangella, MD, MBA, FCAP. “The combination of physical activity and being out on the water can have a calming effect on the mind and body.”

4. Family Bond

Gareis loves spending time with her family, which experts say offers benefits both mental and physical. "There have been more than 20 years of dozens of studies that document that family dinners are great for the body, the physical health, the brains and academic performance, and the spirit or the mental health," says family therapist Anne Fishel. "In terms of nutrition, cardiovascular health is better in teens, there's lower fat and sugar and salt in home cooked meals even if you don't try that hard, there's more fruit, and fiber, and vegetables, and protein in home cooked meals, and lower calories. Kids who grow up having family dinners, when they're on their own tend to eat more healthily and to have lower rates of obesity."

5. Role Model

Gareis wants to set a good example for her children when it comes to health and nutrition. “I don’t like the word ‘diet’, for myself or for parenting," she says. "When I talk to my kids, I talk about growing foods. We talk about avocado being brain food, or protein will help build your muscles, and milk will help your bones. We talk about all the positives of food. I never say, ‘Oh, this is fattening,’ or ‘No, this is bad for you.’ I just say, ‘First, we eat our growing food, and then we can have dessert.’"

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
