Kelly Ripa is glowing and showing off her gorgeous figure. In a new social media post the talk show host poses with her longtime husband, Mark Consuelos, in her swimsuit. “Sunset with sexy,” she captioned the Instagram Stories image. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is how to incorporate her healthiest habits into your life.

1. Drink Your Greens

Kelly has worked with nutritionist, Dr. Daryl Gioffre, for many years. He detailed her diet to E! News, revealing that she starts with a morning cocktail – a scoop of his Acid-Kicking Green powder (dehydrated greens) from his brand Alkamind with a glass of water. "You have to eat your greens," he says. "But when you get it in the form of a green juice, what's happening is you're getting all those nutrients into the greens and you're getting a huge amount of greens in just eight-ounce servings."

2. Enjoy the Perks of Caffeine

Ripa also drinks a cup of coffee blended with grass-fed butter and Acid-Kicking Coffee Alkalizer. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

3. Eat Healthy Fats

For lunch Kelly enjoys a salad with microgreens, sprouts, avocado and raw nuts, offering lots of healthy fats. She also snacks on raw nuts throughout the day. "Instead of going for the unhealthy snack, she's always prepared," Gioffre says. "And that's the big mantra: 'Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.'"

4. Eat Enough Protein

For dinner Ripa will have another salad, but she will add in some steamed vegetables or some sauteed vegetables or some grilled greens, he says. "And she likes to have the vegetables in season because they're just better for you. And then she'll have a protein and that could be grilled tofu or tahini or some fish protein."

5. Indulge in Dessert, But Make It Healthy

Kelly indulges in dessert, but makes sure it is healthy. One of her go-tos is a avocado chocolate mousse, made with avocados, pure vanilla extract, raw cacao, dates and sea salt. She also likes chocolate chia pudding for fiber.
