She Loves Her Pets

She loves snuggling with animals. “More life,” she said on Instagram, on a slideshow of her living life, and spending time with pets. According to News in Health, “interacting with animals has been shown to decrease levels of cortisol (a stress-related hormone) and lower blood pressure. Other studies have found that animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood.”

She Dances

She likes to dance to stay active and in shape. “Lil ting,” she said on Instagram, on a video of her dancing with a friend. According to Better Health, “dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including improved condition of your heart and lungs, increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness, increased aerobic fitness, improved muscle tone and strength,” and more.

She Kayaks

She gets out on the water and kayaks to stay active. “Summer,” she said on Instagram, smiling ear to ear. According to Better Health, “canoeing and kayaking are low impact activities that can improve your aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility. Specific health benefits include improved cardiovascular fitness, increased muscle strength, particularly in the back, arms, shoulders and chest, from moving the paddle,” and more.

She's Grateful

She’s grateful, appreciating the support from her community in life and through social media. “Merry christmas & happy holidays ☁️ hope your day is full of light & you’re surrounded by people you love. grateful for u. love u the most,” she said on Instagram. According to UCLA Health, “gratitude can be a coping tool for anxiety. Regularly practicing gratitude combats negative thinking patterns by keeping thoughts focused on the present. If you find yourself focusing on negative thoughts about the past or future, challenge yourself to find something you are grateful for now. It will break the negative thought process and return you to the present.”

She's Peaceful

She looks for peace and calmness in her life, appreciating the little moments. “Give peace a chance,” she said on Instagram on a video of her spending time with friends, indulging in delicious healthy foods, playing with pets, watching the sunset, and soaking in the view by the water.
