1. She Doesn’t Crash Diet
Amber told Closer that you will never find her starving herself. “There are fitness fanatics who train three times a day, every day, and then eat nothing. I put on a stone, then lost it, but I’ve made sure I haven’t let my diet and fitness take over my life. I’m not fitness obsessed. I wanted to do something that was sustainable and would also make me feel better mentally. I could never do a crash diet – I love my food.”
2. She Indulges on Occasion

Amber maintains a healthy diet but allows herself to eat the food she loves in moderation. For breakfast she might eat oats with fruit and honey for breakfast, a tomato and mozzarella or avocado salad for lunch, and salmon, greens and potatoes for dinner.
3. Staying Healthy Helps Her Stay Happy

“I feel so much happier now and I feel this pandemic has taught us that it’s so important to look after yourself at the moment – both physically and mentally,” Amber told Closer about how physical and mental health are connected. “Staying in contact with friends and family virtually, eating well and exercising all helps. I feel really positive and ready for this year.”
4. She Exercises
Fitness is a priority for Amber. “I train four times a week with my programme for 20 minutes at a time. I’m using my own body weight for resistance, which is the biggest surprise as I’ve always done weights at the gym. It’s amazing to see how effective it is and proves it is possible to work out effectively when we’ve been told to stay at home,” she told Closer.
5. She Is All About Self-Care
“I am the queen of self-care,” Amber confessed to Women’s Health. “I like to get massages or have bubble baths and do face masks. For me, it’s about taking a day off, a rest day – that means no home workouts, no phone and just doing things I enjoy. It’s a really good reset so that when I come back to work, I feel more inspired and creative.” She also has another way she takes care of herself. “I know stretching doesn’t sound like self-care but when you’re training quite hard, it’s so important to stretch: it’s like a thank you to your body. ‘Thank you for doing all the work, I’m going to reward you a little bit now.’”
