Malavika Mohanan is getting her sweat on – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the actress flaunts her fit figure in a crop top and leggings, sharing a motivational message with her followers. “Firing up the routine with @klinton81 as there’s just one week left for my next schedule to begin 💪🏻,” she writes in the Instagram caption. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Consistency and Discipline

In her recent post, Malavika explains that her motivation to exercise has changed. “Workout for me started off as wanting to work on the aesthetics of my body, but now has become something else entirely. Watching my own strength and resilience increase gradually and to watch my body now do things which in the past have felt seemingly impossible makes me realise the power of ‘one day at a time’ and how the only 2 things you need(which are also the hardest) are consistency and discipline to grow in pretty much anything you set out to do 💪🏻.”

2. Very Little Alcohol

Malavika.Mohanan.1Malavika Mohanan/Instagram

Malavika tries not to drink her calories. “I try not to drink too often because I workout and eat healthy. But I do enjoy it every once in while. I like pretty much all kinds of liquor, depending on where I am and what the occasion is. But I do particular enjoy trying out different kinds of cocktails!” she told Binge Daily..

3. Veggie Juice

Malavika is a fan of juicing. “What I eat for breakfast when I’m eating healthy 🍃 -Vegetable juice(Usually a mix of 2-3 differently coloured vegetables/occasionally a fruit too. Here it’s beetroot, celery and apple 🍎 . I know it’s way healthier just to eat a fruit but I find these juices to be a quick vitamin drink when I’m having an extremely crazy day and don’t have too much time to eat too many things),” she revealed in an Instagram post.

4. Protein Packed Diet

Malavika.Mohanan.2Malavika Mohanan/Instagram

Malavika consumes a lot of protein. Sometimes she will have muesli or granola and yogurt for breakfast or a snack. “I either eat it with yogurt for breakfast or snack on it in the evenings if I’m shooting in a place where there’s no healthy snack options available around,” she revealed on Instagram. She also loves egg white omelets “with lots of veggies,” she said. “Morning protein! (I hate eating vegetables 🤢 I only like potato, which really doesn’t serve the purpose of vegetable-eating for fibre & other minerals. So I try to mix it up as much as I can with other preparations like eggs or cutlets or curries so I don’t have to eat it in a salad form 🤓),” she added.

5. Exercise

“I wouldn’t call myself a fitness freak, but through my schooling years, I was majorly into athletics. I really liked sports and sprint running,” Malavika told The New Indian Express. “Currently, I am on a very strict diet regime — strict workouts and stunt classes. So, right now, I am 200 per cent a fitness freak.”

Indian actress Malaika Arora recently opened her own yoga studio and based on her social media updates, is well qualified for the job. Arora, 50, shared a video of herself wearing purple shorts and a black sports bra, doing a full Vinyasa yoga workout on a mat. “Yoga is not just a workout …. It’s a way of life for me 🧘‍♀️. #powervinyasaflow @thedivayoga,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Arora lives her best, healthiest, and happiest life.

1. Yoga By Malaika

Arora is thrilled to open her own yoga studio, something is deeply passionate about. “I was introduced to yoga years ago when I suffered an injury, and since then my love affair with it has only become stronger,” she told Elle India. “So when the opportunity to be a part of Diva Yoga came my way, I jumped at it. It’s in sync with my beliefs about fitness, my love for yoga, and more importantly, I’ve always wanted to create a yoga studio that was dedicated to women.”

2. Weight Training and Pilates

Arora works out every day, mixing up yoga, weight training, and Pilates. “I make it a point to practice yoga every day; if not at the studio then a quick 20-minute routine at home,” she told Elle India. “Just practicing a few basic asanas every morning can really make a difference to the rest of my day. Besides that, I do some Pilates and weight training through the week to build strength, to train the mind and lengthen the body. I really wish I could be more outdoorsy, but I don’t enjoy running because I find it very hard on my knees. I do try to fit in a swim when I’m traveling.”

3. DIY Skin and Hair Treatments

Bright,Egg,Yolks,,Oatflakes,,Honey,,Lavender,With,Cosmetic,Brush,Closeup,Shutterstock

Arora freezes papaya, potato and tomato into ice cubes and uses them as a cold face treatment. She also makes hair masks out of egg, coconut oil, and banana. “During COVID, I started experimenting and using natural products and I was using coconut oil on my hair once a week,” celebrity extensionist Priscilla Valles told Vogue. “The hydration and shine it provides is beyond amazing.”

4. Relaxation Activities

Arora likes to wind down and relax with massages, or cleaning her house. “Massage therapy is safe and effective for people of all ages,” massage therapist Ivy Conrad, M.S.S.G.-L., tells the Mayo Clinic. “It's not only a feel-good way to indulge or pamper yourself. It's a powerful tool to help you take charge of your health and well-being, whether you have a specific health condition or are looking for a stress reliever.”

5. Fitness Encouragement For Newbies

Arora has good advice for anyone starting out on their fitness journey. “The fact that you’ve begun is the best thing,” she told Elle India. “You have got to push your mind, stay dedicated and look at your routine as a slow transformation, to stay on track. Don’t treat your workout like a quick-fix, it’s something that should be a part of your lifestyle if you want to reap its benefits. Creating your own fitness routine should be like getting into a long-term relationship.”

When it comes to fitness, it depends on what job Mohanan is doing at the moment. “As an actor now, I think it really depends on the role,” she tells Indulge Express. “For instance, when I was doing Christy, I completely stopped working out because I couldn’t look too toned. I needed to have a more real body for a character like that. My muscles couldn’t look too tight, my triceps couldn’t be showing. As soon as Christy got over, I started working out for Pa. Ranjith’s film required me to be very fit. Currently, I am on a very strict diet regime — strict workouts and stunt classes. So, right now, I am 200 percent a fitness freak.”

Thank you @0763.shankarofficial for being so patient with me, while I continue discovering this beautiful world.”

5. She Works With A Trainer

Being an absolute foodie, it takes everything in my power to follow a strict and clean diet. But, that doesn’t stop me from indulging in some of my favorite foods over the weekend. I love my sushi and my soup noodles but most of all, I have such a sweet tooth. I am a total sucker for anything sweet: chocolates, desserts, ice cream, you name it, and it is on my cravings-list.”

As part of my self-care routine, I always like to feel fresh on-the-go even on a hectic day of being outdoors. This is where I depend on deodorant to always help me feel confident, instantly refreshing my mind and mood.”

1. Strength Training

In the video, Ashika does a variety of strength training exercises including jumping jacks, burpees, squats, deadlifts, knee ups, sled pushes, kettlebell swings, and lunges.

2. Pilates

Ashika is a Pilates devotee, sharing lots of social media posts of herself on the reformer. “Many moods of Pilates Miss hanging around.. 💪🏻” she captioned a curation of snaps. According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

3. Yoga and Meditation

Woman,Doing,Exercises,Yoga,Asana,Pose,Workout,In,The,StudioShutterstock

Ashika enjoys the mind-body connection of yoga and meditation. “I have been doing yoga and meditation for some time now, , which is helping me find balance,” she told Times of India. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

4. AMRAP Workouts

Ashika is also a fan of AMRAP workouts – as many reps as possible. She recently shared a 12-minute session with her followers. In it she does:

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Krisitn Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

Many fans saw this as subtle shade toward Phaedra Parks, who excelled in the previous season.

Beyond the headlines, Glanville has shared glimpses into her personal wellness routine, from skincare secrets to unconventional self-care methods. Here’s a look at how she stays feeling and looking her best.

Brandi is seen walking her dog

Brandi Glanville/Instagram

Glanville likes to walk her dogs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her pup walking in Los Angeles. Glanville captioned the post, “On our way to do some podcasting.” Harvard Health says that walking is very beneficial. “Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.”

She Has A Dog

As you can see from the previous Instagram post, Glanville has pet dogs. And according to Harvard Health, this can be beneficial. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. "I mean, to be honest, I haven't worn a crop top in years, and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre," she says. "Not that I feel like everyone should do that, but I can go work out with a crop top on and not feel like I have my mommy stomach and I shouldn't sit down. So it's definitely empowered me in that aspect."
