Megan starts the day off with a healthy drink. “I've started drinking oil of oregano in the morning. 4 drops diluted in water. I've heard it's very good for your digestion and it's been really helping me in that way. All year round I take Vitamin C, Vitamin D, a form of probiotic and cod liver oil and they seem to keep me feeling fit and healthy,” she told Well Curated.
2. Gluten-Free Diet
“The only strict diet I stick to is eating gluten-free foods. This isn't so much a diet for me but just what works for me, I'm intolerant to it and haven't eaten it since I was 17,” Megan said about her diet. “I was reluctant at first to stop eating it when I was told to but as soon as I cut it out my diet, wow I felt the difference dramatically. I suffered from stomach problems so I felt the difference quite quickly and never looked back. But I do think it's also a great diet in some ways as it made me pick healthier options when on set, having to go for the less processed food choices generally.”
3. What She Eats in a Day

Megan starts the day with Gluten-free pancakes. “I make them myself,” she says. For lunch she has a chicken salad and iced tea, followed by fish tacos for dinner. She snacks on “fruit, fruit and more fruit.” Her guilty pleasure food? “Chocolate; it’s my addiction,” she told StyleCaster.
4. Pilates
Megan’s favorite workout is Pilates, she revealed to StyleCaster. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
5. Hydration
Megan’s biggest health tip, especially for travelers? “Stay hydrated and drink loads of water to keep your skin fresh,” she said. Her go-to drink is coconut water. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
5. Prioritizing Wellness
“Wellness is so much more to me than what instantly pops into most of our minds… good body, good skin etc. Wellness to me is a whole package, when your body, mind and spirit are all working to benefit each other,” Megan explained to Well Curated. “For example if I don't feel good in my mind I often get aches and pains in my body and won't do things that are good for me like working out and I won’t eat the things that make me feel good. So wellness for me is more a mindset. If my mindset is positive or is using the right tools to cope with the rollercoaster of life, everything else seems to fall into place. So I put time into realising the habits that benefit me and make me feel good.”
