Megan Young is a model, actress, and former Miss World contestant. She and her husband, Mikeal Daez, ran in the recent Run For Wellness. Young shared a reel on Instagram of the experience. She captioned the post, “5km finisher!! I wasn’t much of a runner and only did it so that I could get some cardio in. The past year and a half has been life changing for me though as I’ve started to conquer the challenge of running more than my usual 3km. This year’s #RunForWellness was inspiring and I had so much fun with Fofo as we’re running towards embracing our health and wellbeing.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Megan Young stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Runs

As you can see from her Instagram post, Young likes to run to stay in shape. FloTrack states that running is a great way to stay in shape. “Running and jogging is an aerobic exercise, and you’re working out both your heart and lungs while doing so. This will also lead to a lower resting heart rate, lower bad cholesterol in your blood and lower blood pressure. You don’t need to run an obscene amount of miles every day to get these benefits, either. Those who just run a couple of minutes a day decrease their risk of cardiovascular death by 58 percent. If you have a hard time running, you can still give your heart a workout by jogging or walking.”

2. She Walks

Young and her husband like to go on walks together. They shared this Instagram video on their accounts of themselves walking through Ilocos Norte. Daez captioned the post, “Ilocos Norte is beautiful!! ❤️‍🔥 From the heritage sites to the food, to the beaches and the lovely people— we can’t wait to go back for an extended vacay.”

3. She Swims

Young and Daez also like to swim together. They shared this reel on Instagram of the couple going to the beach and going for a dip. Daez captioned the post, “One of the best perks of living in the province is being so close to the beach. Literally, 15 minutes after waking up, here we are. It's just a hassle when your husband bullies you hahaha."

4. She Weight Trains

Young likes to weight train to stay in shape. She and Daez shared this video on Instagram of herself lifting a barbell. Daez captioned the post, “Boneezy and I are finally back at the gym! That's it! Even in deadlifts, Bonez wants to give it a try. On a more serious note, it’s not easy adjusting to gym life again! The hurt-y 30s is a thing 😵‍💫😅😝 Any other millenials out there having a hard time in the gym nowadays? 🫰”🏽

5. She Works Out With Her Husband

As you can see from some of the previous Instagram posts, Young works out with Daez a lot. Better Health states that working out with a loved one can be very beneficial. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

Meggan Grubb has a massive online community of 1.3M followers. The fitness influencer aims to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. “Ready to builddddd + get into a solid lifting routine again!!! Who wants some help with that too + fancies doing it with me,” she asked on her Instagram stories, posing in the gym for a mirror selfie. Here’s what Meggan does to maintain her health and wellness, and continue working towards her fitness goals.

1. She keeps moving

Meggan Grubb.2Meggan Grubb/Instagram

She continued to move and feel good throughout her pregnancy. “Feel so so sooo lucky to have been able to continue to move throughout my pregnancy and fill my body with endorphins, energy, strength and power. Exercise makes me feel so happy and makes me feel like me, I’ve never been more grateful for my body being able to move + grow my little baby too,” she said on Instagram. “Don’t get me wrong, training throughout pregnancy is 10000% not for everyone - it’ll depend on your symptoms, if you’re high risk and what you did prior to being pregnant so I in no way want this to make any mamas feel pressured but..If you can and you WANT to, keep going and keep moving that bod mama. Whether it’s weightlifting, pilates, yoga, walks! Movement will help you feel happier, healthier, lighter + actually helps with the aches and pains even if it feels like there’s no way it could. It really really will 💕 the mental strength you’ll gain from pushing through the harder days will be so beneficial too.”

2. She stays motivated

She remains motivated and active, keeping up with her routine and fitness goals. “Healthy happy strong women, let’s say it louder!!! Tag someone who needs to hear this today. Can’t wait to tell my baby girl this forever,” she said on Instagram. According to Health Direct, “most people struggle with motivation, but it is even more challenging if you have mental health issues such as depression or anxiety. Here are some tips: set yourself one specific, achievable goal. Think about how to include that goal in your life, what you need to do to make it happen. Then put a timeframe on it (such as one week or one month). Break your goal into small, easy tasks and set regular reminders to complete each step. Use your family and friends as support – tell them about your goals and encourage them to help keep you motivated.”

3. She factors in quick and effective workouts

She fits in quick, effective workouts. She posted “30 minute glutes ✨Your weekly reminder that you don’t need to spend hours in the gym, a 20-30 minute blast is SO beneficial 🤌🏼For my busy gals on the go this booty session is perrrrrrfect. I’m currently writing + testing sessions just like this for a new summer programme where all the workouts are going to be super compact but still effective for when you have less time, are on holiday this summer or just want something quick but killer for the muscles,” on Instagram to inspire those with minimal time to still factor in a workout.

4. She wants to be an inspiration

She wants to inspire her family to be active and healthy as they grow. “One thing I’m so passionate about now I’m a mum is to ensure Winnie grows up in an environment where she can see and feel how positive being active can be. She’s so much more likely to carry that feeling towards movement into her adult life then. It’s really hard getting into fitness as an adult if you don’t have any kind of foundation, I think it’s a huge reason the fitness industry was extremely male dominant for years. So many women grew up believing fitness was for boys, PE was for boys, we would get bulky and ‘manly’ if we did it,” she said on Instagram.

5. She’s positive

She stays positive with a healthy, happy mindset. “A mid week feel good reminder for you 🍓✨❤️‍🩹🌸 life’s way way too short to live seeing the glass half empty!! Look for the best in the people you meet, not the worst. Be silly like it’s 2k12 again. Tell the people you love that you love them as much as you can, it’s not weird!! Enjoy each day, the exciting ones AND the mundane ones - (cos there’s usually lots of them too.) Sit in the slower moments and be present. Look up and notice the little things and joys in life. Send this to a bestie who needs a lil positive pick me up today, cos they deserve it,” she said on Instagram.

Radio and TV presenter Jenni Falconer is gearing up for the London Marathon, and sharing worlds of encouragement for her fellow runners. Falconer, 48, posted a picture of herself wearing black running gear, smiling for her selfie. “I bloomin’ love running. 💙 It can be hard, it can be challenging, I’m certainly not going to breeze round the London Marathon course next weekend but I do know that at the end, I will feel an overwhelming sense of pride and achievement. If you are running any race, whether Manchester tomorrow, London next week or another, remember the fact that doing it is enough. Good luck. If you’re running London on April 21st, I’ll see you on the course! Happy running,” she captioned the inspiring post. Here’s what Falconer’s diet, exercise, and training looks like.

1. Light Breakfast

Sweet,Bananas,On,White,Wooden,TableShutterstock

Falconer prefers a light breakfast during the week. “Getting up so early for work means I’m not usually very hungry so I don't have a large breakfast,” she told Top Santé. “I may only have a banana and toasted bagel, then perhaps a protein shake after a run, followed by eggs or a chicken salad for lunch. If I am out and about, it can be quite difficult to sit down to eat during the day, but I try to always make sure we have plenty of protein-rich meals at home as I feel that it is good for recovery. I do love carbs, though – I adore bread but try not to buy it too much.”

2. Runner’s High

Falconer swears by both the mental and physical benefits of running. Running has always enhanced my mood and lifted my energy levels,” she told Top Santé. “Getting up at the crack of dawn can be tough but I am a morning person so I quickly feel awake. Then, I love to run early. I am on the radio every morning hosting the Smooth Radio breakfast show, so once I finish work, I run my commute home to southwest London. It really energizes me and I love that part of my morning. In fact, I just love the feeling I get after a run. For me, the runner’s high is the closest you’ll get to feeling like a superhero. You feel invincible, like nothing can take the shine away from your happy mood.”

3. Weight Training

Falconer added weight training to her fitness regimen. “I'm in my mid-forties and with that, things change in your body as a female,” she told Runner’s World. “I’ve been told the ideal thing to do is lift heavy weights – so I’ve started working with a trainer twice a week, focusing on running moves with heavy weights, such as lunges, squats and deadlifts. It’s really benefiting me.”

4. She Plays Golf

Falconer loves to play golf with her parents. “Three years ago, I developed a new sporting passion for golf and am now obsessed!” she told Top Santé. “I come from a family of golfers, so I now get to spend time with my parents doing something they love. Golf is such a great way to keep fit as you can get in so many steps going around the course. It’s also led to me having a new social group of friends, too. I don’t find it too difficult to keep fit in my 40s. I actually feel so much stronger and confident in my body at this age. I also know where I am in terms of work and family life, so keeping up with exercise is vital for my well being, too.”

5. Friendly Runner

Falconer loves running with similar-minded people, especially along the coast. “Every time I run I have a big cheesy grin on my face,” she told Runner’s World. “If you see me out running, please smile back because I smile at everyone, but no one else smiles! My favorite place to run is the south of Spain – there’s a stretch near Marbella that goes on for 10 miles along the coast. If you go out in the morning, you see the sunrise, and in the evening, you see the sunset – there are loads of people out there running and walking.”

Keely Hodgkinson, a rising star in track and field, has made waves on the global stage. After winning silver in the 2021 Olympics, she clinched gold in the 800 meter at this year's Olympics, solidifying her status as a top athlete. Before her triumphant performance, Hodgkinson graced the pages of ELLE UK, sharing stunning photos from the shoot on Instagram with the caption, "This was so fun." Curious about how she maintains her peak physical condition? Read on to discover five ways Keely Hodgkinson stays in shape and see the photos that prove her methods work.

1. She Does A Split 800 Meter

Hodgkinson shared her training secrets with Runner’s World. She says that she splits the 800 meter up. “There's a session I do, which is usually the last one I’ll run before a championships. It’s a split 800m, so a 400m, 30 seconds’ rest, then another 400m. The outcome is very accurate in terms of telling you what you’re capable of. When I was at the Tokyo Olympics, I did that session beforehand and I split a 1:55.3, then ended up running 1:55.8. So it’s a really honest reflection of where you’re at.”

2. She Trains 7 Days A Week

Hodgkinson trains 7 days a week. She shared her routine with Runner’s World. “So, it’s cross training on Mondays. On Tuesdays, I’ll do a session on the cross trainer and then I’ll do a track session. Wednesdays involve a 30-minute run and 40 minutes on the cross trainer, plus some gym work. Thursdays are similar to Tuesdays, but with maybe more of a tempo-type session. I always have Fridays off, then Saturdays in the winter will be a longer session and in the summer a track session. Sundays in the winter will be hills, and in the summer I’ll do a 15-minute run.”

3. She Eats A Pre-Race Breakfast

Oatmeal,Porridge,In,White,Bowl,,Close,Up,View.Shutterstock

Hodgkinson shared her favorite pre-race breakfast with Runner’s World. “It’s probably one of those questions where nearly every athlete has the same answer, but I’d say porridge – and I always have a cup of tea. Then white toast. I’m usually the athlete who doesn’t have the snacks, although there will often be some granola lying around somewhere.”

4. She Enjoys Eating Healthy

Hodgkinson revealed to Runner’s World that she actually enjoys eating healthy. “I eat pretty well. I’m not really a person who craves takeaways or things like that, because they just don’t make me feel very good. My friends will say, ‘Let’s get a Chinese,’ but I’d rather just eat a chocolate bar, to be honest – that’s my thing. So I eat pretty well, not so much because I have to, but more because I like to. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and good carbohydrates, but there will always be a chocolate bar, too. I think I need the calories, to be honest.”

5. She Isn’t Bothered By What Others Think

Hodgkinson isn’t bothered by what others think of her. She told ELLE UK, “You can’t get overly bothered about what everyone else is doing. I think that’s good [to remember] in every aspect of life, whether it’s how you look or what job you have – if you’re just comparing, you’re going to be miserable.”

So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Entertainment India - March 2023

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
