Meghan Rienks is doing her hair – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer shows off her fit figure while in exercise clothes. “it’s a hold your breath & hope for the best kind of thing 🫧 🛀🏻🤞🏼 #wavyhair #wavyhairroutine,” she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Hot Water and ACV

Meghan starts her day with a cup of hot water and apple cider vinegar, because she has a "sensitive tummy," so the concoction keeps nausea at bay, she told Women’s Health. There is limited research that ACV may help to reduce high cholesterol and regulate blood glucose levels. However, it may damage the teeth or throat due to the acidity of the mixture. The best way to take it is by mixing one tbsp of ACV with water and drinking it through a straw.

2. At-Home Workouts

Meghan loves at-home workouts. "My best friend actually got me into these home workouts by Obé fitness," Meghan says. Some of the workouts she loves are strength-training based. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

3. Protein Smoothie

Here is Meghan’s go-to protein-packed smoothie. Blend all the ingredients together.

  • Your milk of choice (Meghan uses almond!)
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • A spoonful of chia seeds
  • Half an avocado or a some almond butter
  • A handful of frozen strawberries

4. Cabbage Soup

Meghan shared this cabbage soup recipe. “Ohhhhhh baby we’re back for another #cookdinnerwithme,” she wrote in the caption, revealing the recipe.

5. Melatonin and Tea

Meghan sometimes struggles to fall asleep "I'm guilty of staying up way too late sometimes. I have a really hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, so I recently started taking melatonin." She might also drink tea before bed to help her chill out and "turn her brain off." Numerous studies have shown that a variety of teas may boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off cancer and heart disease.
