Michela Persico is married to Daniele Rugani. She also has a large following on social media. Persico shares a lot of gorgeous photos on Instagram. Last month, she shared some photos of herself playing padel. Persico captioned the post, “What you don’t do for love, you also learn to play padel 🎾😜” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Michela Persico stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Plays Padel

Persico, naturally, likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She also shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself playing on the court. Persico captioned the post, “They say that ‘the important thing is to participate’ well 😬But, if it means living together such a beautiful experience, then yes, I confirm! Thank you.” LTA states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Padel is a fun way keep active and get in your workout. It’s a full-body workout that keeps you moving from beginning to end – helping to improve your endurance, cardiovascular health and prevent health risk factors in the future. It involves plenty of running, movement from side-to-side and quick changes of direction and will help you build your speed and strength. Like tennis, while improving your overall aerobic fitness so you can run for longer, padel also helps you build muscle with short and explosive movements to benefit your anaerobic  fitness.”

2. She Swims

Persico likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself in a pool in Miami. The Cleveland Clinic states that since swimming is a cardio workout, it has a lot of benefits. “Cardio activity is one of the keys to a healthy heart, and swimming’s cardiovascular benefits are clear. It’s been shown to: Improve cholesterol levels. Reduce blood pressure. Lower your risk of heart disease.”

3. She Loves Avocado

Persico loves avocado. In this set of photos she posted on Instagram, she is seen enjoying avocado toast. Cedars Sinai states that avocados have a lot of fiber, and this makes them healthy. “High fiber diets have been lauded for lowering blood sugar, cutting cholesterol, and potentially preventing some kinds of cancer—like colon cancer. The recommended daily intake of fiber is 25 grams a day for women and 35 grams for men, with most of us falling short of those goals. Avocado packs about 1 gram per tablespoon, with around 10 grams in an entire fruit.”

4. She Loves Eggs

Close-up,View,Of,Raw,Chicken,Eggs,In,Egg,Box,OnShutterstock

Persico also loves to eat eggs. In the previous Instagram post, her avocado toast has an egg on top. Keck Medicine of USC states that eggs has a lot of benefits. “Eggs have been a dietary staple since time immemorial and there’s good reason for their continued presence in our menus and meals. Not only do they offer culinary variety — hard-boiled eggs, omelets, deviled eggs and then some — they are also a source of protein, calcium and several vitamins and nutrients.”

5. She Loves Green Juice

Michela Persico.1Michela Persico/Instagram

Persico loves to drink green juice. In one photo in the previous Instagram series, she is seen drinking a glass of green juice. The Mayo Clinic states that juices have a lot of benefits. “Juicing can play a role in a balanced diet. For instance, it can help you get fruits and vegetables if you don't enjoy eating them. Juicing also can give the digestive system a rest from digesting fiber. This may help some people who have certain health conditions or who receive certain medical treatments.”

Eva Longoria is getting her sweat on – on the padel court. In a new social media post the Desperate Housewives star shows off her incredible body in a padel dress during a strenuous workout. “That’s gonna leave a mark,” she wrote on the Instagram Stories clip. What does Eva love about padel and why is padel such a great workout? Here is everything you need to know.

1. Longoria Is “Addicted” to Padel

Eav.Longoria.1Eva Longoria/Instagram

Longoria is “addicted” to the sport and “watches it all the time on TV, all the time on my Instagram,” she told CNN Sport’s Amanda Davies. “I was exposed to padel about 10 years ago through my husband and I became a fan.”

2. She Says It’s a Great Sport for Women

Eav.Longoria.2Eva Longoria/Instagram

“Women are super talented in this sport,” she added. “So women should absolutely be heading these teams and being a part of management and a part of strategy for where the sport needs to go … These women on the padel tour are bringing a lot of fans to these matches.”

3. What Makes Padel a Good Workout?

Eav.Longoria.3Eva Longoria/Instagram

Padel courts look like a small tennis court, but have glass walls that are actually part of the court. While very similar to tennis, the biggest difference is that the ball has to bounce off the floor before your opponent is able to hit it – and you can also hit the ball off the walls of the court. Why is padel such a great workout? “One of the many objectives that we seek to achieve through participating in sport is to improve general muscle tone, and playing padel even helps tone the muscles in the face, because you will not stop smiling. It also improves our coordination, mobility and reflexes,” pro Jorge Rodriguez, Juan Lebron's padel coach, writes for racquet brand Babolat.

4. It’s Especially Good for Toning the Glutes and Arm Muscles

Padel is also a great workout for the glutes, “and all the muscles we use in the arms, making our posture firmer.”

5. It Burns Up to 1000 Calories Per Hour

It’s also a great cardiovascular workout. You can burn up to 1000 calories in one game, he maintains. It is also an aerobic workout, which means it helps strengthen your heart and improve other aspects of your health.

6. It Might Help Relax You

“A game of padel will alleviate stress after a hard day at work, and that’s the best antidepressant there is. You’ll feel happy and light-hearted as your body secretes dopamine, endorphins and serotonin - the well-known happiness hormones!” he adds.

7. All Ages Can Play Padel

Monitor,Teaching,Padel,Class,To,Child,,His,Student,-,TrainerShutterstock

Padel is a great workout for all ages. “Scientific research has shown that regular padel practice appears to be recommended to improve physical fitness and promote health, both in adults and children,” a 2022 study examining the benefits of padel concluded.

6. It’s a Social Game

Two,Happy,Couples,After,Playing,Padel,On,The,Tennis,Court

Padel encourages socialization, as it is a doubles game. Engaging in social activities, especially later in life, has been linked to longevity.

Paola Antonini is getting ready for a tennis tournament. In a new social media post the Brazilian amputee influencer flaunts her amazingly fit figure in a tennis outfit. “Over here fully focused on prepping for the tournament in June! Not too long to go! Excited! Hahaha 🎾,” she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Boxing

Paola enjoys boxing. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

2. Running

Paola only has one leg, but that doesn’t stop her from running. “The step is always in front of the objective that life is moved by new challenges. Because if you are not constantly challenged, you will probably accommodate yourself. And it can be scary, but it doesn't end with people seeing that everything that overcomes people is worth it. In the last 2 years I returned to walking, directing, playing tennis, starting to dance, learning to surf, doing an exchange, parading. Or my new challenge? Relearn to run. Protect yourself with me, now all you need is #maisumpasso, let's go together nessa?” she captioned a post.

3. Yoga

Paola does yoga regularly. “Woke up sleepy today? Come on! Get up and enjoy this beautiful life! Fall in love with taking care of yourself.. mind, body and spirit,” she captioned a post. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

4. Paddleboarding

Paddleboarding is another one of Paola’s favorite activities. “Infinite paradise... 🏄🏼‍♀️,” she captioned a photo of herself paddleboarding in Brazil. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio. The water sport can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140 pound male and 436 for a female the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

5. Tennis

In her recent post, Paola shows off her tennis skills. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

Eva Longoria is a Hollywood powerhouse. She’s an actress, best known for her role on the TV series Desperate Housewives. She’s a producer, and has produced the TV series, Devious Maids, and the films Food Chains and The Harvest. Last year, Longoria made her directorial debut on the film Flamin’ Hot. She also stays super fit at age 49: Longoria recently took up padel, and shared a photo on her Instagram story of herself on the court. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Eva Longoria stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Prioritizes Wellness

For Longoria, being healthy means prioritizing her fitness and her diet. She tells Vogue, “People say they eat well but they don’t exercise. Or they run 20 miles a day but they can’t lose weight. You have to do both. It depends, I’ll do a cleanse to feel better, but I’ll do no sugar to lose weight, or I’ll do vegan to lean out. Everything has a different reaction.”

2. She Works Out Early

Longoria tells ELLE that she makes working out a regular activity. She says that her secret is getting it done first thing in the morning. “We tend to overthink our workout routine—‘I don’t have a gym membership, I don’t have equipment at home,’—you don’t need anything to be active. Moving your body is a start. Wake up an hour earlier and go to the gym. I promise you’re gonna have way more time during the day because it just energizes you and your brain in a very different way than if you don’t.”

3. She Keeps Her Skin Hydrated

Longoria shared some of her skincare secrets in an interview with Glamour. She says that she makes sure to keep her skin hydrated, and shared her favorite products for doing so. “I remember doing a commercial with L'Oréal's Revitalift Triple Power Anti-Aging Moisturizer, this cream that has vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. It's plumping—I was like, Oh my God, it's one cream with everything. I use it at night as the last product in my skin care routine. I love that it is has three: hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and pro-retinol. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated.”

4. She Uses Skincare Tools

Close,Up,Side,View,Portrait,Of,Attractive,Lady,With,NaturalShutterstock

Longoria shared her favorite facial tools with Glamour. “Right now, I'm very much into the Facify Beauty Wand, which is this face massager. It has these rotating balls, you turn it on, and it vibrates, rotates, heats up, and cools. It's this great little machine. I use it every day, especially when I'm shooting, and it just gets the blood flowing. You're doing a facial massage, like doing the work of gua sha but easier because these balls are electronic and they're moving for you. And then I'm using the Lyma Laser lately. Oh my God, I noticed such a difference. Those two have been my go-tos.”

5. She Plays Padel

Eva Longoria.1Eva Longoria/Instagram

As you can see from her Instagram story, Longoria likes to play padel. According to LTA.org, the sport has a lot of benefits. “It’s a full-body workout that keeps you moving from beginning to end – helping to improve your endurance, cardiovascular health and prevent health risk factors in the future. It involves plenty of running, movement from side-to-side and quick changes of direction and will help you build your speed and strength. Rachel Stuhlmann, known for her dynamic presence as a model and tennis influencer, brings her passion for wellness, sports, and fitness to every aspect of her life. In a recent Instagram post, she shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of creating her content, showcasing her dedication to the sport and the energy she brings to each shoot. “BTS filming of a tennis drill w the bestie😭💕🎾,” she captioned the video, giving fans a sneak peek into her content creation process. Whether she’s playing tennis, staying disciplined in her fitness routine, or sharing her wellness journey, Stuhlmann’s approach is all about intentionality and joy. Here’s a closer look at the habits that keep her active, healthy, and balanced.

1. She Plays Tennis

Tennis is one of the ways that Stuhlmann stays in shape. Better Health states that tennis has a lot of health benefits. “Playing tennis has many health benefits including: increasing aerobic capacities, lowering resting heart rate and blood pressure, improving metabolic function, increasing bone density, lowering body fat, improving muscle tone, strength and flexibility, increasing reaction times.”

2. She Plays Pickleball

Stuhlmann also plays pickleball to keep herself in shape. The Cleveland Clinic states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Sports like pickleball stress your muscles and bones. Your body responds by making them stronger. Routine pickleball play can help you: Improve muscle strength. Prevent osteoporosis, a disease that weakens your bones and can lead to fractures.”

3. She Values Wellness

Stuhlmann opened up about her wellness journey in an interview with Fitness Gurls. “My whole life has been tennis; however, there was a short time right after college when I shifted much of my focus from the tennis world to fitness training. I think I was just so excited to be finished with only being able to do tennis-specific workouts and for the first time in my life, I had the freedom to do whatever workouts I wanted to! I began weight training, working out extremely hard, and focusing on my nutrition. I went all in; I did two strategic workouts a day and followed a weighed-out meal plan given to me by a nutritionist who helped me reach my goals.”

4. She’s Disciplined

Stuhlmann talked about the discipline that she gained from tennis in her Fitness Gurls interview. “I loved being an athlete, and playing college tennis taught me many qualities—time management, work ethic, and resilience. Committing to my studies was not as easy for me as developing my tennis career. Fortunately, I was provided with great tutors and mentors at Mizzou that helped me stay on top of my studies. Sometimes outsourcing and working as a team with other people is a good way to succeed. I was super disciplined with my training and workout routines, and once I finished playing in college, I transferred that into my professional career. Now instead of preparing and training for big tennis matches, I focus on everything I have going on in my professional life and how I can best show up for all the various work I do within the sport.”

5. She Plans Her Workouts

Stuhlmann likes to plan out her workouts ahead of time. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “I told you that this year I’m hitting these workouts hard, and with confidence!☺️🔥🧡💪With such a busy schedule, it’s important for me to have efficient and effective workouts & meal plans. Through years of experience (and trial & error🙂), I have figured out what works for me to stay fit and healthy!💯😌”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

Many fans saw this as subtle shade toward Phaedra Parks, who excelled in the previous season.

Beyond the headlines, Glanville has shared glimpses into her personal wellness routine, from skincare secrets to unconventional self-care methods. Here’s a look at how she stays feeling and looking her best.

She Uses Eye Patches

They are amaze! #ThanksMarissa 💋 (Blogging about all the products, will be posting on @bbeautyunfltrd soon).”

She Walks

Brandi is seen walking her dog

Brandi Glanville/Instagram

Glanville likes to walk her dogs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her pup walking in Los Angeles. Glanville captioned the post, “On our way to do some podcasting.” Harvard Health says that walking is very beneficial. “Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.”

She Has A Dog

As you can see from the previous Instagram post, Glanville has pet dogs. And according to Harvard Health, this can be beneficial. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

She Worked With A Breath Coach

Glanville revealed to Us Weekly that she works with a breath coach to help with her mental health. “I’m still doing cosmetic stuff, but at the same time trying to fix myself. I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. "I mean, to be honest, I haven't worn a crop top in years, and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre," she says. "Not that I feel like everyone should do that, but I can go work out with a crop top on and not feel like I have my mommy stomach and I shouldn't sit down. So it's definitely empowered me in that aspect."

She Boxes

While on Shadowhunters, McNamara did a lot of HIIT. "In order to do the fight scenes, I needed a lot of upper body strength because I would be holding weapons all day," she says to Women’s Health. "High intensity interval training turned out to be the perfect thing for me. I was able to keep up my cardio stamina and build upon that so I could do the fight scenes, which are basically just sprints."
