Molly Sims is a model, host, and blogger. She shares a lot of her wellness secrets with her fans. Sims recently shared a video on Instagram of herself doing an at-home workout, while doing things like painting her nails. Sims captioned the post, “Take work calls, self care, workout, pack for a family of 5 for two months, make lunches, hydrate, go to sports practice, repeat 🫠 Countdown 2 days.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Molly Sims stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Cuts Certain Foods Out

Sims shared some of her diet secrets with Parade. She says that she limits alcohol and protein bars. “You have to watch your wine—it's a lot of sugar. One glass is fine, but after a while, you start to really feel it. You have to be careful with all the bars. You can go down a rabbit hole, but half of them are A) not good, and B) not good for you."

2. She Loves Whey Protein

Sims also tells Parade that she adds whey protein to a lot of her food. “I add Isopure whey protein to my coffee. I'll also add it to an egg white recipe and I made banana blueberry muffins with vanilla icing [with it]. It’s not chalky, so you don’t taste it, and I'll also add it to a smoothie with blueberries and dates and almond milk, flax seeds and chia seeds."

3. She’s Not Fussing About Her Weight

Sims opened up about her past body image struggles, and how she’s working through them, to HollywoodLife. “Having to be a size two for 20 years is never easy on the mind. I think I’ll always have some type of body dysmorphia just because of that. You know, my hands still sweat when I try things on. I don’t think that’ll ever go away. I think my mindset, now that I have kids, is just different. I use my jeans. I don’t weigh myself. I know that I’m not good with a number on a scale, but I am good with a pair of jeans or a pair of pants or a dress, to know my body and where I am.”

4. She Schedules Her Diet

Sims shared some of her wellness secrets with Allure. She says that she schedules out her diet. "Schedule your time. People always ask, 'How do you do it all?' I'm like a walking calendar. I literally make my snacks on a Sunday if I'm traveling on a Tuesday, and I'll pack them before I leave. Or I'll look at the menu of a restaurant we plan on going to beforehand, and I'll say, 'OK, we're getting tacos on Tuesday, so we're going meatless on Monday.'"

5. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Sims likes to do different things to stay fit. She shared her favorite workouts with HollywoodLife. “I do pilates, I do hot yoga, all to strengthen the core and get lean and long. I love Megan Roupe‘s Sculpt Society, I love hot pilates with Shannon Nadj. I think my body does better when I do different things.”

1. Her Diet Is Extremely Healthy

Molly doesn’t go on drastic diets. “It's more about living healthy and how you're feeling," she told Women's Health. "I truly, truly don't like the word 'diet.' I don't even like the scale. I use a pair of jeans; the jeans don't lie I can tell you that." However, she is very strict about what she puts in her body. "I tend to stay away from anything super sugary, like orange juice grapefruit juice, because it really spikes me," she added. "I try to stay away from dried fruits; it's ultimately full of sugar.” She also keeps gluten intake to a minimum. "It's not that I'm celiac; I just feel better when I have less of it," she said. "I don't care if I'm being rude to the rest of the table," she added to Shape, revealing that she always orders a salad first thing after sitting down at a table to keep herself from snacking on carbs. Then I'm not tempted to reach for that bread." Finally, she fuels up on healthy fats. “I would have never eaten an avocado 10 years ago if you paid me,” she told Health. “Like, are you joking? But now, instead of binging [and] not eating all day, eat it and then you won't binge.”

2. She Does Intermittent Fasting

Molly is one of the many stars who swears by intermittent fasting. She starts the day with a smoothie with blueberries, almond milk, Vital Proteins protein, and greens at noon. She finishes her last meal of the day by 7 p.m.

3. She Likes Short But Intense Workouts

Fitness,,Healthy,And,Active,Lifestyles,Concept.,Dumbbells,,Sport,Shoes,,SmartShutterstock

Molly is a fan of HIIT style workouts, after years of being a cardio queen. “I used to be that girl who wouldn’t pick up the 2-lb weights at SoulCycle with the fear that I’d bulk. That mentality has shifted drastically,” she explained on her blog. "On good days, workout. On bad days, workout harder,” she captioned an Instagram post of her workout. “Today’s circuit is what I do when I just have 20 minutes with @lauralizkeller [Sims' personal trainer] to get it in and still break a sweat!” Usually she does 45 second intervals of the following, with the entire set repeated two to three times: jumping jacks, modified pushups, tricep dips, squat jumps, leg raises, burpees, ab lateral bend and hold. To make it harder, she uses ankle and wrist weights the entire time.

4. She Tries New Things

Molly is all about trying the latest and greatest health and fitness hacks. “Instagram isn’t real, let’s be honest. I probably had one of the hardest summers of my life, so thank you. I definitely put energy into trying to feel good and look good—I take care of myself. But I also have a lot of natural energy. For the most part, I’m a very positive person. I hate when celebrities say, ‘I just sleep a lot and drink a lot of water.’ You might, but you also do more,” she told New Beauty. “I am definitely one to keep my pulse on beauty and wellness treatments, and we’re learning about so many things right now, like peptides and spironolactone and metformin, herbs, mushrooms, and collagen. Look at where CBD was for the past 30 years and where it is now. Those little hippies were right. I do really try to follow through with these things. I’ll do intermittent fasting, I’ll do the Mediterranean diet, I’ll try it all. I really do try.”

5. She Prioritizes Self-care

“You have to” prioritize self-care, Molly told New Beauty. “You literally have to calendar your own self in. As we all know, guilt isn’t real; it’s just what we tell ourselves. The better you feel about yourself, the better person you are; the better mom you are. You feel more prepared to take on the world. Like yesterday, I was like, ‘I want to go to summer camp. I want to be fed, I want to sleep. Put in me summer camp, OK? Send me to mom summer camp.”

Molly Ava is urging her followers to take a break from fitness when you need it – in her workout gear. In a new post, the fitness influencer reveals that she put on weight during a recent vacation, but she is okay about it. “LIVE YA DAMN LIFE GIRLIE ✨,” she wrote in the Instagram caption, showing off her strong body in a two-piece look. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care and what is her latest message? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. She Once Tried Fat Burning Pills and “Teatox”

Young,Woman,Holding,Packs,Of,Pills,And,Measuring,Tape,InShutterstock

Molly reveals that in 2019 she decided she wanted to lose weight and tried instant fix products, but they didn’t work. “I came to my fitness journey an unhealthy, depressed student, drinking too many VKs and relying only on mac and cheese ready meals and fruit pastilles for fuel. So what did I do? I bought a teatox and some fat burning pills (I wish this was a joke), and clearly that didn’t work. I just had the runs and a weird tummy,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

2. Then, She Discovered Lifting

"So I sat myself down at the start (well February because January was, if you’ll pardon the pun, a shit show) of 2019, and said enough was enough,” she continued in the post. "I bought a gym guide, some protein powder and set myself some goals. I was going to stick to it this time. For the first 2+ years of this journey all I cared about was being small. I just wanted to be lean and slim, I enjoyed lifting I loved feeling strong, but the overriding goal was so be small."

3. She Also Realized You Need to Eat More to Get in Shape

"It’s not just something you wake up with, but one day after realising both my boobs and a** had done a runner I knew I couldn’t live life under 2000 calories forever and something needed to change,” she continued in the post. "So with the help and encouragement of @gymwithwarr we both embarked on our first bulk and honestly it changed my life. I had never felt such enjoyment from food, without any guilt, my body worked so much better, my mental health was a million times more positive, my hair was thicker my skin was healthier and best of all MY LEGS WERE GROWING. I felt like a beast, I trained hard, I kept going and I accepted learning and growing through the tough times, self-doubt and some incredibly testing body image days."

4. Strength Training

Molly’s workouts are now focused around strength training and lifting weights. She does old school moves like chest presses, rows, single leg step ups, and Bulgarian split squats. “Speedy full body(ish) workout,” she captioned a post. “One of those days where you need to be in and out but you want to get the PUMP 🔥 Shoulders, back and lower all HIT 🫶🏼Reps and sets on screen, 60-120s rest between sets (as needed).”

5. It’s Okay to Take Breaks, She Says

Molly’s message in her latest post, is that it’s okay to take breaks from your routine. “This past weekend was the FIRST weekend I’ve had at home in over a month, Life has been a liiiil crazy to say the least but I wouldn’t change a moment of that 🫶🏼I had a whole 9 days of ALL food out on my holiday, 4 days on a hen do, 2 days for Taylor swift, and many other meals out in between and that’s ok it’s been AWESOME 🍕Stepping on the scales after a busy period can be a little scary, especially if you have a fat loss goal, but gaining weight does not reflect on YOU as a person in any way shape or form so don’t you forget that. Am I rushing to loose this weight? No im back at my maintenance calories and kindly letting my body do its thing,” she wrote.

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
