1. She Works Out At Home

For years, López's busy schedule prevented her from working out. However, she tells Hola USA that the pandemic allowed her to start working out at home. “The quarantine also gave me the opportunity to dedicate time to myself, do my exercises and prioritize that in my life,” she says. “When my girl started taking classes from home, I started to schedule exercises, and at first I lost between seven and ten pounds, and I was excited.”
2. She Uses WW

López is a big fan of the WW program, and works with one of their coaches to help her eat right. “The sessions with my WW coach help me a lot to stay motivated and focused, and I have already lost more than 20 pounds,” she says to Hola USA. “The program has brought me very positive things, and I feel more confident. Now I dare to wear clothes that I used when I was a few pounds lighter.”
3. She Believes In Moderation

López says to Hola USA that she doesn’t diet, and instead focuses on eating things in moderation. “At WW, we don’t do diets, there we can choose what to eat among all the available things, and we follow suggestions for foods that have fewer points,” she says. “I eat everything in very moderate amounts.”
4. She Cut Out Sodas

While López believes in a balanced diet, she also believes in avoiding certain foods. She tells Hola USA that she cut out one thing in her diet all together. “I completely stopped drinking sodas. I stopped because, for me, they are a trigger that makes me gain weight and delays me in my process.” "According to an American Heart Association study, consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks was associated with coronary vascular disease mortality and artificially sweetened drinks were associated with cardiovascular disease mortality in the highest intake category only," she told the Cleveland Clinic.
5. She Cooks Vegetable Soup

López loves to cook healthy meals as a way to eat better. She revealed some of her go-to recipes on an Instagram live. One of Lopez’s favorite meals to make is vegetable soup. “I add mixed vegetables, tomato, chicken, onion to give it a rich flavor, and sometimes I even add an egg,” she said.
