Rae opened up about her wellness and skincare secrets in an interview with Byrdie. She revealed that she made a major change to her skincare process. “I used to use a lot of those types of products, but realized there were too many products on my face. I was layering so many products at once, especially when I was putting makeup on top. It was too much buildup for my skin.”
2. She Doesn’t Let People Tell Her Who She Should Be

Rae is all about authenticity, and she doesn’t let anyone dictate what she’s supposed to do. She tells Glamour, “I feel like it’s a big trend nowadays, to tell people who they are, what they should be doing, what they should be wearing, what they should look like and what their body should be like. I see videos all the time where it's like, ‘I don't like this girl's outfit at all’ or ‘she should wear something like this.’ NO! You can wear what you wanna wear, and wear what you're comfortable wearing. No one should tell you what you should or shouldn't wear or what you look good in. If you feel confident in it, then it doesn’t matter!”

When it comes to haters, Rae tells Glamour that she mostly ignores them. She says that she focuses on her success, as that’s the best way to get back at haters. “The best tips to clap back against misogyny is probably success. Proving that you can do anything you want to do with no limitations!”
