She Eats Clean
Being a model means having to eat clean, especially prior to a show or gig, and Ambrosio makes sure to eat healthy meals. She says to Harper's Bazaar, "For breakfast I usually have eggs and/or avocado toast and after my work-out I usually grab a green juice followed by lunch where I usually have a salad along with some chicken or fish. For dinner I might go for sushi, or grill Brazilian BBQ at home," she said.
She's A Believer In Moderation
Ambriosio tries to eat healthy, but she also doesn't deprive herself of foods she loves. Ambrosio says to The Edit that she's a believer in moderation. "I'm all about moderation and eating something different every day. Obviously I try not to splurge on pasta, but if I'm back in Brazil where everything is pasta- or bread-based — and so yummy — I'll eat whatever I want, then go back to lots of salads and chicken or fish with veg as soon as I'm back in LA."
She Embraces Her Curves And Her Changing Body
Ambrosio has two children, which made her body go through changes. However, the model said to The Edit that she embraces her body at every stage. "I think I have a better body now than before I had kids. It's partly because I work out, whereas before I didn't, but also to do with the shape — it just looks more formed now, and I feel better about it than I did."
She Takes Care of Her Body and Her Mind
For Ambrosio, wellness means taking care of her mind just as much as her body, and making sure she feels confident. Ambrosio tells The Edit that she advises everyone to do what makes them feel happy and confident. "If cosmetic help makes you feel better about yourself and gives you confidence, then great. None of us can ever be sure of what we're going to end up wanting to do in the future. But it's important to take care of our mind and spirit, too, not just the outside."
She Does Online Workouts
During the COVID-19 pandemic, gyms were closed, which forced people to have to workout at their homes. However, Ambrosio wasn't super effected by this, as she loves to workout online. In fact, she even teamed up with trainer Shawn Booth and Michelob ULTRA to create a live workout series. When promoting the series on FOX News, Ambrosio says "It's a super fun and easy way to get a good sweat and do it for a great cause. Plus you get to reward yourself with a beer after!"
She Loves Yoga
Ambrosio says to FOX News that she's a huge fan of yoga."I love to do yoga as it centers me and also at the same time keeps me in shape." Ambrosio also says that she makes sure to do some stretching everyday, no matter how busy she gets. "Sometimes I don't have much time to work out, in which case I try to do some stretching and hold a plank for five to 10 minutes,"
She Does Outdoor Activities With Her Family
Ambrosio has two children, and she loves to stay active and get outside with them. Ambrosio told People, "We love going to the beach, hanging in Malibu and playing volleyball. We like going rollerblading and biking, all kind of things! Here in California, it's so easy!"
